Interesting that reports are Sony are going to rely on their most die hard fans because of the price of the ps6 but it’s those die hards they’ve most upset. I don’t thing a ps6 is a day 1 guarantee for me anymore

Been playing this with my son and been having a lot of fun, he is loving it, but the battle pass is horrendous. How can you have a game tell you how you are supposed to play especially when you have paid extra for it?

@AllRedsAreFox exactly this, if we were seeing games coming out on PC that consoles couldnt handle I would understand but I dont think devs know what to do with the power they have now and for the most part i think the power is used to reduce the need for optimisation

I worry this will fail and Sony will see that as a lack of interest in mobile. The screen on the current one is more than good enough and although I may have gone for OLED to begin with I dont think it will be worth the upgrade and the Portal may have already found its ceiling in number of users.

As with every attempt to reboot speedball I will buy it. I hope it’s good, but my expectations are low.

I might put 9 as my favorite then 10, but its right up there.

@Jacko11 I wouldnt say it makes them entitled, everyone has different amount of disposable income on based on that hes free to feel its to much for him right now. We all know discounts come pretty quick for a lot of games.

It would have been fine for a spin off game but for me it didnt feel like a mainline FF.

They turned their backs on what FF fans like in search of new fans and ended up missing both.

@Oram77 as an adult with minimal that has to try and figure out which direction to go in every time I start the game a map would be beneficial. Its basically an accessibility option.

When I eventually got to it I very much enjoyed it. I think the reviews were a little harsh but I get it was a short experience for the price

The PS app used to tell me when games in my wishlist went on sale but it doesn’t bother any more. Anyone else had that problem?

What a ridiculous approach. I might pay a tenner to upgrade, I wont pay 50 for something I already have. They could have had some money, instead they get none.

If we are honest Arkham Knight was a big disappointment, not just the Batmobile stuff but it was bloated and the story was poor after honouring batmans legacy so well in the past. But anything they put out now will make that look like a 10.

I dont really know much about this game, I enjoyed LiS but feel things have moved on since then.
But I dont get why the default is:
*Create fanbase
*Do things with the property the fans dont like or want
*Call them toxic if they dont buy it anyway?

I don’t think people realise what makes die hard a Christmas movie. I was thinking this watching carry on on Netflix, they trying to push it as a Christmas movie but it’s just taking place at Christmas. Die hard has Christmas theming and heavily utilises it, coming home for Christmas, family, Christmas party.
You can’t just say something is Christmas because of the month

I’ve started with PSVR again after a long time, having a blast with drums rock, Jurassic World, played a bit of Kayak, might try before my eyes later today. But metro and aliens are what I’m looking forward to. I haven’t played the 3rd metro game though. Anyone know if it’s needed?

@Champalimo i wish more games made use of the controller. The controller speaker is a big reason i dont want to use headphones for silent hill.

@RBMango I think we are largely on the same if not similar pages.

The sad fact is there was a time when no one would have batted an eye at this, but there has been so much cynical dei that people see this and expect it to be that, whereas Vasquez was an organic story driven choice.

@RBMango I think the problem is decisions like that used to be made in the name of a good story, then over the last few years the decisions have been made for corporate DEI reasons and now its gotten to the point where its hard to tell so people are expecting the worse. We can argue this is tiresome but that expectation has been set by gaming/media which is also tiresome.

People were expecting a bumper month because of the anniversary, 12 arriving, 17 leaving. These are decent quality for me but the maths isnt great as the ones leaving are decent too.

It depends what you mean by watching, I wouldnt just watch others play games, but things like outsidexbox, whatculture gamin, gameranx, all on my youtube when im too busy to game

I used this to stream Jeanne d’Arc yesterday and I was really impressed, I think this is how it’s gonna shine for me. Especially if my boys are already using the ps5

heres hoping ps3 gets added soon as the beta progresses. that would be the main reason for it

There are probably a number of questionable user reviews but a lot of valid points that are allowed to matter when people are making their decisions on their entertainment as well. I dont trust that 8 from the critics either. I've seen how similar some of those reviews are like they have been given a list of points they have to hit (are paid to hit?).

I don’t get what people don’t get, so has bought two studios and closed them both without releasing a title (concord) of course they are suggesting it’s been done to reduce competition. Maybe they thought ms were sniffing around them. I’m not saying it was the intention but it could be seen that way.
