Is there going to be a native PS5 version as well as the BC version upgraded?
Was going to buy the ultimate edition on PS4 and then wait to play on my PS5 (feel my base PS4 console is on it's knees).

Also crazy that I had no interest in this game until I played the 10min trial through Nintendo Switch's cloud version! xD

@get2sammyb I was thinking the same as PSVR isn't native to PS5...
BUT isn't Wipeout in VR at 4K resolution and then supersampled in the 1080p headset?
If EA could give us that, that would be great!

Very nervous as I've just bought an AV receiver with HDMI 2.1, but concerned it might not work with PS5 as reports say there's a chip bug (will be doubly awks as my one is a Sony receiver)

I know this is consumer unfriendly to say, but I am so glad to know for sure this is exclusive to PS5.

Rift Apart was one of the main draws for me to pre-order the PS5, and I would have held back if it was cross gen.
Looking forward to see how Insomniac utilises the full capabilities of the console.

Does boost mode for PSVR titles limit to PS4 Pro quality only?... Not higher?

Does the PS5 allow for older HDMI cables to be used??
(my projector for example is only 1.4)

Very disappointed in this as one of main reasons I've preordered a PS5 was to see how improved it would be over my base PS4 with LOD etc etc .
My question, will the boost mode only go up to PS4 Pro level??
Not even further with the PS5's extra power?

Coming from a base ps4 owner, very much looking forward to seeing what PSVR games look like on PS5 as lots of people have told me the jump from base to pro was substantial.
Despite the screen being only 1080p, hoping more supersampling will make the image cleaner.

Just waiting for someone to add the "eliminated" screen from Fall Guys when the person falls through the ice xD

Really wish Dan Trachtenberg (10 Cloverfield Lane, The Boys) was still at the helm as director. He was a fan of the games too!
But as we know he had a conflict with Sony on where they wanted to go with this film

Still on the fence whether or not I should get this at launch for my PS5. (already got MM: Spiderman Ultimate Edition and Planet Coaster coming).

I've not tried the new gameplay loop that started with Origins and then Odyssey and would like to try it. The time period interests me also as King Alfred was a period I studied 1st year at uni... But then again I've bought so many from the franchise and still not finished them and this could just end up on the pile as well.
Out of the ones I have, AC2, Brotherhood, AC3, Black Flag, Rogue and Syndicate. I've only ever finished AC2

Was going to be a little annoyed there and cancel my PS5 copy preorder if it was £10 more expensive for no reason. But just checked and thankfully the PS4 and PS5 copies are same price!

The game looks nice, and as a history grad who studied in King Alfred's home city , the historical accuracies interests me.

However, watching the trailer, I felt I could see the gameplay loop pretty easily of taking over battlements over and over again (reminding me of Far Cry 4)
Haven't played AC since Syndicate (which bored me due to repetition), so not sure if Origins and Odyssey have that same loop of taking over regions...?

Just waiting for Smyths to tell me my order cannot be fulfilled or delayed.
Been constantly checking my emails across the weekend and into this week since "securing" a console on Friday last week.

Ordered my games separately with The Game Collection. So potentially a slightly depressing 19th Nov just having Miles Morales and Planet Coaster (if a launch title) arriving with no PS5 to play on.
(But in all honesty not the end of the world, considering all the shizzle going on in the wider world!)

@KathyQ it's listed as £35 in most retailers I've seen online.
Very glad it's not a full £60-70 price tag!

Looking forward to playing this on PS5 when I eventually can secure a console!
If there was a free upgrade from PS4, I would have got that version, but the devs haven't said anything to suggest it.

Thankfully Frontier's older title RCT3 is coming to Switch tomorrow to tide me over until then

From memory, pretty sure GAME refunded me a fiver to "cover" the limited edition squid amiibo and just gave the other 2 separately.
Haven't bought from them since! Zero trust.

Never played Minecraft before, but the idea of building stuff in VR with the sense of scale certainly makes it enticing to buy.

Hoping in the future, PS5 games like Planet Coaster also get VR updates. Would be super cool to wander around a virtual theme park made by yourself.

If the upgrade is free, but my save is gone, annoying yes, but as I 100% platinumed it already, i'm fine playing again from scratch.

The site makes it look like there's still stock. I created an account and everything and then when it got to the final bit it just said sorry the PS5 is out of stock.

That's my unusual dream game to come to the system. And I think it'd suit VR so well!

Cute lil game, played it on Switch. Lots of charm albeit very easy. Very kid friendly.
Got it physical at Switch launch for £20, so £35 is a tad too much for PS4.

Grew up on Theme Park/Theme Park World on PS1/PS2 and RCT 1-3, so I'm extremely excited to play this on PS5!
Used to watch so many videos of people's amazing theme parks on the PC version of Planet Coaster when it launched.

@Flaming_Kaiser I'm sure some industries in the UK reimburse some of your travel costs, but silly me chose to follow my dream and work in the post-production movie business, where they'd never do the sort.

I've managed to save around £3K by no longer commuting into Central London by train anymore and working from home, so some of that will go towards PS5.
Hoping the bluray drive based console won't be above £450... £500 would be my limit.

The game is scheduled for late 2020, so if the PS5 launches in November. It should be close by hopefully.

Very doubtful, but I wonder if they will mention how PSVR titles work through PS5.
My PSVR catalogue is 99% digital, so would love to know if they carry over nice and easy.

I'm likely incorrect, but I feel that Sony's full exclusives are mainly due to them owning those developers (Sucker Punch, Naughty Dog, Insomniac, Santa Monica Studios etc), but to my knowledge they don't IN THE MAIN really lock any 3rd party games behind exclusivity.
I feel timed exclusives is almost worse than full exclusivity, because you can clearly see that Xbox simply paid the devs to stay off Sony's console for a while

I'm just glad Psychonauts 2 hasn't suddenly become an Xbox exclusive (i'm sure that's more to do with it originating on Fig)... But if they make that a timed exclusive for 6 or so months, I'll be a little frustrated to say the least!
