As much as I really enjoyed The Last of Us I and II, I'd love it if ND's next title was cheerful and upbeat.
Kinda feel it's needed when the real world has been very dark lately.
Why I'm looking forward to Insomniac's Spidey and Ratchet and Clank, plus Ember Lab's Kena: Bridge of Spirits too on PS5. There's an air of vibrancy and optimism about them.

The demo was great! So definitely wanting to play the full title.
Was it just me or did his movement seem really slow in the trailer? It was WAY faster, playing the demo in the headset.

Already have Rise of the Tomb Raider and Erica.
Rise is good.
Erica was a bit of a disappointment.

No interest in NBA 2K20.
No matter! I've got a huge backlog to get through still during lockdown.

That's a shame for any potential PS5 games.
Ready at Dawn made great PSP titles. Kinda was holding out that they may be given option to make a Jak & Daxter 4.

But suspect the game will be riddled with microtransactions, so nope for me!

As someone who works in post production, it was interesting to see every so often "TGA" (targa files) would appear overlaying the mp4 video. i'm guessing QC fixes for those particular frames.

Honestly thought this would be releasing around Q2 2020, so this makes absolutely no difference for me.

The only thing that I am contemplating now is if the PS5 releases in late 2020 and is fully BC with PS4 titles, should I hold off from buying TLOU2 day 1 and wait to play it on the next gen console? Whether that be via BC or a potential "Remastered/Definitive Edition" PS5 version.

I'm sure the game will play fine on PS4, but i'm starting to feel my base console is slowly showing its age a tad with these end of gen titles pushing the console to its limits.

Really happy to know to know that my PSVR headset will be compatible with PS5 (although curious to know if we'd still need the breakout box??).

BUT if they release a PSVR 2 at the same time as PS5 with a higher resolution screen, I can imagine I will jump on that.

Purchased the Croft Edition in the PSN January sale and currently midway through the campaign. So i'm happy there's more content coming whilst my interest continues @get2sammyb
... Although i suspect that to change when KH3 releases in 2 weeks time. Waited half my life (Literally) for that!

Had a PSVR headset since launch and admittedly it was a bit of a slow build for me. Rarely used it for months at a time initially.
But now it's on a roll and I've got a whole variety of games (I Expect You To Die, Skyrim VR, Sprint Vector, Firewall, Astro Bot, Wipeout to name a few).
Definitely worth getting now. Especially at the cheaper price point!

Looks fantastic! Adored the original PS2 game back in the day.
Just super worried that the whole Starbreeze fiasco is going to cause issues.
May be wrong, but I heard that they invested 40% of the development funding. Hopefully Double Fine can find a new publisher if needed.

I have relatives that are deaf and they can't enjoy the game to its fullest because of the lack of subtitles.
They don't know what is being said in the cutscenes and despite their awesome ability to lip read well, it's a lot harder to read from an animated dragons mouth.

This should be an industry standard.
I work for Europe's largest TV distribution company and the creation of subtitles/closed captions is a mandatory requirement from production companies.
It's not like Activision is a tiny company with limited resources.

@get2sammyb is the camera movement more or less the same as in the Playroom VR robot rescue?

For some reason that little demo is one of the only PSVR games that made me feel motion sick.
I think it was because the camera slowly moved forward as i was looking around whilst still stationary, and it made my mind freak out from the disconnect.
Hopefully I've grown immune from it after extensive VR time on other games.

It's gotta have Harry Potter & the Philosophers Stone or no dice! 😜😜
I'm all for nostalgia, but I've still got my PS2 working seamlessly to play all my PS1 games so might give this a miss.

Insomniac should just replace it with pun movie titles based on their previous games like Ratchet & Clank & Resistance.
They're both Sony properties so shouldn't be any red tape.
Drawing a blank though on what puns they could do!!

At this moment i'm SO glad I got Spidey instead!
I've enjoyed the gameplay in the Tomb Raider reboot and sequel, but agree the voice acting is weird! #BringBackKeeleyHawes. Totally believe like you that Shadow will likely go on sale very quickly.

OK, Sony has insane confidence in this game! The marketing hype (& budget) surrounding this is unprecedented!
Do we even need the reviews tomorrow to tell us this is gonna be epic?
Have a feeling this is going to be Sony's best & fastest selling first party IP to date.

Awkward moment when 2 of the 3 big September games... Spiderman & Shadow of the Tomb Raider... go gold way ahead of schedule, yet the lil purple dragon unfortunately appears to be trailing behind.

I know it's treason to talk Switch on a PlayStation site, but i do wonder if RAGE 2 will be the first game from Bethesda (and big AAA 3rd party - not counting the likes of EA's Fifa 18) that will be same day release for the Ninty console as well as PS4 and Xbox One??... if of course it comes to the hybrid console at all!

@get2sammyb seeing as Microsoft has released the trailer early, could this mean it'll be further shown during their E3 conference rather than at PlayStation's!?

To be fair PlayStation has so many titles they can talk about at E3, Spidey, Spyro, Last of Us II, Days Gone, Dreams, and unannounced titles too, so it's no biggie.

@Toadie totally understand the feeling of being overwhelmed by all the games. It's just hit after hit!! And September for example is scaring me now with Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Spider-Man and Spyro all within 2 weeks of each other 😱

Watching the gameplay videos of this it totally reminds me of Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis on ps2... Not that I'm complaining because I absolutely adored that game... This will be an instant purchase from me

Was honestly nervous that it'd get the Vita treatment when getting my launch day headset but they have pleasantly surprised me... I've got a hefty backlog of VR games to play, including Sprint Vector, Statik and Knockout League I got just this week alone.
And now Wipeout is on the list.

Waited 2 hours to find a match and still nothing happened, so went back to going through my backlog of other PS4 games.

@Bad-MuthaAdebisi although a vastly different era, remember that the multiplayer for Goldeneye N64 was a last minute add on, done in less than a month and yet revolutionized the industry.
As NomNom says, Naughty Dog have pedigree (pun intended) with multiplayer with their prior ganes, so it's in good hands,

If you check Insomniacs twitter page they say that R&C PS4 will NOT be at GDC but they will be there to discuss the production of Sunset Overdrive. Awkward!!
However I do have a feeling though that R&C will be officially unveiled shortly afterwards. FIngers crossed!
The series was stunning on PS2 and Pixar-like on PS3 so what they can accomplish on PS4 will no doubt be amazing!

@BLPs Insomniac has said it's coming in 2015 but to ignore rumours that it is a spring release, I also tweeted them personally and they said information for the Ratchet & Clank re-imagining will be given "Soon enough".
So I am guessing at the earliest a June/July release.

Was going to buy the PlayStation Christmas jumper as it looks awesome but it's made out of 100% acrylic!! Doesn't sound comfortable in the slightest

As a KH fan since the original in 2001, I was really looking forward to re-playing II and BBS again, but unfortunately my PS3 decided to get the yellow light of death a few weeks ago and so I moved onto PS4. Hopefully they'll release the collection on that as well some point soon
