Thanks to Sony giving away Ratchet & Clank, I finally experienced the series for the first time (on PS5 no less) and I really enjoyed it. I'll definitely pick this one up.

This looks incredible, can't wait to play it. Sony may have their faults but they certainly deliver high quality games.

Game looks fantastic and will undoubtably become PS5's biggest true exclusive. Hopefully it's a massive success and will convince Sony to drop cross-gen for major upcoming titles so we can get more games that showcase the PS5's strengths like this.

Looks very promising. I'm really surprised no one has mentioned the very clear Sunset Overdrive influence on some of the gameplay. I also really like the name Rivet.

I’ve gotta say, this looks phenomenal. I’m playing through Ratchet and Clank on PS4 Pro at the moment and I’m having a blast, but this... this looks absolutely incredible. I really do need to get my hands on a PS5 sharpish!

Used to love them, but haven't played one since A Crack in Time, which to be honest bored me.

At this moment in time, as pretty as it is, this isn't a must-play for me. I downloaded the PS4 're-imagining' (or whatever it was) of the original, but I've yet to play it. When I do, I'll see if it rekindles any of my past love for the games. If so, maybe I'll look at getting a PS5 before Forbidden West.

Having been an x box man all my life and having made the decision to go with PS5 too for the first time I’ve got to say what with this and Returnal in the space of the next 5 weeks or so my decision has already been vindicated.

Having just got the platinum for the PS4 reboot, I’m gutted the series passed me by on previous gens.

It also seems weird to see Dr Nefarious looking like that in the trailer after they changed his character model for the reboot.

Just saw a comment on the YT vid, what if Rivet's Nefarious is actually Courtney Gears!?
That would be such a great call back to R&C3.

So long as there is still plenty of box smashing. That is the most satisfying mechanic of the game. I love the sound of the bolts being collected.

Nah, didn't enjoy this. Wasn't impressed by this or the PS4 game that was probably the most average game I've played in years.

Looks fantastic. Not so different from the past, but that's not a bad thing as that's some of the most fun I had all last gen. This is the one reason I have a PS5. I should probably have another reason....but this one will do. The one time Sony gets my $70. If they do Sly, Gravity Rush, or a J&D that's more like 1, they'll have it again.

I never would have given this game a second thought, but after having played the PS4 game recently on ps5 (free via Sony, 60fps, having never played it before) I shall definitely be getting it.

Nothing negative to say, it just looks fantastic. Insomniac is one of if not the studio I trust the most from Sony, they make nothing but high quality games and they have a giant portfolio of said games to prove it.

Really? The gameplay elements for Ratchet & Clank have been in place for over 23 years, if anything Sunset Overdrive had a very clear Ratchet & Clank influence in its gameplay!

Back to the game. This looks amazing and the graphics are off the scale. The HDR on this is going to look superb. Absolutely, definitely a day one release for me...

So heres the thing for me. I've said it in the past that "£70 is to much for a game and I wouldn't be paying it to get the game at launch" and to some degree i still stand by that. But, this looks amazing, as I knew it would and I've just preordered it. The reason why is because of Sony's 'play at home' give away. I picked up 2 or 3 game from that which I didn't have and as a thank you back to Sony for the money saved on them and in support of insomniac, I'm quite happy to pay the £70 this time. So thank you Sony for the gifts 👍🏻

@KayOL77 I never buy games full price. I'm a grown adult with kids and commitments. I'm not going to spend £70 (which is a lot of money!) on a video game. It's nothing personal. I'm just never desperate enough to play something as soon as it comes out. I'm sure the studio behind R&C earn quite a bit more money than I do, so I won't feel too bad about it.

Dangit...my june was already loaded with releases and i had to cancel this one then but after seeing this, my wallet is just gonna take an utter beating in june.

With each re-watch it is still nearly impossible to get the scale of the worlds, I'm looking into the distance and all i can see is incredile detail, (and things going on, way over there!)
Replaying the upgraded play@home PS4 version and stunning though it is, this is just crazy.
This is WHY I got the PS5, and will replay it to death, worth the money
