I don’t get people saying they should just have 2 tiers, that’s exactly what they had before in plus and now. This rebrand has just brought extra attention to how little Sony cares as long as people are paying

@KidBoruto that means they have skipped 50% of months. Can we skip paying and still expect access?
It was obvious this would happen though as Sony refuse to commit to what you actually get for the service.

@Shepherd_Tallon I think what we should be outraged at is you still can’t buy this on ps5 only get it as part of a bundle, little insulting that pc players can buy separately.

It’s very easy to manipulate these figures to give a narrative though. For example do downloads from plus and now count as purchases? As I get emails thanking me for my purchase? Also what’s the split between AAA and digital only games?

We’re most of these not on ps now already? Did they just remove them so can re add them?

@naruball I’m enjoying it but def wouldn’t have bought it, that’s the kind of thing they need to balance out when thinking what could have been.

@QualityGeezer 1 would need to be remade I think. They tried to outsource it for ps3 I think, but it got canned due to poor progress.

Is it counting all the free upgrades as fresh sales?

@naruball it doesn’t have the filler content but has some of the best exclusive content out there. Unfortunately without the ability to want the office for the 100th time it’s hard to justify subscribing for extended periods.

As a ps now subscriber we actually lost a lot of ps3 games to begin with so I don’t think underwhelmed describes it well enough

They really need to step up the classics tier, some ps3 would be nice? Will these be across all regions or Europe gonna miss out on half of em?

Was it only 15 hours, amazing beginning and end but I feel the middle dragged a bit

I enjoy these games, house of ashes was quite fun, glad they are continuing but I get why people would be not too excited

This wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world, but given how expensive it is to get DualShock 3 now, I wish you could use the controllers backwards easier such as a ds4 on a ps3 easily without losing the ps button for example.

Why is this better than ps plus and ps now? We seem to have less games and a more confusing/difficult subscription model.

That’s a lot more than a handful. As a psnow subscriber it feels like I’ve lost a lot more than I’ve gained with this “update”

Can you actually buy Spiderman Remastered on PS5 yet? That is the point that would annoy me with it going to PC if its still only part of the deluxe Miles Morales

It feels like a push towards having to use less legit methods. Other than sd2vita I try to stay away from that sort of thing but it seems like Sony no longer want to do the minimum needed.

I’m going to say agin, I have access to most of these games on my vita already, so the only way I would bother looking at them in ps5 is with trophy support. Vita otherwise is a far better way to experience them for me.

@Enigk I think they could have shuffled the blame to developers, especially if they committed to first party ones having trophies

Whilst it’s expected and fine, I find it funny they are selling the delay as a positive update for the anniversary.

It would have been nice but who would have added them. I assume the save state and rewind are in the emulator so don’t need work on the games.
However without them they lack point to me, I’ll just play them on my vita.

That’s a really small number of ps3 considering what we have now

@BReal I don’t think they can commit to 3 or even 6 months. People would just wait, then it may as well be day 1. I think a more realistic commitment would be any older than 2 years should be on it.

Everyone’s desperate for these tiers to be revealed but surely the reason they haven’t is there could be big differences between regions. Those that already have plus I’m not expecting big differences from the games already up.

If someone buys it I’d want it to be Sony, but seems strange they wouldn’t want tomb raider. That was pretty synonymous with early PlayStation

@Uncharted2007 what a ridiculous comment, best handheld there has been just poorly supported by Sony, as with many other mine still gets used daily.

Same as ever from Sony then, pay more get less.

Expect versus want. I’d love most of those features but we all know Sony and I’m expecting the same psone titles we had on ps3.

@Balosi I don’t know, worked ok for until dawn. Problem is this game isn’t set up to have things outside the standard field of view is it? so might seem a bit bare in VR.

I’m must be one of the few people that don’t care about character creation. I’d rather be given a character to role play as. Good for those that like it I guess.

@MetalGear_Yoshi if they are working on it, could be a year off and they may decide doesn’t work well enough. If they announce would just get pestered for it even more. Look at VRR.

I prob said this last time you did this article but even at the start of PS4 they were going downhill. Unfortunately I think they realised in the ps3 era that if they engage with people they had to clean up when they mess up. But if they don’t people just give up and go away.

I know a lot of people have issue this month but as a parent I love that SpongeBob is included, and I’ve heard good things about slay the spire.

this may be an extreme case but if anyone is continuing to pay for plus so they don’t lose access to ps3 and vita games they previously got and don’t have a modern consoled they could be affected I guess.

Don’t forget we had vita tv so a number of games were already DualShock compatible. More legacy disrespect from Sony.

I’m happy as long as they provide good service for the historic titles, I’d like to see vita games in the service.
Also mobile steaming is needed.
