@popey1980 my kids are responsible and wouldn’t spend the money, but doesn’t mean they’ve never asked, micro transactions and loot boxes in kids games is pretty predatory.
So my kids use my PlayStation ID because I found the kids profiles to be an absolute nightmare, so I assume PlayStation would see that as job done, an adult knows that kids are making purchases?
The disclosure of loot boxes before purchase is an interesting rule for those products that like to add them in later.
I’ve not had many issues really other than a little screen tearing, however one of my boys have had the game crash a few times which is terrible on a title that basically discourages saving, and my other fell through an elevator last night before he turned off so hopefully that’s not the progression blocking bug listed here.
Between these going and what sounds like a huge number of plus extra titles due to expire this month I feel like we are either in for a big treat or a big disappointment this month
Man, this game is 150gb what we’re people saying about the ps5 not needing a bigger hard drive because the game will be smaller in size due to efficiency increases?
@CWill97 it’s interesting really, it’s fine to you as you haven’t played the original, on that note surely so should the original story. I disagree nostalgia can only take you so far. The best remakes stay faithful to original on the key beats at the very least and I worry this will change too much.
While I haven’t been one to care about it too much in the past I have come to love 60fps. I wouldn’t care too much if there was no choice but where there is I now have to go for it.
Was pretty disappointed with the first. The lack of real voices cast and, well, any gameplay, really made it poor even for a game aimed at 4 year olds.
@Northern_munkey I guess his point is the only games we have to compare are cross gen and you say they can’t be bothered to optimise. Who is to say they ever will. This is a good result but most cases are as we feared I think. Maybe it’s a good sign for other square Enix products though
I feel like I’m one of the few who is very underwhelmed by gow. The pace just feels so slow and it doesn’t feel as good as the first to me. Still an 8 out of 10 for me, by no means bad, but doesn’t feel game of the year quality to me like Elden ring.
Prob my favourite generation, with things like move, wonder book etc there was still experimentation and innovation. Things have felt a bit too streamline in gaming over the last 2 gen
At the moment I have a preorder of the headset but need to see if some existing games get updates/patches as I don’t think can justify price just for star wars
@Max_the_German that was 100% all it was ever going to be, strip a few weapons and armour, maybe a haircut out the main game , deliver it over a number of weeks as free dlc and see the goodwill roll. However they balls the launch up so much they couldn’t really do that.
@LifeGirl I think the rip off part of it is that Sony won’t commit to what you get. Which is my biggest concern of most plus, “give us your money and we might give you something back”
@Athrum if it’s a smooth 60 I’m excited for that. It was pretty choppy and buggy when first came out so if can get a fast loading smooth experience then I’m in to replay.
It’s very worrying to have a service with no commitment on what will be added/maintained. But Sony have been this way for a while. How is there not even a fixed day for these updates? It’s mental.

This is going to sounds sad but really been wanting to try snowrunner
Re: Stranded Deep PS4 Update Inadvertently Causes Platinum Trophy Domino Effect
While I’m not adverse to taking the odd short cut to a platinum, getting a platinum without really playing the game just seems hollow
Re: New PS5, PS4 Games This Week (19th June to 25th June)
No review for Aliens coming?
Re: PS5's Remote Play Portable Will Allegedly Launch in November
This needs to be able to play the cloud based plus games too to get my interest at least
Re: Play Resident Evil 4 from a New Perspective with Free PSVR2 DLC
Will we be allowed to earn trophies this time?
Re: Final Fantasy 16 Will Get a PS5 Demo Which Lasts a Couple of Hours Prior to Launch
You’d think devs would look at June and go “nah, let’s take 1-2 months to polish and iron out bugs”

Re: Next Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Patch Is Out Today, Focuses on Bug Fixes
@JAMes-BroWWWn I would say the game was always playable, at least from the day one patch, some of this has been blown up a little

I do use remote plate, but with my iPhone and a razer Kishi, why would I need this?
Re: PlayStation Fans Are Totally Torn Over PS5 Pro
I’m not sure what a pro would bring at this point, we certainly aren’t seeing the most out of the 5 yet and I can’t imagine what the price would be

I thought all the skins were going free anyway?
Re: XCOM with Xenomorphs? Aliens: Dark Descent Tiptoes to PS5, PS4 on 20th June
The lack of sequel to alien isolation has made me not pay attention to this in the build up but honestly this looks like it could be good.
Re: Kart Racer Disney Speedstorm Drifts into Early Access on PS5, PS4 Next Month
Wow, paying extra to test it, Disney are on to something here. Now they just got to figure out how to get us to pay them to build it for them too.

Re: XCOM Director Breaks Hearts, Confirms No New Titles Currently in Development
I wish Xcom2 had gone down the terror from the deep route. I get they did something different but I don’t think it quite hit the right spot.
Re: Dark Pictures: Switchback VR Now Out in March, Misses PSVR2 Launch
That’s a shame as this would have been my day 1, best that it’s polished and working right though.

Re: PS Plus Extra, Premium PS5, PS4 Games for January 2023 Announced
@nessisonett probably one game I’ll give a spin
Re: PS Plus Extra Loses 10 PS4 Games in January 2023
@doowoobieguy I mean this is 10 titles, 22 were added this month. Let’s not go crazy.
Re: PS Plus Extra Loses 10 PS4 Games in January 2023
Been meaning to play the council after I really enjoyed the free episode. Better get a move on.

Re: Final Fantasy 1-6 Pixel Remasters Rated for PS4
Whenever I see titles like this I think “would’ve been great on the vita”
Re: The Callisto Protocol (PS5) - Just Like Dead Space, for Better and Worse

Re: Future DC Games Will Connect to the DCEU, Confirms James Gunn
Maybe some games but seems quite limiting. I’d rather the games be based on the comics.
Re: The Witcher 3 PS5 Adds that Weird Nilfgaard Armour from the Netflix Show
I don’t mind the Netflix stuff as options, the show was good but the games better, they shouldn’t try and copy the show.
Re: Ys 8 Back on PS Plus Extra After Backend Issues Are Solved
I don’t even slightly believe the back end issue excuse, more like hoped to get away with it but got caught.

Re: PS Plus Premium Members Bemused by Sony Once Again
@Robinsad side note, this is a great month for content, ps3 support is what I’m looking for, but it doesn’t change my views on their tactics.

Re: PS Plus Premium Gets Five Ratchet & Clank Games on 15th November
We’re these not there already? Or did they remove them so could make a fuss out of adding them like sly?
