Excited for the game's release but I'll be waiting until it releases on PC lol. Hopefully it isn't too long of a wait, similar to DS1's wait time from PS4 to PC.
@Frmknst I grew up playing hack n slash games where you just press buttons to string combos together and kill everything and only dodge occasionally. I wasn't used to having to juggle stamina when it was attached to both dodging and swinging a weapon.
It's one of the main reasons why a lot of people that played a lot of hack n slash games struggle with souls games at first. I played Demon Souls and Dark Souls for the first time like a hack n slash.
I love the combat in Souls games now, fighting bosses feels like a dance and it's such a rush when you finally beat a boss that you've been fighting against for 'y' amount of tries.
Sorry I didn't just play Demon Souls on the PS3 back in 2009-2010 like a god gamer.
Kojima isn't wrong, I used to not "get" Souls games. The combat didn't click with me and I gave up on them right away cause I didn't get why they were so loved.
Then they clicked in my brain and I love them to pieces now.
Plan on playing more Stellar Blade on pc. I finished the game on ps5 last year and I'm enjoying the revisit on pc with the dlc, and all of the added stuff from the patches over the year.
I remember 1+2 having a demo too. I'm excited for 3+4.
On a side note, I haven't seen Tony Hawk in a minute, and man, it made me feel kinda sad just how old he's getting to look. I know he's up there in age but still.
Overall the stream was pretty good. The yapfest at the end when they were talking to Arc about the Marvel game went on for a little too long, but otherwise it was a pretty good showcase.
I thought it was good. A lot of good looking games were shown off. The 007 game was probably the only meh to me in all honesty, everything else looked good.
When it comes to predictions, the only thing I can really think of is seeing gameplay of Yotei, probably a launch trailer for Death Stranding 2 and maybe the RGG Studio game.
My dream stuff though? I'm still hoping for a possible PC port of Bloodborne and the Demon's Souls Remake. I know it's a pipe dream but lemme dream!
@Ralizah I do remember seeing that article and right next to it was a preview of Marvel Rivals, saying it's not a good as Overwatch, and definitely not as good as Concord.

Re: Death Stranding 2 (PS5) - A Masterpiece in Every Sense
I really loved the first game after giving it a blind shot a few years ago. Can't wait to play the sequel.
Re: SpongeBob, TMNT, Avatar DLC Confirmed for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds
Honestly I just like that Ichiban is in the game. Makes sense too since they had kart racing as a mini game in 7 and Pirate Yakuza.
Re: SEGA's Accidentally Outed Sales Numbers Put a Lot into Context

Re: Talking Point: What's Your PS5 Game of the Year for 2025 So Far?

Monster Hunter Wilds
Doom Dark Ages

Re: Crash Team Racing Has Topped 10 Million Units, But Is Still Locked to 30fps
I had a ton of fun playing this on release back in 2019. I remember grinding the platinum trophy, it was so tough but so fun.
I genuinely wish we had a PS5 patch/Pc port, but I doubt it'll happen anymore.

Re: Reaction: Sony Finally Understands the Assignment with One of the Best State of Plays of the PS5 Era

Re: Poll: How Would You Rate State of Play for June 2025?
I thought it was good. A lot of good looking games were shown off. The 007 game was probably the only meh to me in all honesty, everything else looked good.
Re: PC Modders Are Already Making Skimpy New Stellar Blade Outfits, And Eve's Body Double Wants to Model Them

Re: Rumour: Greek God of War Game Is a 2.5D Metroidvania
I'm okay with this as long as it's good.
