I feel like I’m one of the few who is very underwhelmed by gow. The pace just feels so slow and it doesn’t feel as good as the first to me. Still an 8 out of 10 for me, by no means bad, but doesn’t feel game of the year quality to me like Elden ring.

Maybe some games but seems quite limiting. I’d rather the games be based on the comics.

I don’t mind the Netflix stuff as options, the show was good but the games better, they shouldn’t try and copy the show.

I don’t even slightly believe the back end issue excuse, more like hoped to get away with it but got caught.

@Uncharted2007 I regret every trade in I’ve ever done lol, man I wish I still had my GameCube.

Prob my favourite generation, with things like move, wonder book etc there was still experimentation and innovation. Things have felt a bit too streamline in gaming over the last 2 gen

At the moment I have a preorder of the headset but need to see if some existing games get updates/patches as I don’t think can justify price just for star wars

@Max_the_German that was 100% all it was ever going to be, strip a few weapons and armour, maybe a haircut out the main game , deliver it over a number of weeks as free dlc and see the goodwill roll. However they balls the launch up so much they couldn’t really do that.

@LifeGirl I think the rip off part of it is that Sony won’t commit to what you get. Which is my biggest concern of most plus, “give us your money and we might give you something back”

@KaijuKaiser with dead space being remade does that mean it was a waste playing on ps3

@Athrum if it’s a smooth 60 I’m excited for that. It was pretty choppy and buggy when first came out so if can get a fast loading smooth experience then I’m in to replay.

@Robinsad side note, this is a great month for content, ps3 support is what I’m looking for, but it doesn’t change my views on their tactics.

It’s very worrying to have a service with no commitment on what will be added/maintained. But Sony have been this way for a while. How is there not even a fixed day for these updates? It’s mental.

@RobN fully agree, I expect I’ll love it but doubt it will be a 10 for me, but who cares?

We’re these not there already? Or did they remove them so could make a fuss out of adding them like sly?

If it’s not Geralt it’s not really the Witcher for me.

They’ll prob end up on regular ps plus in December.

I would love this but the price is too high to gamble that there will be enough games to justify. I love VR 1 but neck injury often ends up a problem with the weight of it that I don’t use enough to say that’s a good price.

All the content on this this week has made me bite the bullet and pre order. It’s looking great.

It’s not like the game is being shut down, ideally when a game comes out it needs no support, at least you know what you are getting with this.

@Ralizah the second one still looks gorgeous on a good pc I think, just needs a rerelease on consoles

I’m interested in Quantic dream trying Star Wars but really not interested in the “high republic” setting. Tough one.

@Fenbops well Sony charge for upgrades, Microsoft give them free. So charging must be the right option.

I couldn’t get into fallout 4, Been a big fan since the first one but it just didn’t feel like fallout anymore

God forbid the consumer wants to plan, wouldn’t want the company to commit to what they are selling you.

Quality of the game is most important but when I have the choice of slightly better graphics and 60fps I pick 60. And to be honest, looking at the games that have been able to hit 60fps the only excuse seems to be either a lack of talent or lack of effort.

Kept meaning to have a go a least, anyone know if it’s even got a story mode to blast through?

@Juanalf that’s surely the point of plus though isn’t it? The only negative I’d give is it’s very late to the party for it. However I got the dlc for a fiver in the sale so no complaints

I think it’s a shame as a little success may have helped push the tech forward. That said, as with many others I want to own what I buy, and even though it’s consumer friendly to refund it’s a travesty that this all just disappears and a stark reminder as to why to stay away from this kind of thing.

Gameplay is potentially a little better in 2 given tech advances but story and impact of 1 is far far better

The bottom line is, lack of backwards compatibility put me off getting it day one, prob will for a lot of people too.

@thefourfoldroot1 well if the PSVR 2 is compatible with PSVR games then it lowers the barrier for entry. And I’m sure Sony could have an emulation mode on the device so it’s not down to devs to pulsate them. What I think is key is they should announce one way or another. It was a mistake for Sony to allow so much speculation on ps3 backwards compatibility with the ps5 when one comment could have clarified it early.

Have they announced backwards compatibility on games for this?

@tameshiyaku maybe those of us with a longer memory remember Witcher 3 wasn’t in the best condition at launch. Or Witcher 2 launch was a bit of a train wreck. I didn’t have the first from launch but believe it took the enhanced edition to get it decent. Don’t get me wrong they’ve always made it right in the end but don’t have the best track record.

For me a Witcher game needs to be about Geralt, if it’s not it may well lose me.

I love football manager but can’t imagine playing on a console. More on my laptop whilst also console gaming

@Smash41 I remember the early days of plus where the eu update was the first Wednesday of the month but the US one was the first Tuesday, that was until Wednesday was the first of the month and we were told we had to wait till after the Americans. The outrage that month.
