Re: PS4 Exclusive God of War Releasing on PC in January

I'm very pleased to see Sony's strong commitment to the PC market through offering extensive features and options for their ports, and God of War's listed features show that Sony has definitely come a long way since the somewhat hampered launch of Horizon Zero Dawn's PC port. I definitely look forward to replaying this great game again on much more powerful hardware this time round, and experiencing it like new.

@Juanalf Don't worry not all of us have PCs of that calibre (I do of course but that's another matter ;P), but I'm glad that we've moved on from the exclusives hogging mentalities of the last generation and realize that PlayStation isn't going anywhere as a physical console for a long time yet.

I understand that some people may feel a bit put off by NetEase which is a sentiment I would have shared just 2-3 years ago, but plenty of things have changed and if you think that NE is still in the mindset of getting fast bucks through making mtx-laden mobile trash, then I can assure you that you're very wrong. NetEase does not need to hire someone like Nagoshi to make mobile games, nor would Nagoshi sign up to employment contracts without good ideas being proposed either, however lucrative the terms may be themselves. Both Tencent and NetEase are now entering the core, higher production value end of the gaming market and acquisition of established foreign talents are a big part of that. If anything, this is in turn but a small part of the overall trend in China where exceptionally talented foreigners are being poached to lead development of entire areas of expertise from scratch, be it AAA game development, Olympic sports that China's not known to be good at, or semiconductors. Someone like Nagoshi most certainly won't be hired for trivial projects that are solely aimed at quick bucks.

@Medic_Alert The sports games you mentioned are very important: most of us in the core fanbases tend to assume that an average PlayStation owner is one who buys up all the exclusives and the big AAA multiplats, but the truth of the matter is that many home console owners only buy them to play the latest sports games or CoD, and GamePass which will allow them to play all of these for a small monthly sum while accessing all the latest entries of these sports franchises will entice them hugely.
