I think the concerning thing is the most wanted, needed updates are neither interesting or exciting, they are features we have previously.

@theMEGAniggle my 6 year old plays a lot of Lego games and if a game isn’t on the Home Screen he hasn’t been able to figure out navigating the rest of the system yet. On both the ps3 and ps4 we have a folder for Lego, he knows just where to go. Ps5 step backwards in terms of user friendliness on that.

For me the worst thing has been the 3D audio for TVs, I felt they built it up and at least on my setup it sounds horrible and muffled

Few more unobtainable platinums on the list then. They’ve been down so long I was fairly certain this was going to happen.

I thought all the game footage was good but I was really hoping for an update on the firmware and an update on the services. They made a comment that something new was coming soon on services maybe 9 months ago and nothing,
Oh and I almost choked when they said they love the opportunity to talk to their fans.

I worry they will change too much and it won’t live up to the original. Given the quality of the original it’s almost a certainty.

@Rob_230 I think it depends on what region you have as to whether there are correct voice actors. Think it also depends where you watch as well as if memory serves prime has different voice actors to CBeebies

Does it allow you to get the trophies does anyone know

@TheDudeElDuderino I agree with you to an extent. I think Sony are playing a dangerous game thinking they are safe, but if they get enough bad publicity while their console is so hard to find, people may get tired of waiting. Sony have a great launch line up but if ms can get a few games out before the masses can get their hands on the console then what good does it do?

Does anyone think Sony may be smarter than we give them credit for. By back tracking on this they now get criticism free $10 upgrades on subsequent games. Maybe that was the plan all along?

The thing is, these companies spend more on budget because they can make more money. Profits are higher than ever if you make a decent game.

The truth of how needed this super ssd is will come from if these games get ported to grandma’s pc next year. Sony’s interest in that market does kind of contradict statements that it’s only viable with such fast hardware

@Cyxn1d3 the dlc strategy is the same as Witcher 3, some free cosmetics and weapons, maybe a mission or two, and then significant paid for expansions. This has not changed since the beginning so not sure why you are upset by that.

I started playing this again last night, there are bits where you are involved in the story that feel great but man that city feels so empty. I may hold off carrying on for this patch, I know it won’t fix the emptiness but may as well have latest version of ive waited this long.

I think the only think they need is someone to balance the games better, don’t give 2 sims the same month, don’t give 2 FPS the same month etc

What’s baffling to me is they thought all this was going to be in the day one patch.

I get the argument that they are a small team and so are having a few difficulties but if that’s the case why are they wasting resource on gimmicks like this rather than on the game

This feels like the demo they always put out then you pay to add to it? The only reason I ever saw for pes was master league so I’m disappointed by this.

A better way to keep customers would be to stop increasing the price to pay for services people don’t want.

If only Sony had a portable system these could release on.

@The_New_Butler you can see what he is saying though, they’ve deliberately not made a ps5 version so it’s best on Xbox. That said I can’t blame them.

Wrestling games were a lot of fun until probably the ps3 era, that’s around when they fell apart for me. This looks ok, might give it a go.

I have to say I find the generic foot step implementation annoying on the dualsense. Maybe because it feels like they felt they had to do something and got lazy.

He still can’t get on the pitch though unfortunately.

I’d just end up with a partially finished trophy list then though, I wish they implemented cross saves/cross play like they did previous.

I’ve been planning to pick up the ps5 version of judgement and now I’m torn. Maybe I just play ps4?

I’ve been holding offf for ps5 version so not too bad for me. But I don’t like this practice from Sony. The upgrade should be free with a fee for the expansion like ffvii. This just seems greedy.

This almost sucks more than the store closing. It kills functionality to invite people to play online for games you have already bought. Sad day here.

How do you get to day of release and realise you need an extra month+?

I think this is ok but they should prob keep a few franchise exclusive, like god of war, uncharted and little big planet maybe

Hate to say it about ea, but at least on the Star Wars side they have been outstanding since battlefront 2

Given the likes of assassins creed and life of black tiger I don’t believe them. It is 100% to do with cdpr wanting to allow refunds

I preferred the ps3/PS4/vita shared lists to be honest

@strawhatcrew you have a point to an extent. Maybe it is just how horrendously bad Sony are at PR at the moment. A clever company would have come out and said “we hear you and given the current climate, where possible we will strive to release games on PS4 where it doesn’t impact PS5 development”.
Then I think they come off as a good guy rather than as lying.

If Sony are able to build god of war as a fantastic ps5 experience, and then strip it back so it works on PS4 then I see that as a good thing. If it’s holding back ps5 development then it may have a problem.

However, more than Sony lying, Microsoft should probably be commended for being honest and putting their plans on the table.

We have seen how stunning work individual devs have done in the past, this might be a very good looking but small title.

Currently playing saints row 3 on it and just got enslaved off eBay so looking forward to that

@OthmaneAD We don't know it will be the GOTY edition. Often these services are used to encourage DLC sales.

Are patches still coming? Everything has gone very quiet recently.

Final fantasy released one mainline game last gen and it needs a break? Yeah there were ports and a remake to bring some older games to new platforms but nothin excessive.

And as far as xiii goes I quite liked it, wish I could play it on modern hardware like a certain other brand can.
