Are you not entertained? That’s perhaps the question Sony will be posing when it announces July 2021’s PlayStation Now update, which is rumoured to be a star-studded offering. Reddit users spotted an errant Facebook ad – they even screen-recorded the clip, and it certainly looks legit – which reveals Red Dead Redemption 2, Judgment, God of War, Nioh 2, and Moving Out are all poised to join the service next week.
God of War has been included on the streaming service before, but this time it appears to be a permanent addition. Meanwhile, Rockstar’s wild western will be available to download and stream until 1st November, while Judgment will be playable until 4th October. It’s worth noting that this won’t entitle you to the next-gen version of SEGA’s crime saga, as PS Now only supports PS4 games for now. The same is true of Nioh 2.
Nevertheless, this is a huge update if it turns out to be real. There’s also the possibility of other games being quietly added when the service refreshes, as Sony sometimes quietly slips in some lower-profile stuff. Would you be happy with this selection? Let us know in the comments section below.

Maybe this will make up for the lack of Judgement on PC lol
Some lineup, that.
I mean, hey, would be great for the masses despite personally owning all of those. Sounds a bit too good to be true but who knows! Pretty sure my mum would play Red Dead 2 all over again even if it was streamed at 480p on her phone 😂
Sony slowly putting more emphasis on Now? I mean their "answer to Game Pass" is right there after all.
I was thinking Moving Out, but looks like its DLC is $7.50, so not sure I'd want to play an incomplete game or if I value it enough to pay that on top of the subscription.
So that leaves Judgment for me. But, like Yakuza 0, it'll probably be too hard for me to plat. ☹️
Monster month for PS Now if true. Hopefully enough to knock WWE 2K19 out of the top 5 popular games on the service 🤣🤣🤣
Holy crap my “leak” ended up on push square lol
I want to play at least 2-3 of those games so I'd get PS Now for sure to play Judgement and Nioh 2, and RDR2 which I technically own but lent to someone so never played.
If This Real Then You Can Now Play The Entire God Of War Series On PS Now.
Finally Sony preparing for a war against Gamepass. I would gladly subscribe for Judgement before purchasing lost judgement
@Subsided So you technically own RDRII but never played it because you lent to someone and now you're hoping for a PSNow inclusion...
Considering the bluepoint acquisition was apparently fake I'm going to take this with a grain of salt.
Eesh, I bought Judgment less than a week ago, that'd be kind of unfortunate timing. Been having a blast with it, though, so I still wouldn't regret the purchase.
@TheArt Wasn't hoping for it but if it's on there with the other 2 I wanna play then it saves me the trouble of trying to collect my copy
@Subsided hmph was just finding it worrying you bought THE RDRII and gave it out. Nothing more annoying than the trouble of getting your games back from friends when I was a kid, but I'm grown past that now, I lend nothing to nobody.
Wow, they really upping the game with that list if true.
@ATaco it’s not fake Sony isn’t ready to announce it yet.
I’ve been planning to pick up the ps5 version of judgement and now I’m torn. Maybe I just play ps4?
@4kgk2 Bluepoint updated their twitter to specifically announce that they are fully independent. I don't know why they'd do that if they were planning to be acquired by Sony. If this deal is going to happen, it's not going to be anytime soon.
Would be a good month, but I doubt it. This would be the type of month they’d save for a big service reveal, like when expanding to many other countries, adding phone streaming, merging with PS+ etc. I’ve given up hope of that, and Sony like to stretch out any such announcements with hints that haven’t really been forthcoming recently.
Can't see this being real... Sony has been systematically destroying Now, such month would be too good to be true.
@mrtennis1990 ummmm by releasing games that are over a year old is preparing to take on Game Pass?
People here literally astound me. It's almost like they are trying to squeeze lemonade out of a dry lemon. PS Now will never, and I mean, NEVER, be in the same league as Game Pass unless they get day 1 games. By judging on how PS chose to recently market Ghost of Tsushima, that isn't happening anytime soon. PS makes a tank load off of charging for ports, and I expect them to do the same with other titles, much less offering games day 1 on the console.
Just as my year sub runs out they finally start putting some decent games on. Thankfully, for me, I already own the games. But it's a better look for psnow. What's not a good look is the short times popular psnow games are on for. People stress concern with gamepass that games will leave the service...but they never stay for only a month. Where as it's pretty common with Sony, mostly with its first party funnily enough, to have crazy short times on their service. I hope this changes in the future.
@TheArt I lent it to my father lol and that's because I had a big backlog and he really wanted to play it, just haven't bothered getting it back yet
@The_New_Butler their marketing for ps now is truly lacking looking at the amount of quality games they've got on it. Also a plus is the time they're on it as long as that actually proves to be true. There was a game some time back that was supposed to be removed even though though it was supposed to stay on the service forever as well I think, bit fishy that. They did after all lower the price which is a good starting point.
I hate to be “that guy” but, both rdr2 and god of war are great games but I feel like almost all PS4 owners have played them both already. I wish they would go with less famous games Like outer world or big indy hits like cuphead.but still a great month anyway you look at it
@Mayhemlikeme Exactly what I've been thinking. There's so many games they could be giving on the service which will not cost them as much as getting a game of rdr2 's magnitude. It is a game that almost everyone played considering their sales numbers. Games like Cuphead would be an awesome addition to the service
These would be great additions to the service but as others said it's too good to be true given how PS are handling Now!
