Shame they have just given this on the plus thing for ps5. It’s a great aesthetic for them and good for some users but not great for the people who subscribe to services and buy their products.

Does anyone else see listing Dualsense support on a ps5 game the most redundant thing? Obviously developers have seen dualsense is popular but this doesnt mean they've made good use of it. what they've said is "...and you can use your controller to play the game"

such a shame. Hopefully someone else will step up and fill the gap they leave

@VonPit I can’t even play different PS4 games with the same account at the same time so doubt could play the same one unfortunately

@johnvboy The problem is its easy to fly off the handle over one little thing like this but it sets a wider precedence to commerce as a whole and you seem unwilling to look at the bigger picture. Is the use of bots scummy? yes. Should we be allowed to trade our own legally purchased goods on an open market, also yes.

@Woogy argh I hate that in trying to be balanced I seem like I’m falling on the side of scalpers but if he had legally and fairly acquired 2 and someone was willing to give him a bunch of money for one of them, why shouldn’t he be allowed to say “go on , I’ll sell this and go back to the queue for my second one?”

@johnvboy That is more than a dangerous path though. Why shouldn't I as a regular consumer be able to make money off something I have legally bought that has become valuable? I can only liken it really to having both bought and sold comics way above RRP as they value has fluctuated. I feel like some people are bitter because they haven't gotten one. I'm very much for a fight against bots but in no way am I for even more legislation to stop a common person making money.

@johnvboy I’d only agree with not allowing a buy it now price above rrp. If an auction goes above retail why shouldn’t it be allowed?

The truth is probably somewhere between as always. I think if they have bought one or even multi legitimately rather than using a bot and see the opportunity to make money I dont see why not. Did I have half a temptation to sell mine for double when I got it, sure, if someone is willing to pay that.
The problem I see here is they are not in the same game as everyone else, and thats what makes it scummy.

@Deadhunter unfortunately I had similar experiences, even earlier dungeons group members expect you to be perfect at the game even if it’s your first dungeon

I don’t think bigger is always better. Vii felt spot on for me and I have concerns already about this game going back to the bad ok days of 4, 5 and 6

My perspective is if Sony aren’t willing to support ps5 then who will. First party from 2020 at least should have had native releases by now.

Is there a review for this yet? Curious as to if its actually good.

@suikoden even if you said 100,000 were with scalpers, and I doubt that, it’s a tiny number. I get it’s frustrating seeing the news stories if you are trying to get one but there is nothing strange here.

I played a bit more of blood and truth this weekend and was really impressed at the improvements. I assumed it was the vr tech holding it back more than the PS4 so it’s such a shame we can’t get native ps5 vr

I mean if it isn’t a native ps5 release then it’s not full support is it? It’s great news and all, the game already looked amazing, but why overhype something?

Id love to see a game that claims to be not quite as good as previous entries in a series.

@DerMeister there are like 5 million consoles out there. Even if 100,000 are in the hands of scalpers, which I doubt, that barely makes an impact.

For me maybe 3 months is launch window. We would at least need a date by now if it was launch window.

I have way more crashes with remastered but had a couple with miles morales. But apparently I’m making it up be cause this isn’t cyberpunk.

I think potentially the only sad thing is we prob won’t now get that in the future but good for Japan.

@Col_McCafferty Even beyond the sale, people could have purchased months ago, the PS5 version was delayed but people cant get their money back because they were given the ps4 version.

@Tasuki can you tell me how many times you preordered a game, it was announced for plus before it came out, and you weren’t allowed to cancel the preorder? Because that’s basically this situation.

@CieloAzure I think that’s the point people are missing, the ps5 game isn’t out yet, I was tempted in the sale as I though the ps5 game was out or imminent, when I realised it wasn’t it put me off. I’m happy I get this but the selling practice has been shady.

@Col_McCafferty I’m not sure it’s the same. It was actively pushed you should get this ultimate edition to get the ps5 edition, although similar this is more akin to preordering something then being told it’s free but you’re not getting your money back.

@RPE83 I get what you are saying, but all you have to do is see the picture of Luke with his face crossed out in the background of interviews to realise they had an agenda.
Personally no issue with the diversity of the characters in the new films. Rey could have been something really special. Seeing the number of little girls dressed up as her in Disney World was heartwarming. But they did her and the rest of the characters a disservice by not giving the character development and story arcs they needed. So yes she is bad, but pushing Agendas over storyline and thinking that is enough is a big reason why. Thinking the best way to escalate your own characters is by destroying established ones is another reason.

@Octane kk won’t step down, she decided if she can’t destroy Star Wars from a sequel perspective she’ll get out ahead and do it with the high republic.
The irony of all this is she was hired by Lucas to try and keep Star Wars on track after he sold it to Disney.

@fR_eeBritney from what I’ve read it wasn’t necessarily the backlash but the fact the Trevorrow wouldn’t bend the knee to KKs anti Luke agenda. I don’t know if his script would have turned into a good movie, it sounded a bit dark, but the main problem with the trilogy is its lack of cohesion. No movie is going anywhere, no character has a journey, and that all comes from the leadership.

I’m not really sure why sections like this wouldn’t be automated? Sony decisions are often baffling.

Hope this is good. My worry is the Lego games have become more and more bloated with unneccessary open world filler. Lego Movie 2 was a misstep for me as they made it far too complicated for my little one despite him clearing plenty of Lego games previous.

They haven't touched the old republic era yet have they? So shouldnt really need retooling for canon. That statement itself worries me if it lets KK get her hands on it.

@WizzNL Miles morales is fine, the remaster of the original is still console wrecking far worse than the inconvenient crashing on cyberpunk.

This could have all been an elaborate ploy to get more eyes on the free to play announcement. Something doesn’t feel quite right about this reversal.

And cyberpunk is barely a month old, Spider-Man is 2 months.

@WizzNL I bought I think this week and had 3 hard crashes in an hour of play that made my ps5 unresponsive. It’s not fixed.

With a few soft crashes you give this 3/10, Spider-Man remastered you gave 9/10 despite hard crashes potentially bricking peoples consoles. CDPR are trying to fix their game, insomniac aren’t. Consistency?

Whilst not excusing cyberpunk, having just got Spider-Man remastered I can’t believe the free pass that has basically had in comparison. I played for maybe an hour and had 3 hard system crashes with no sign of a fix. And that’s first party.

I mean this is probably an unpopular opinion but for me 4 was the start of the decline that only recovered with 7.

It was fun, my kids loved it, sometimes I thought the tone was a bit off when the game seemed aimed at younger gamers but was fine
