A live-action advertisement for PlayStation Plus? Sony really is giving its premier subscription service the marketing budget and then some at the moment. It's not going to tell hardcore folk like us lot anything we don't already know, but the advert focuses on the sort of multiplayer action a membership provides (or locks behind a paywall, whichever way you look at it). Two women battle it out throughout the ad across competitions clearly inspired by the likes of FIFA 21, Call of Duty: Warzone, and Red Dead Online.
The advertisement was dropped alongside the announcement that the Days of Play community event will be returning for 2021, which will at some point later this month feature a free online multiplayer weekend.
