Here’s an Easter egg that you may have missed – especially if you wear headphones. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart’s unlockable Pixelizer HD weapon plays a funky tune through the DualSense controller’s haptic feedback when you charge it up – turn your speakers up and check out the video embedded below for a demonstration.
It’s important to note that this music – a Doctor Nefarious theme, we believe – is not coming through the controller’s speaker, but is using its haptic feedback. Obviously if you’re holding the device while charging up, then you’ll “feel” the song. It’s pretty impressive stuff, and another demonstration of the power of the PlayStation 5’s pad.

My Pixeliser doesn’t have a charge mode. Does it unlock later when you level up the weapon?
@Angelus3K yep ! At level 5 you get the charging upgrade
Love this game!
Reminds me of the 'singing roads' that can be found in various places around the world. Japan has several, but the best I've heard is this one in Hungary...

The RYNO V tune that plays in Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time 1812 Overture will always be my favourite.
Nice little gimmick!
A new patch for the game was released yesterday as well.
What, haptic feedback can play music?
This surprises Kirby (2018) immensely. Immensely I say!
I didn't know this because I played the whole game to completion with headphones on. That's pretty cool though.
Love this game. I’m cracking up right now watching my 8-year-daughter play. She’s not into video games but she loves this game. She talks to it the whole time and it’s hilarious!
Do I need to send Mark Cerny a picture of my ear to unlock this feature?
Man dualsense is awesome, it's the most next-gen thing about ps5 😃
The nightclub is very impressive ,hopefully this feature is more utilised
@Haruki_NLI it works with HD rumble in Super Mario Party too. Totally confused me at the time as joycons don't have any speakers.
May be considered gimmicky, but I think it's pretty neat. Hearing the pixeliser do that was cool.
great game... just finished this .. 10/10 no question it's smooth, visually stunning, story's great, voice acting is great... no downside to this gem
Noticed that when I started Challenge run. Very cool.
