Some people buy many consoles in Japan and sell it in other Asian countries. May be that explains some low sale numbers of physical games. How do I know? Because I’m originally from one of these Asian countries.

It is obvious. Xbox has very weak launch line up games, so Microsoft pays developers to upgrade the last-gen games. Personally won't affect me for now as I am not going to upgrade my TV yet.

@Shigurui there are a lot more user friendly ways if you have poor eyesight. There are accessibility options in every OS these days. You can even mirror your phone on TV. I mean it is a lot worse when you input search using the PS4 on screen keyboard (sitting at least 2-3 feet away).

Don’t care. I’m sure very very few people Have ever used it and the browser is almost always the source of hacking/jailbreak. No wonder they want to remove it. After they sell the console at a loss, the last thing they want is the piracy.

Nice review! Dualsense has USB C? Given 1TB NVME alone cost nearly 200 GBP, not surprising Sony does not include the bigger drive. With the price of SSD coming down, I am sure it will come with a bigger drive in the future. Backward compatibility may not be as good as Xbox yet as Xbox has been doing this for half of the last-gen rather than making new games, so it is understandable.

@Carl-G hey PS plus has been cheaper than ever this year. Consistently below 30 USD, Black Friday or not.

When you release a lot of open world games every year, this is bound to happen. I never buy Ubisoft titles at launch as their price drop very very quickly.

Great move, you don’t need to worry about 2 services Funimation and Crunchyroll. I can pay a bit higher if there is only 1 service. Currently Crunchyroll has more line up and Funimation has more dubbed and less expensive.

For a long time, online gaming is too toxic. There will always be a moron taunting others. I never chat online, i feel and do nothing even if they send immature message after the session. I don't know why some are so worried. I dont think you will be perma ban even if you do something stupid once/ twice. But maybe if you’re a repeated offender in which case you need to reflect on yourself rather than this rule. Unrelated to this, i am more worried about facebook and other social media not taking action against blatant lies and fake news despite 1000s reporting. Freedom of speech is a great word but abused widely.

@GamingFan4Lyf I see. I just tested uncharted 4- 1.33. It is a digital version (US PSN store). It works fine for me. Sorry for your trouble though, not sure what is the problem.

@Kidfried it means the dust gets inside. My Pro is now 1.5 years old, no noise whatever the games. Some first batch has loud noise and it gets exaggerated later.

Some people are here just to whine- keep repeating same old reason - no UI, poor communication blah blah, meanwhile keeping praising gamepass. But never mention Xbox launch with zero new first party game. They talk like they will get all 3rd party games for free if they buy the gamepass while actually except xbox 1st party games, most of the games on gamepass are the same as those on PS now and the latter has much more games. Xbox current first party games don't hold a candle to PS's.The thing is most gamers don't care about UI, they care about games. Yes some care about trophy progess track, blah blah. This might not be at launch but the system is continually evolving. Maybe Sony just uses the same UI as PS4 like Xbox, this might shut up those few whiners. It is funny they keep commenting the same comment in every post here.

@thefourfoldroot at launch, digitals are not double priced. And if it becomes old, it becomes cheaper than physical. I share with my brother, We can share PS plus, games, everything, can play online each other too. This is also very convenient for backwards compatibility with PS5. So digital for me.

@thefourfoldroot being digital, I can share with my friend or siblings. There will be multiplayer update coming soon for GoT. So for me I always buy digital. So I open game, and it only costs half. It is totally fair price if you think you can share your games with one other person officially. (Unofficially more but tidious)

@jbreez00 Aren’t some better than none? The thing is Xbox has zero first party exclusive at launch. Would not call gear tactics new game. Even some games come to PS4, they are still new games. What is weirded about this? This site seems to persuade not to buy PA5 but buy Xbox with a lot of Bethesda acquisition news with their earliest game if exclusive at all would take years.

I agree this is repetitive. The pre-orders are sold out as ordinary gamers don't care about UI. Got a point for details for games though but they will surely come. Some people just want to praise Xbox just because they buy Bethesda. But they have no new first party games at launch at all and use the similar UI as Xbox one.

@Dodoo Rent yes, grocery I don't know. US medical system is complex, The employers usually pay for insurance for a permanent employee, so difficult to compare with different systems of EU. But the rest- all electronics, and others are much cheaper.

I think they go too ambitious with permanent environmental change.

@GADG3Tx87 In a way, this shows game development is more costly and riskier than ever. They make what the fans want and choose the safe route. The films are in this trend for a long time now- sequel, remake and superheroes.

@Bad-MuthaAdebisi the US sale tax rate is from 0-9.4% depending on state. But in most of EU, it is >15%, with very few less than 10% and above. So what is wrong and irrelevant? Afaik, the electronics are always cheaper in the US. The only thing i know more expensive there are mobile and internet bill.

@Bad-MuthaAdebisi US price is exclusive of tax. Then again, it is not just games, everything is more expensive in the UK or EU. I think UK fixed 20% vat is high. Was hoping they would slash to 15-17% in this climate (even if for a year or so)

I find it funny when people said I don't buy PS5 because of the lack of communication. It just sounds like trolling for me. I mean What does Microsoft communicate more than Sony? Microsoft has a lot of money, it is all more amazing they have no new decent exclusive at all in the last 7 years at all. It is the same Forza, gears, halo. And some people including this site are too sensitive about RRP price change, it is only 10 more. But the retailers never sell at RRP price. If you buy digital you can share not just your library, but also the PS + sub with another people.

Never into RPG games. The only RPG I finished was FF X-2 and I spent about 100 hours. Now I can no longer spend a lot of time on games. Can’t even finish open world games these days.

Screw for 10£ more? They usually start at 49£ in stores despite 59 rrp. Maybe now they will sell at 59£.

Gamepass model is not substainable for single player games. Either Microsoft focus on multiplayer games or their single player games quality will definitely go down in the long run.

I think it is for gamepass. That model is only viable with multiplayer games. I personally don't care about this kind of games but want to play avengers for mindless fun but hate the RPG loadout parts.

Unlike others, I have never lost a team match yet. But always lost in grabbing tail match.
