@Haruki_NLI it works with HD rumble in Super Mario Party too. Totally confused me at the time as joycons don't have any speakers.

@RubyCarbuncle yep! I got the RYNO in my first playthrough. 100% completed my first run of the game with the gold bolts, spybots, armour and weapons (to lvl 5).
Just challenge mode now!

The Xbox conference noted that the Series X version will get enhanced features, but doubt they will in any way come to PS5 (would love a native PS5 version, but also unlikely now).
But even without said enhancements, the game itself looks amazing!
The 2006 original holds a strong place in my heart, so hopefully Raz's adventure's in this sequel will be just as fun.

i did have a fair share of glitches though!
Rivet's fur texture in a cutscene smeared across the screen when going back to gameplay, so everything looked fluffy... Mrs Zurkon sinking into the ground when I approached so I couldn't buy weapons and ammo... Ratchet's arm disappeared (I initially thought it was part of the story!) and there was a white cube trailing behind me with said arm xD
Most fixable with a quick restart checkpoint (the fur texture thing I had to go out of the game completely)

Downloading now and they say you need 102GB free!
Man EA are bad at optimisation.
Just installed Ratchet & Clank and that was 33-34GB

I purchased and completed it a few months back when the game got a 60fps/1200p patch (presume a boost mode feature) and was for the most part, perfectly happy with that, so I wonder what new things would be on this native PS5 version...
Maybe better streaming in of assets and haptics?

Will play Performance RT on my 1080p projector and then once completed will check out the fidelity on my 4K OLED for Challenge mode (although feel it'll be jarring going from 60 to 30fps).

This is totally gonna be the origin story of Sully's stache I'm telling ya! xD
(in all seriousness, I swear he had an instagram pic with the mustache, so it must pop up at some point!?!)

Literally been finishing up the first game on my PS5 over the last few days (been in my backlog too long!) so this is great timing!

Perfect timing as I just upgraded my TV from 1080 to 4K OLED (Sony A8H).
So to see the game in UHD/60fps should be a visual treat.

Hopefully Insomniac make a dedication. He was an integral part of the R&C series

I only ever played the single player campaign on PS3 waaaaay back in glorious 720p, mid 20fps with tons of aliasing, so may revisit on PS5 if it's boosted up quite a bit graphically etc to look good on my 4K OLED.

The red one looks slick! Damn if only they had black and red plates for the console to match.
These controllers will probably be immediately out of stock for 2 years like the console

If it's more black and red (like Miles Morales suit) than majority red, I'd go for it.
Also would love a rose gold and white Dualsense similar to the rose gold DS4 I have.

I played through TLOU2 to its end, but in my eyes the ending for Ellie was around 1hr before the finale and wouldn't expect her return.

I feel Disney+ needs an overhaul on PS5.
It worked fine at launch, but lately the audio is out of sync (have no issues with other services on PS5) and the subtitles are now suddenly massive taking up like a 3rd of the screen and stretched.
Need options to choose subtitle styles.

Not essential at all though as I can play them on my PS3 and PS4 xD

Currently replaying the trilogy on ps3. Really enjoy the characters, but sadly when it first released and even now the games just don't click with me as well as Ratchet and Clank and the Sly gang did.
Perhaps it's due to sudden shift in tone and difficulty.
Midway through Jak 2 atm and the constant back and forth of missions in the maze of haven city isn't fun.

If a remake like FFVII R, Wondering if they may add storylines from the HBO Show...?? Although doubtful.
Shame it wasn't Uncharted: Drake's Fortune to get the treatment.

I really enjoyed TLOU 1 and 2, but really hoping ND's future IPs are a bit more cheerful!

Awesome news!! Literally playing through the HD collection of the original 3 and gladiator on ps3 as well as Tools of Destruction/Quest for Booty/Crack in Time/Into the Nexus in anticipation of Rift Apart.
So will boot this up as well to play in 60fps 👍

I literally just repurchased a ps3 a few days ago purely because I found my Ratchet, Sly, Jak and Daxter, Tomb Raider and God of War HD collections in the attic... So although it would be awesome to have ps3 emulation for my PS5, I don't think I'd use it.
(I'd also be skeptical of the emulation quality itself after hearing Jak is a bit dodgy on ps4)

Still have my PS2 as well, so I'm covered playing all the PS home consoles natively.

Now if they emulated and upscaled PSP and Vita games I'd be interested

This has totally happened to me too!
I used to be someone who'd say how I coped with 15fps N64 games and survived perfectly well so quit complaining... But now! After playing so many 60fps games on PS5, Its tough going back.

For example I booted up FFVII remake after playing Jedi Fallen Order and the drop to 30 looked so juddery at first.

I even got Crash 4 and Immortals Fenyx Rising on PS5 over Switch purely because of the 60fps. (was shocked with myself that I prioritised framerate over the convenience of portability!)

Totally misread the headline at first and thought for a second that a "Suite Life of Zack and Cody" game was releasing after all these years xD

I love 3D platformers (come from the N64/PS1 and PS2/GC era) but sadly for me this game just didn't click. Something about the floaty movement felt wrong to me.

I'll use this news of the 60fps patch and DLC as a reason to try again and hope I suddenly get hooked.

Really enjoyed LiS 1 and Before The Storm, so looking forward to seeing what 3 will be about.

Also for Tomb Raider... Pleeeease release a collection (OG PS1 games and the Keeley Hawes trilogy)... Not asking for alot

Would love for Ratchet and Clank PS4 to get a 60fps patch (practically all previous R&C games were 60fps so it's deserved) and replay before Rift Apart releases.

Ratchet and Clank is my fave franchise of all time, so of course would love for Rift Apart to remain set for launch window... But given the continued global situation, I'd expect it's pushed back a bit.
I'll be patient! No rush!

(plus got all these PS4 backlog games that now run better on PS5 to still get through!)

Insomniac spoiled us with the 1080p/60 with Ray Tracing modes. I know Control is more heavy with the physics and is taxing, but kinda wish Control had that option.
I'll flip between the 2 modes. Likely will choose the performance mode.

Keeley Hawes was my favourite Lara Croft! Bring her back!

I did like the reboot trilogy (Shadow surprisingly was my fave in terms of gameplay with more puzzle solving and exploration and less waves of enemies gunplay... story was a bit of a mess though!)
Very Intrigued what the new game will bring.
And it seems to be Crystal Dynamics and not Eidos Montreal! Thought CD would be still in deep with Avengers.... maybe not!

Such a shame the PS5 version doesn't work in VR. Would love for the PS4 version to get tweaks like Blood and Truth did to take at least some advantages of the PS5.

I was going to buy Control on PS5, but this is great no matter what version.

I was extremely lucky. Was refreshing preorders at Smyths. Managed to lock one in, but when I put in all my card details it kicked me out, so I gave up.... and then a few mins later I received an email confirmation. Was so shocked!

That's insane! Mine arrived literally around 5mins after my PS5 arrived on launch day (DPD had the PS5, Royal Mail posted adapter).
Even a friend of mine who doesn't even have a PS5 but registered his headset to futureproof himself got his a few days after launch! Awks
