Ghost of Tushima Legends is quite deep and fantastic game. It should be on this list. Haven’t bought single player yet but I am now level 120 with Samurai.

It has improved significantly. Now the gameplay is really nice. I guess the game would be ready by next season as the offline mode is really limited now. I play co-op with my bro (against CPU Man U) and it is currently not available. Even the offline mode is still very limited, how difficult to allow us to play more than 5 min. But I am really excited for the comeback. Never a FIFA fan.

Just tried the racing wheel today with wreckfast, dirt 5 and dirt rally 2. IT is really not easy using it. Maybe I don't have a proper chair. Better to just use the controller.

If successful, that will become a money tree. So they will throw everything and see what sticks. Apart from Fornite, (to some extent PUBG as being the first Royale game, Apex, COD, Genshin impact and fall guys) other free live service games are not doing very well. I hope we got another when Factions 2 launch. Would be nice if given free to all PS plus tier members

I might be the minority or majority. Although I grew up with PS1 and 2, I am not keen to replay the retro games. Remastered is a different matter but I am not even interested in my favourite GTA- vice city despite it being free on PS Now. I don't even replay my childhood best games- Super Mario 3 and Donkey Kong on the Switch. The voice of critics is surely loud, but they might just be the minority. Really would like to know the data from Xbox backward compatible games.

Expect more games like these going forward. They will make higher tiers more attractive by keeping big games for those services. This is the upcoming Xbox Games with Gold- April 2022) - Another Sight, Hue, Outpost Kaloki X, MX vs ATV Alive. Microsoft has been giving rubbish months after months but they are getting away with it as people only care about gp.

The landscape has changed since PS5 launch since last year. Sony has been following Nintendo in terms of first party titles. (Microsoft is not relevant here as only very few would buy their first party anyway given availability on gp). As Sony sell digital version PS5 at a loss, they will try to recoup it and now with new ps plus service, there is even more reason to give little discount to digital versions. I would still buy digital as I can share with my siblings. (If you have ps4 playing friends, you can share extra too).

Only multiplayer heavy games would work for subscription. Story focused games would lose a lot of money if they get released day one on sub.

@Apfelschteiner yes please let me know a few as I couldn’t find any thing interesting to play. Know about Hades but not my cup of tea.

Don’t expect it will be the same as GP. Otherwise you will be disappointed. Microsoft is using the money from their other business which Sony simply don’t have. Then again Microsoft only have a very few first party games since GP launch and some people didn’t notice about it.

Tekken anime films are good. Glad this isn't CGI heavy one like Ghost in a Shell SAC.

Push square often uses 70$ games, blah blah. But that is only for digital. New games/pre-orders (physical disc) can be bought anytime around 50 to 54 GBP here in the UK. Sony sold the digital version console at a loss and thus they are trying to coup the money from their store (which does affect me as I am a digital guy, but on the other hand, you get to share easily with your siblings who live overseas, so I am still happy with digital games). But the price of money for physical discs are not changed for many years now.

This rocks. GOT legends is quite solid. Started playing yesterday. Great PS plus addition.

Seems to be a great game. But not my type as I don't have the patience to learn all the moves, attack patterns etc. I just want to enjoy stories or games with mindless fun even if they are beat/ shoot 'em up.

I like their old EA games challenge everything motto. I am a PES guy but i dont think dropping name would hurt anything. Dont just blame EA here, the greedy FIFA has been found accepting bribe for Qatar world cup and now they want to hold world cup every 2 year.

@tartanross I mean many times in a year in the UK, it was reduced to less than 30GBP. ( or just over 30, you can buy from CD keys all year long).) I am based in the UK but my main PS plus account is the US. Even over 40GBP, you got more than what you paid for in the whole year.

Never into FPS shooter. But I wonder those who buy COD every year, what make you buy it yearly. I know they rinse and repeat the setting (historical, future etc) but personally the gameplay is just basically a minor tweak. Loads of people buy it annually is a surprise to me. Do you guys buy it because most online community are most active in the newest game?

I'll buy this. Bought VR1 and then resold it as I didn't get to play much. Too many cables and aligning with PS camera were kind of a chore.

Free to Play is fine. Fighting games need many people to function for multiplayer. Fighting games used to be more popular but become a bit more niche with the decline of arcade.

@nessisonett No, Shan Chi and Eternal are not released at the same time on Disney+. And I don't think the pandemic status has changed with the Omicron surge. Given the popularity of Marvel films, this is definitely impressive.

Planetside 3!!!

Sony really need a successful FPS game. How about they make free to play planetside? There are games like dreadnaught, eve online but no grounded MMORPG. A few factions competing for territory for days/weeks would be interesting. I am hoping TLOU2 multiplayer is like that.

Bought PS4 version of both a few years back, didnt get to play it. Upgraded on Friday, now already in chapter 8 of uncharted 4. Such a blast!

I much prefer the tight storytelling linear game rather than climb this tower, control this area, upgrade this and that. Not much time to enjoy the vast open worlds especially the boring ones as I grow older.

What kind of idiot think this is because of Sony times exclusives? Time exclusivity is done by all companies. All Xbox fanboys use this as an excuse which is ridiculous. Most of Sony exclusives are either first party or collaborate closely with third party developers. Most timed exclusives are DLC with only a few big games. Almost all the great games throughout last gen are first party. How come it is Sony’s fault most Xbox exclusives last gen didn’t do well? Currently Xbox first party day 1 exclusives are very few and far between (no exclusives until now after ill fated crackdown 3). With more exclusives coming, expect subscription fee go up. And people will then subscribe using other regions. We will see how this will affect games in the long run. Will consoles games model turn into mobile model, low initial cost with tons of in games purchases?

Sony buying Crunchyroll took nearly a year just to get approved. That was very niche anime market where other companies like Netflix produce a lot of anime every year. Lets see how this goes. I am seeing the price of gamepass go up soon.

I don’t think they will include big first party titles day 1. Funny people compares this to gamepass. I mean look at the gap of first party games coming to gamepass. They only release 1 game so far since the Xbox new gen launch. Almost all of new games come day 1 to gamepass are indie games. The other problem is Sony focus a lot on single player story games which wouldn’t make sense to offer free day 1.

Looks great. Hope it has lots of epic action set pieces like in the game.

I don’t care what Messi or Ronaldo looks like. While it has many bugs, the gameplay has potential. Need to be a bit more responsive and faster though

Sony should have bought Konami IPs including PES. They have great legendary franchise but clearly gaming is not their priority business anymore.

They should have just released another seasonal update. This isn’t clearly ready which is obvious with the previous demo, and they just tired to release earlier than FIFA. If it’s released as demo, they wouldn’t feel that much heat. It is never good thing to change engine as it would be buggy. They should give us free or minimal fee season 2022 update. Scrap this one until I it is ready

Of all the things, I don’t need a browser at all. Yeah I know a few people watch pro hub with it, but I am sure the vast majority of people never ever touch it. And the browser is also the reason of jailbreak and security issue. So I don’t think of going to happen.

They are or were never a rival to Naughty Dog. It is just a mere comparison after they released a tomb raider which is similar to Uncharted (in terms of treasure hunting)

Project Eve looks quite similar to Bayonetta and Nier. But the thing is the heroine looks quite out of place to environment and enemies. Sony’s approach to superheroes games are the best. While avengers style team up would be exciting, it would be quite difficult to nail down gameplay wise.

TLOU world has a big potential for multiplayer. In addition to different modes, it wiping be great free roam multiplayer mode with at least 2 factions. Hope they give out free or at least make it free for those who own TLOU 2 and monetise with micro transactions

@SAMTYLER1974 Cinematic Titan?? The predator franchise has never reached that status. The first one is excellent but all subsequent films bombed critically and/or financially.

@Wibbleboy yes I got those PS3 and Vita games too. But never get to play them, so they are just in the library. I am sure most of us got PS plus and stacked when the price is about 20-25 $ as the price dipped to this every year (about the cost of 2 cinema tickets), not to mention I am sharing its benefits with my bro. And looking back this year so far, we already got much more than what we paid. I can only speak for myself, even the so-called weakest month, I have already spent many hours in PVZ game. Sept games if true, Hitman 2 and Overcooked are already known great games and Predator would still give at least a few hours of fun (I know most people wouldn't even think to buy it).

I know it is impossible to make everyone happy but what are some people actually expecting? New AAA games every month for <3$ per month fee? Meanwhile, many Xbox fans are happy with this month game with gold because they haven;t played any of them. Personally, Xbox games with gold line up is not even close to Playstation line up.

Well, it is obvious, with the COVID pandemic and a new engine, even with a year break, they could not make it in time. For being a football game, you can't release it anytime you want, it has to be around the new football season. This is anything but bizarre. That's why they give out free. The truth is PES has strong support in Asia on mobile, can't compete with FIFA in the West due to lack of licensing. At least if they only sell squad update as DLC and with the continuous updates including gameplay, this would save money in the long run, compared to the full-price game every year (just for minimal pacing change and squad).

People not aware of how Xbox game with gold give out rubbish games for a long time now, for them either you subscribe more expensive game pass or you end up with very ***** games with gold. I don’t agree with PS plus this month free games are very bad, PVZ is quite a fun game. Tennis is not bad either.

Add online play feature on PS now, reduce price on PS plus and only gives out not so good games. Another tier for anime as I bought it separately anyway.
