Convenience trumps everything. It is not like those discs last forever, in that sense you don't own it forever. Buying physical means you need to have place to store the, you need to change the disc to play another games etc. People like me who keeps moving usually don't want extra baggage. I have been entirely digital since 2016, and I have over 500 games in my library (including PS plus and some demo). Imagine where would I keep them if they are physical copies.

It is happening. Not just probably. We all know it, you know it. I personally don't care, the game isn't good anyway. But funny you keep mentioning whatever liar Phil said. We all know why their games are released on PlayStation, and Phil and some fans sound like they are doing a favor.

Netflix series was trash. Paul's films can be cheesy but entertaining and thus were successful. Welcome to Raccoon was mostly true to source except may be comical Leon. That probably showed films need some kind of twist and can't just follow games.

So if this game were badly reviewed, haters will rejoice, I told you so. If this game had great reviews, they would accuse reviewers of being woke. If this game didn’t sell (most likely no matter how the reviews turn out), they will keep saying go woke, go broke, blah blah. If this game succeeded, they will mostly stay quiet but still make accusations how gamers feed the agenda.

Many old games on EU list. Both EA 24 and 25 on list. But it seems football/ soccer is not as popular in the US. Maybe Sony should release on Switch 2, where there lots of platforming lovers. Not sure, Mario fans would revolt though. That would be quite a big shock.

At this point, Ubisoft is going to be bought pretty soon. It is just worth over 1 billion. It does own a lot of well known IPs. Sony should consider to buy it but the problem is it's bloated employee size.

I don't want to bring politics on game site but I can't stop feeling pity whenever I see someone comment- 'oh it is the same, you are just being monitored by either US gov or CCP'. They think all gov are the same. A big No, man. No gov is perfect but believe me you haven't experienced the worst. Only then you know the difference, one;y then you would more appreciate your gov which you thought is an utter rubbish. You may think I am exagerrating but some thing, you need to experience to believe it.

As their neighbor, I make this claim with 100% certainty. You know all about US bullying around the world. Their media also say whatever they earn. But how much do you know about China? Prejudice? @themightyant Thats the point. All US companies ties with military are well known. Even if a few kept secret, then they will be revealed sooner or later, due to freedom of journalists. But it is totally untrue in Asia, especially in China. Everything is under control, all are brainwashed in schools and very patriotic to the extreme. A few whistleblowers are sent to camp. So you know most of US and western countries involvement in foreign affairs. China don't do that? They are even worse, a massive bully, supporting dictators. It isn’t just in the news. So yeah proof/ evidence are not reliable in Asia as they can be easily made.

Surprise to see RE6 still selling decently after more than a decade after release. Whatever some people say, RE5 and 6 are still great action horror games. I have had a great time playing together with my brother.

Syphon Filter could be remade or rebooted into a new AAA franchise. Speaking of which, Ubisoft also never makes new Splinter cell dspite the demand. Syphone filter can fill the void left by Splinter cell, James Bond, MGS (although MGS 3 remake is coming)

This site seems to be too excited with every game released by HoYo, up to the point I wonder these articles are either sponsored or there is addiction to these Gacha system? But why aren't there any news/review related to games like Killing Floor 3 (despite a new trailer in TGA) and my hero academia etc.

I watched the trailer. It is actually impressive. FF16 is a great title. Some people just hate for being exclusive and for not being a turn-based.

It is not that simple, those mob don't just hate the games, they want it to fail, hence sprouting hate and resting in every articles. Those who like don't read/ react every article. Even what they say is clearly fake, it does have impact on the general audience, as mob mentality. This has seen in many elections, and even in games happened with TLOU 2. What started as an anger because of a certain character's death, it quickly turns into woke accusation. I played that game there is nothing woke in there. Not just TLOU2, these people accuses wokeness in every games they hate/ want to fail.

It is partly because of word of mouth effect, Wukong games sold decently in the West (also because this game has been hyped for years) But without Chinese players buying 10 million in a week or rating overwhelmingly positive on steam and put in on the top chart and subsequently in the news, I doubt it will be sold that well in the West. Yes these days words of mouth and viral phenomenon are way stronger- look at palworld, helldiver's 2 and even hawk tuah.

I don't like Pushsqaure twisted the fact here. But there is no denying the vocal minority are commenting and reacting in every post related to this game, some of them are racists, some have a beef with Neil re: TLOU, some are disguised Xbox fanboys. They are clearly minority basement dwellers but what they have is time and thus they easily overwhelm any post/article. The nasty immature comments they made overtime drove away the gamers who really have interest in the game and ultimately do have some impact on game sales. This kind, you always see in political news. You will notice how fake commenters litter every post with the same comments, for eg Ukraine war news, election etc..

So people try to spread more positive news. Don't waste your time arguing with those idiots as talking to them is talking to the wall. They would keep dragging you through many irrelevant points. You never have as much time as these trolls. Their hatred is more than a protagonist's look.

@GamingFan4Lyf Disagree. Those that cost 10$ upgrade are for remaster. Not PS5 upgrade fee. All PS5 games if upgraded doesn't cost any. Remasters are much more than upgrade.

Ubisoft's current market value is quite low. The only thing is whoever bought them needs to deal with the bloated company. If Sony can deal with it, they do have some interesting IPs.

@Flaming_Kaiser Disagree. Monetization is almost entirely cosmetics in this game. A few new characters pass are very cheap, single digit. Yes the low player base and thus long matchmaking time is an issue.

Before you guys jumping on live service blah blah; this game, Ubisoft recently killed game and even notorious Concord are good if not great. It is just those who played live service games keep playing the same games. It also has a great impact on general game sales as people keeps playing same thing.

@Nexozi Because that's what a lot of people say in IGN comments. Of course, that does not mean all people. But those who will only play camapign will sub for a month or even tiral. That's not a strange take, a lot of people sub on and off.

I don't understand why some people are so upset by this. It is what it is. Deep inside, you guys know, but when the reality doesn't align with your view, then you guys bring up it does not paint the whole picture, blah blah. No used market included blah blah. Have you guys even been to used games store like CEX, Games in the UK recently? They don't even have many PS5 used discs. They still have more last gen discs than current gen in store. Similarly, there used to be more sales of Physical discs last gen, but now much rarer. Note whether selling more physical or digital does not have any impact on me.

This is just an article to pad out the quiet week. I dont see any problem with this practice. I never buy deluxe edition for early access but purchased a few deluxe for other perks. Those who buy are adults and they make an informed decision. Who are you people to judge how they spend their own money is right or wrong?

Capcom is definitely going to remake this. If you want authentic retro, why do you even care trophy? Personally, these retro games controls and graphics are not holding up and will wait for remake. These retro availability are blown out of proportion. Only a very few people play them for nostalgic reason. I tried to play twisted metal and syphon filter on premium, 2 games i loved so much in the past but the controls are not good enough.

Google online game service folded just in 2-3 years. Google is as big as Microsoft and even they don't want to keep losing such a large amount of money. Yes GP is more successful but regardless what Microsoft says about revenue, the service is surely bleeding money.

I hope they dont change it, and it can remain as a challenge. But at least there is always an option. Back in the day, you would get stuck in the freaking licensing exam of the Driver game and I never got that passed.

Should remake 1 if this one succeeds. Never got past piano puzzle back then. Could not easily check like now back in the day. SH puzzles are more difficult, and intellectual than RE. Then again, finding the secrets and solving the puzzles yourself back in the day can't be compared with anything. Imagine your surprise and sense of achievement when you accidentally found a secret in mario 3.

Ubi will either have to come back or get bought by someone after series of high profile failures. I think Xdefiants and Concord are not bad games, but the live action shooter genre is already crowded and has no place for new IPs. The main issue with Ubi is that their games are all similar first- or third person open world games.
Open world games, by their nature, have to be padded with mundane tasks. GTA, by its nature, do not have big issue to pad out with filler missions. I personally find most open world games would be better if they had fewer filler quests/missions. But again, there are some vocal minority who relate the number of hours with the cost. The longer does not mean the better. Even with linear games like TLOU and the plague, their first games are shorter but better.

Like others said, get out of your bubble. Music, movies, and PC games have been almost entirely digital for almost a decade, and they are doing fine. We are not owning blah blah- drop cliche excuse. It is what it is.
By the way, even if you own a disc, it does not mean you own them forever as these things broke with time too.

Disagree with gaming is inexpensive luxury. Completely ignorant quote. Games in 90s are much more expensive, if you take into inflation. Even console price are similar if you account into inflation.
Yes this is expensive but think of it as ipad, macbook or desktop everything electronic pro. Just buy the base version, you can still play the same game with a bit lesser experience. You want more, you pay more. You arent priced out of playing the same game.

@captainsandman Yes I have played both, only the beginning, and not finished. Can’t stand the camera movement. I really enjoyed dead rising co-op and want something similar but both dead island and dying light are unfortunately first person view.

I just wish there was 3rd person view. Parkour and first person view are really bad match.

Dont be fooled by its graphics. It is very enjoyable and entertaining game with interesting plot. I love helldivers 2 but i even like EDF more. The only thing I dislike was it needs a bit of grinding and needs to get to the boxes to get actual upgrade. With a bit tank like control, it wasn't very easy to do that. But at its peak, no game can compare to the chaos it creates.
Has EDF 6 fixed that? Do i need to get all boxes to get weapons and upgrade?

Every year, articles like this pop up, boasting what have improved. Realism blah blah. When I actually played ( from ps plus), it is almost the same as last year. Realism?? You can dribble past everyone and score. PES/ efootball has much better gameplay, but transition to mobile focused efootball and poor licensing has nearly destroyed the franchise.

Double Dragon Neon is good. So looking forward to it.

I definitely recommend the anime, even if you are not into them. Funny, great action, and fantastic OP and ED music.
