The days are getting shorter and the temperature is beginning to drop, so it’s the perfect time to start snuggling up with video games again. Fortunately, there’s been a lot releasing over the last few months, so here’s what’s keeping us busy.
Aaron Bayne
I'll be taking to the battlefields with the lads in Battlefield 6 this weekend. I'm keen to get stuck in with the multiplayer after trying it out during the beta.

Battlefield 6. Yep. Lots and lots of Battlefield 6.
Jamie O'Neill
It feels like an opportune time to celebrate Sucker Punch's past, and it's 14 years since Pyre Night when Cole MacGrath encountered the vampire, Bloody Mary, in the October 2011 release of inFAMOUS: Festival of Blood on PS3.
Sammy Barker
I'm busy with a bunch of reviews, including the insane anime roguelike Full Metal Schoolgirl. Keep your eyes peeled for a full review soon.
A lot of Battlefield 6 this week, then, as expected. But what are you playing this weekend? As always, be sure to let us know in the comments section below.

This weekend I am returning to a playthrough of Blasphemous 2. Already completed it on the Switch but I am in the 1st part on PS5.
I will play some DooM on the Switch and for nostalgia play some Resident Evil 3 Nemesis
And I will continue to add to my sculpture of the Predator!
Have a nice weekend!!!
A rather eclectic mix of Silent Hill F and Digimon Story: Time Stranger
Just got past the first proper boss fight in SH. Having a great time with it. Actually really enjoying the combat with it's slower, more deliberate pace.
As for Digimon I've found Minervamon again and presumably I'm not too far off from entering the digital world now~!
Have a great weekend everyone!
Ghost of yotei love atsu the more I play the more entertaining she is.
Coz I'm a glutton for punishment I thought I'd do a run through Mafia 3... Apart from that, just chipping away at BG3, Oblivion, Veilguard, Quake 2 and Shadows 🙂
I'll be going between Battlefield 6 and God of War Ragnarok almost finished Ragnarok and Battlefield is amazing so far. Might buy Yotei if i finish God of War.
Going to play the free trial of Black Ops 6 and complete the campaign, if I can work out how to download it!
Greetings fellow video game enthusiasts. This weekend I will playing such video games as Sonic Racing Crossworlds. Just a few more super sonic trophies to go. I may also start Shinobi. It’s sure to be a weekend.
Sonic Crossworlds - Beating Rivals.
Xenotilt - A superb bullet hell pinball title from the makers of Demon's Tilt, very addictive.
Beat Hazard Arcade - This twin stick shooter is melting my retinas lol.
Dying Light the Beast - Enjoying it but always short on crafting items, i want to be beastly not plodding around with broken baseball bats 😀
I got a cheap copy of silent hill f so started yesterday. Looks great on the pro despite some jittery animations. @HallowMoonshadow did you choose story or hard mode for the battles ?
More Ratchet and Clank Tools of Destruction for me this weekend. Now on my second playthrough, this time looking to find all the collectables, get the skill points etc. I'm still having a weird issue where only about half the cutscenes play correctly and half have stuttering sound. Looking online it seems to be an issue when playing the game on a PS3 slim. So have had to watch cutscenes on YouTube. A bit annoying, but the game itself is great fun as usual with R&C.
After the challenging, technical platforming of The Messenger, it's a nice contrast to play a good simple blast and let the weapons do most of the work.
Enjoy your weekend everyone.
Nothing as I'm abroad visiting family. Can't say I don't wish I had brought psportal with me, though.
Gears Of War Multiplayer & Battlefield 6.
Just got my castle in Suikoden II. Also been digging out the Spyro remastered trilogy. So it's very much a PS One vibe this weekend
Sonic Racing Minecraft Festival
And since it's getting closer to the end of the month, I've line up the RE2, 3 and 4 remakes and SOMA to work my way through.
Have a good one all!
I stayed up until the small hours playing the BF6 campaign. I've finished that, so I'll be jumping into the multiplayer for a run this morning before I go back to Absolum and Ghost of Yotei.
Ghost of Yotei, making good progress and having a wonderful time exploring Edo with Atsu and Wolf.
I'm also going to be settling down to listen to the first episode of Critical Roles new campaign whilst I bimble around Final Fantasy XI, merit point farming and doing some gear upgrading.
About 60hrs into Hades at the moment. Still need to finish a couple of runs to finish the actual story then work on the trophy challenges - getting all the summons, finishing at higher difficulty levels, fulfilling the required prophesies etc. A great game with only a couple of annoyances.
Avowed
Reached level 27 and finished the game. Good world-building and fun combat. Solid B-Tier game.
Euro Truck Simulator 2
Delivered pesticides to Bialystok. Delivered smoked sprats to Lublin. Delivered frozen hake to Vienna. Delivered petrol to Poznan. Delivered wooden beams to Gdansk. After 85 days my Ziggurat Spedition trucking empire has 28 trucks.
Lies of P
Currently Level 74. Working my way through the Barren Swamp and have reached the second stargazer.
Monster Train
Lost as Melting Remnant allied with Umbra but levelled Little Fade up to Eternal Flame III. Then replayed with the same clans and won and levelled Little Fade up to Little Icarus III. Have now won with all clan combinations and levelled each clan up to Level 10. Lost as Awoken allied with Melting Remnant on Covenant 1 but levelled Wyldenten up to Predator III.
The Legend of Zelda
Farming rupees in the overworld to build myself up before tacking the first dungeon. Currently have 6 hearts, the White Sword, the Magical Shield, and am saving up for the Blue Ring.
I bought myself a skateboard this week and within half an hour I was in A&E with a dislocated elbow and fracture. I've learned that I'm at least 30 years too late to pick up skating as a new hobby.
Limited game time for a few weeks.
I’m aiming to finish GOY this weekend; this game has quickly become one of my favourite games I’ve ever played.
Started Old Hunters after my first time playing Bloodborne. Been breezing through it but now I’m facing a slightly intimidating end boss on the beach…
Ghost of Yotei this weekend.
Hopefully including some Silent Hill f if there's time.
Have a fun weekend everyone!
For a guy that's got the plat for Dishonored 1&2, and planning to plat DotO and Prey, dunno why I didn't get Deathloop as soon as I got a PS5, guess bangers like BG3 had all my attention. Anyway I'm playing it now, aww I've missed that signature Arkane art direction, not surprised it won the award for that in 2021. Overall I'm loving it and it just reminded me I still didn't get around to beating Prey's Mooncrash, sigh so many games. But I'll also be continuing KCD2, CP2077, ER, Metro Exodus and others too.
Might not get a whole lot of time this weekend but I'm going to try and finish the main story for BL4 and dabble in some BF6.
Enjoy everyone
This weekend its ghost of yoti with .y new yoti controller. Only done few hrs so far and loving it. This afternoon my nephew coming over so going to play lego voyagers with him for a bit.
Ghost of Yotei has me entranced and I don't expect I'll play anything else for a while.
Theres a new swiitch 2 in the house, but I'll leave it till my wifes birthday on 29th before we set that up. We are old now, but its still nice to get a suprise on the day!
Whatever you are playing, I hope you have a great weekend!
Only Battlefield 6 on XBX ALL weekend, 24/7....put a few hours in so far and loving it. And jeez, it is brutal! Im a seasoned player on every iteration since 1942, and this is unforgiving and it's brilliant for it. Not touched the campaign and probably never will. Had no bugs, no "server queues" at all. Im looking forward to see how the game evolves.
Have a great weekend guys and gals ❤️
I will be playing and continue one of the best video games ever made in the excellent fallout 4 game of the year edition. I will also continued playing the instant classic the wonderful last of us part 2.i will be continued playing one of the best video games ever made in the amazing resident evil 2 remake.i will also continued playing fan favorite the incredible the evil within 2.and I will continued playing the instant classic the phenomenal wolfenstein the old blood.i will watch my boston celtics 💚🖤 play in preseason game.and I will watch my pittsburgh steelers 💛🖤 play in they're regular season game.and I will watch legendary sitcoms TV 📺 comedy shows in family matters.good times.the Jeffersons.sanford and son.different strokes.and saved by the bell.word up son
Slowly playing super mario galaxy 2 on switch 2 and trails in the sky first chapter on PS5. Have to say gaming does not feel the same so close after Silksong (and a replay of HK)
Ghost of Yotei really beautiful game. I’m loving the combat I’m using the bounty hunter outfit and trying to play it like Sekiro. Had a blast fighting some dude on top of Mount Yotei. Been trying to clear each area before moving on to the next so I’m not too far into the story
I'll be flying passengers all over Europe in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Beta on my base PS5!
Sure there are some stutters and lower res textures when flying at a higher altitude, but it is a dream coming through playing MSFS2024 on a Playstation!
Good times to be alive!
And of course some Borderlands 4 on the side!
Harlowe says boom!
@ApostateMage Mate, Im so sorry! I was mad for skateboarding in the late 70s and travelled the country doing it. Still got my board, but I also learnt the hard way that my skills are gone and not coming back..
Hoping you heal quick dude...
Resident Evil 3 Remake. It’s perfect for the month for Halloween.
@4fold Ι platinumed Hades recently and I strongly agree. It's also a reminder, for me at least, not to go for the trophies, as they ruin the fun I had with the game by the time I'm done collecting them. For some reason I every tried to get the third statue (you probably know what I'm talking about) without god mode and without realizing that I don't need it to get the platinum. I got very close to beating the last boss, but it so wasn't worth the anger issues I developed along the way...
@Sulleymonster I'd initially went with hard but after two hours or so I decided to put it down to story.
I think it's a bit of a misleading name as the monsters still do a decent amount of damage... You just don't die in 2/3 hits like you do in hard 😅
Too much!
I’m playing the Battlefield 6 campaign and Expedition 33 during the day today with possibly some Borderlands 4 co-op this afternoon. Then tonight I’ll be playing some Battlefield 6 Multiplayer with my brothers and hopefully Sea of Theives as well.
Tomorrow I’ll be continuing with Expedition 33 and also playing some Bye Sweet Carole and also (if I have time) starting Finding Paradise, which is the sequel to To the Moon.
Busy weekend!
Edit: Also, how do I put text into bold?
I saw the Cole thumbnail and got excited. Bring back my boy. 😭
Put FF VIII Remastered on hold. I just lost interest with this game again. VIII and XIII are probably the only FF games i ever played where i lost interest multiple times. But last year i managed to finished XIII so maybe someday i can finish VIII...
Anyway. I just ordered a second hand copy of Deus Ex: Human Revolution for PS3. I spent around $3.5 for the game. So i'm gonna played it when the copy arrived.
I'm also playing:
Have a great weekend everyone 👍🍻
Stasis Bone Totem

Very much enjoyed this deep sea horror adventure. Like a point-and-click SOMA.
Immortals Fenyx Rising

How do you do fellow Ubisoft and similar open worlds fanclub kids? In all seriousness this game is quite enjoyable, like a mix of AC Odyssey and Darksiders. Perfect game to play while listening through new music.
On Pro Im playing Ghost Of Yotei, Silent Hill f and Cronos. On Series X Im playing Wuchang fallen feathers
Octopath Traveler II: Really enjoyed the first despite my initial misgivings about the HD-2D aesthetic. It's nice that my group is already forming connections by traveling to the next member and giving me a chance to see how they work together; the side quests they do with one another will no doubt strengthen those ties.
On my PS5 - Ghost of Yotei
On my Series X - Gears 5 Horde on Master with just one mate and my son. It's proving very, very difficult!
On my Switch - Absolutely nothing, as has been the case for approaching 3 years now. The purchase of my Switch was a moment of madness because I have only ever played one game on it...
Persona 3 remake
It's dark and early here at the moment - heading out for some trout fishing in about an hour with my son and pops.
Probably try to catch some of the Ohio State vs Illinois game today. The back yard needs my attention, but summer is definitely giving way to autumn, so it should be nice outside.
I'm going to continue my trek in Final Fantasy Tactics: Ivalice Chronicles. Need to get some grinding out of the way to get builds in order before going too much further in the main story. I haven't decided whether or not I'm going to get the platinum - I'm leaning towards no given the grind required to do it.
Have a good weekend, everybody.
More Yotei for me this weekend, probably halfway through but 40 hours in as I'm throughly clearing the map, as I go. It's exactly the kind of game I can get lost in, especially now I have a good loadout for exploration - in Watanabe mode, of course.
Greetings, good people. I'm still deep into Hades II, almost done with 100% Kirby Forgotten Land, and got myself Raidou Remastered for Switch 2 for quite a bargain price, will start it after Kirby. Hope you all have a nice weekend.
I've been away, but did manage to get some bargains in the latest sale, Timesplitters 1&2, Assassin's Creed Freedom Cry, and Sleeping Dogs. They will need to wait though as I crack on with Far Cry Primal, and the inevitable Balatro. I did finish a run last night that I started a week and a half ago, and managed to open another deck, that will therefore require some playing.
Will be continuing my journey through Final Fantasy XII to get the final trophies for the platinum. Then can start on Final Fantasy Tactics. Whilst also jumping on a few games of FC26. Happy Gaming All.
Playing multiple games which is very unlike me, but here we are.
Borderlands 4
Ghost of Yotei
Sonic Racing: Crossworlds
chugging my way to the end and platinum in hell is us, was thinking of starting yotei immediately after but i think i’m going to fart through some short possibly retro or vr games instead.
Ghost of Yotei with a smattering of borderlands 4, Skate and Endless Legend 2
I've been bad about taking advantage of my weekends of late, but I plan to play more Ivalice Chronicles, as well as checking out Cocoon and finally starting River City Girls. I loved Limbo and Inside yet somehow missed Cocoon entirely, and for whatever reason I've been in a "beat 'em up renaissance" mood lately. I didn't grow up with Streets of Rage (we were an SNES family), but I recently had a blast with 4 and I'd like to keep that momentum going. Play well, all! (Hmm, I like that. I might start saying that more often.)
@ApostateMage Hope you have a quick recovery! My own skateboard history ended quickly after I low-blowed myself with a misplaced ollie.
@Kiefer-Sutherland use an asterisk either side of the word 😉
BF6 for me this weekend. I am loving this game so much and I've had zero issues getting into online games. The only time I saw a que time was the very first game I jumped into and that only took a couple of minutes if that..I feel a whole lot of nothing is being made over this particular instance. Have a smasher of a weekend folks 👍
Ghost of Yotei it is better than I expected, and I loved Tsushima going in. It does everything Tsushima did, but it is a better game all round. Atsu is a proper sneaky savage and I love it. This is a long game if you want it to be, too! And I want it to be. Having a blast duelling every **** in Ezo!
(Apparently .gifs from imbb don't work on PushSquare like imgur did 😭)
@ApostateMage I had considered doing the same. My wife keeps asking if im going through a midlife crisis in my 40's🤣. I used to be great on rollerblades but threw them in the back of the wardrobe after a horrible fall. I may take that up again. Hope you have a speedy recovery.
@ApostateMage never was a skate boarder but I was a mountain bike racer in my early 20's until I had a bad fall and dislocated my shoulder, broke 3 ribs and suffered a displaced knee..never been able to ride a bike for any great length of time since then..hope you get better soon buddy 👍
I'll still be playing Silksong but have also started playing Celeste again. Almost got 100 strawberries after beating the main game back in 2020 im hooked on getting 100% now. Also Ori and the will of the wisps on Switch.
Have a great weekend folks.
@Lowdefal It's embarrassing but I was merely practicing the very basic skill of pushing. Board went from under me.
Luckily, there were no Nelson Muntz's around.
@Titntin @Perturbator @Northern_munkey @MightyDemon82 Cheers brothers x
@ApostateMage mate, i'm sorry, but that is hilarious 🤣🤣🤣 The amount of times I've come off a BMX (without a helmet and got away scratch free 😬) makes me glad i'm not a stupid kid any more. Please refrain from putting your body in further peril and STICK TO VIDEO GAMES! 😁
I'll be playing more Wuthering Waves. I'm pretty addicted to it. I'll also be playing Battlefield 6 and Sea of Thieves with my 3 brothers. It's not often we all game together, so looking forward to it.
Exploring more and more of Japan with Assassin's Creed Shadows. The game is huge, a ever growing list of targets. Gonna hunt them all...
In Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, I'm about to reach Cosmo Canyon's main town. Eager to reunite with old pal Bugenhagen.
Playing Sword of The Sea and will start The Last of Us Part 1, as my girlfriend likes to see me play those games. Let's go!!!
@naruball
lol, I only go for trophies if I’m enjoying the game and want more challenges. If I just played for the story I’d be finished soon. Sure I could go for the prophesies but most are just collectibles. I’ll hopefully get the platinum, but if it becomes too much of a chore I’ll drop it (I have about a 40% completion rate for platinums because I only care for about 40% of games enough to go for them).
Very glad I have them to keep me engaged here (and that’s the case for many roguelikes), as I have started skimming most of the dialogue now.
Continuing the beautiful Ghost of Yotei, fantastic so far loving the combat, you've got to keep sharp when being mobbed and it feels good to cut them down one by one.
Got the dual Katanas now and just love fighting the spear guys!
Happy gaming folks
@4fold I literally just rolled credits on Hades. I agree, a great game but might take a break before 2.
@Perturbator I thought Fenyx Rising was loads of fun, shame it won't get a sequel, an actual new IP which should have landed better than it did IMO. Some of the puzzles were real head scratchers and I liked the little vault challenges, game looks good too, colours a really vibrant! Enjoy 👍
@Ravix I'm most definitely sticking to the one hobby of videos games. At least skating there I can get up without a scratch after a 200ft spread eagle.
Cracking Yotei pics btw 👌🏻
I’m camping in the midst of a Nor’easter so not much gaming for me beyond my switch: Monster Train 2
Did manage to wrap up Hell is Us this week. Loved it. Ending was abrupt but the game is one about the journey.
That’s a short one for me this week!
Still on Cronos when I have the time. Bit of a tough game but enjoyable.
What I´ve been playing since last week
Gears of War Reloaded – Me and the son finally finished the campaign! Its been so awesome to play this with him, and a little surprising that he also found the game to be really good (despite being 20 years old which for him is ancient). We might have to play more GoW 🙂
The Crew Motorfest - Im moving on from this game now, having played around 30 hours. Its been fun, some of the playlists have been really impressive with high production value but Im switching to play more Sonic Racing Crossworlds instead.
Ghost of Yotei - Loving this! Its just what i wanted, a gorgeous game thats more of what made Tsushima great and Im motivated storywise to get my revenge 🤩
Battlefield 6 of course.
GoY and returning my busting PS2 I recently purchased. I was a little hyped to play some SSX Tricky!!
I have so many games it makes no sense. I got a stupid deal on a brand new Switch 2 with Mario World that I would have been a fool to past up. I think it's almost a shopping hack.
I think I’m a little burned out on gaming at the moment. I’ve been bouncing around with several games—something I rarely do because I typically focus on one game at a time. It’s not as if the game(s) I’m playing aren’t holding my attention; they most certainly are, but I feel overwhelmed with the amount of games currently out that I want to play.
With that said, as mentioned earlier, I am playing multiple games. This is because my wife surprised me with a Nintendo Switch 2 while I was at work. When I got home, not only did she have it set up, she even purchased and installed Donkey Kong Bananza and Cronos: The New Dawn. To say I was ecstatic is an understatement.
The games I’ve been playing are as followed:
Ghost of Yotei - I’m still enamored with Ezo. I haven’t made a ton of progress in advancing the main narrative — I’ve yet to kill the second member of the Yotei Six other than the first person that is unavoidable. The side content, however, is so engaging, and always flows back to its overarching narrative, so everything you do feels meaningful rather than checking boxes off, though there are a few trappings of modern game design. More importantly, GoY knows how and when to be a “game”. Everything in this game feels deliberate, and I think it’s a masterclass in open world game design.
Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter; Nintendo Switch 2 Edition - The Trails’ series has always been one of my all time favorites, and this remake is no different. To newcomers, I’ll say that the harshest negative most games in this franchise has is its opening hours are a slog to get through. If you can muster five to ten hours of slow pace world-building you will be rewarded with an incredible journey.
Cronos The New Dawn; Nintendo Switch 2 - I’ve been playing handheld and it’s been great so far. Blooper Team has clearly found their footing in the survival horror genre. I’m impressed by the pacing and excellent world-building and environment storytelling. It may not be entirely unique—it wears its inspirations on their sleeves, but it doesn’t detract its own ambitions.
That is about it so far. I’m really hoping I can finish at least a couple of the games on my docket before The Outer Worlds 2 and Ninja Gaiden 4 releases, but I don’t think it’s likely. In the next two weekends I’ll be out of town because of weddings. Oh, well; the games will still be here when I get back, and so will my anxiety.
Battlefield 6 and Skate.
As im a dump or finish kind of gamer, still on borderlands 4... maybe get the platinum if I can figure out the fishing (not looked at a guide for that yet, but no fishes for me!) Just got to unlock level 5 post game (last mission) and those are the 2 hardest things to go...
Then its either back to kirby on switch 2 or buying shapes and beats as its finally on sale!
I mostly finished The Tale of Onogoro" on *psvr2. Great animations, great music, and interesting puzzles. I am just not that interested in the story they try to tell (do I not understand the meaning behind it? Maybe). And in my opinion the last bit is too tedious. Other than that I enjoyed it quite a bit.
I played a tiny bit of Max Mustard" on "psvr2 which is/was? currently on a steep sale. There is nothing negative to say about this charming platformer other than that it is so close to astro bot rescue mission that it is hard not to compare it to that. And astro bot rescue mission just has this extra bit of polish and max mustard pales in comparison. Any way it is a great addition to one's psvr2 collection in particular for the current prize.
But then I am still playing Final Fantasy XVI on Ps5 which consumes a lot of my play time. I very much liked about the first (probably) half. Now I reached a point where I either made too many side quests and it feels too repetitive or the story reached a point where there are not so many surprises any more. Anyway at the moment my character is too powerful, and the latest side quests I did, did not add much. Presumably I still prefer FF7 over FF16, and the only other FF game I played is FF15, which I did not get into at all. Overall so far a great game and I am surprised that it was not received with more applause (or didn't I pay attention to that? Also possible.)..
Battlefield 6 for the coming weekends!! Having a great time. Yesterday teamed up with @Northern_munkey . If others wish to play together please add me on PSN 😀
Also on Ghost of Yotei. Have all the main weapons upgraded to the second highest level, loads of the contracts, most of the available map de-fogged... yet the only member of the Yotei Six I've defeated is the guy you have to beat in the first half hour of the story. So I might push on and take one or two of them down.
This is the first game in a very long time that I'm really enjoying. Plus I'm really enjoying my build - easier perfect parry charm, armour that disables regular parries but makes perfect parries more powerful. Nice risk-reward there.
Plus the visual and audio design are top notch.
Still working my way through DYING LIGHT: The Beast. It’s a really good game but I have to say, there are some design choices in it that are beyond frustrating. Lack of fast travel is probably the #1 culprit here but there are a few others. Otherwise it’s a pretty solid mix of the best parts of the other two games. Hope everyone has a great weekend gaming!
Just wrapped the Platinum on Silent Hill 2 and now working on Deliver At All Cost, super fun throwback.
Still hooked on Ghost of Yotei. I'm about 30 hours in, and I might finally be ready to do some story quests soon.
Mostly I will be playing Hades II. I did get the Alan Wake 2 Deluxe Edition physical disc, but I'm waiting until a little closer to spooky season to try it out.
Heading back to Nier Automata to do the 9S playthrough
A little bit of Hell let loose and some Goat simulator 3 coop with my oldest son.
Have a great weekend!
@Mostik Real shame it wasn't more popular, as I think it's a game many players would enjoy if they gave it a chance!
Like most of us I'm fully enraptured by Ghost of Yotei after 37hrs. But I'm still sneaking in some Digimon Story Time Stranger (haven't made it to the Digital world yet though). What a Time to be gaming!
Have a great weekend my fellow Onryo!
@Jrs1 thank you for putting Beat Hazard on my radar with your mention. I’ll be downloading this asap!
I finally decided to grab a Switch 2 with Donkey Kong Bonanza, so I’ll be playing that. It’s the most genuine fun I’ve had with a game in quite a while, no crazy story beats (so far), no over complicated mechanics or controls, no over saturated bloat, it’s just a simple, fun game that respects my time.
@Burnish1619 I saw this was on sale a few days ago right before I went to bed and had to plans to buy in the morning and of course it was regular price the next day. Boo!
I'm gonna be playing a combination platter of Ghost of Yotei, with the Battlefield 6 fried rice, egg roll and a bottle of Mount Yotei Sake
Borderlands 3 (Series X) Finished the main story the other day so I will be starting the DLC this weekend. First up is the Handsome Jackpot DLC. Currently I am rocking a level 56 Siren.
Castlevanis: Symphony of the Night (Series X) Time for my yearly replay of this classic game. And no better time then the month of October.
Silent Hill F (Series X) Been looking forward to this game since I have always enjoyed the SH series. This ks another game I am looking forward to finishing this Halloween season.
Continue my time with Yooka-Replaylee. I gotta admit, it's a massive improvement over the original game, so hats off to Playtonic.
I may also hop into Team Fortress 2 to play some Scream Fortress.
Angry Birds Seasons (Windows Phone) - I'm playing on the Halloween levels atm.
Gears POP! (Android) - I'm finally finishing up my YT LP this weekend.
Flowerz (Windows Phone) - This seems like a decent puzzler so far.
@Tasuki I like how you bust out Symphony every Halloween and add a newer Halloween game to the mix. I'm 50yo and Halloween is still a cool time of year. Affter Yotei, I think my Halloween game will be Cronos this year.
@ApostateMage Oh no!! Hope you recover quickly!
Ghost of Tsushima and Elder Scrolls Online! Wanna finish Ghost of Tsushima before I purchase Yōtei (which has apparently sold through 1.6 million in its first week ✌🏾). So many great games out right now!
I'm making my way through Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter. What a great remake! I played through the original back in the day on my PSTV/Vita TV.
Ghost of Yotei forever.
Wizordum, AC Shadows, and NG Ragebound.
@Blauwe_Chimay Goat Sim, TABS, and Teardown have been my six year old's faves. Good times.
Also, that LEGO DC Villains is great fun in co-op. You can make your own villain, and we like to play hide and seek or race in the split-screen, free roam mode. It's the most fun we've had w the LEGO ganes so far.
Doing brain farting conkers in Battlefield 6.
Continuing on with my second play through of the stirring Silent Hill f along with inching my way through the very challenging Hollow Knight: Silksong. Happy gaming and happy Thanksgiving to any fellow Canadians!
@ErrantRob No probs bud, ive always loved the series, glad to see it back 👍
Im playing the last of us 2 remastered and it's an incredible game really not to sure why it got the hate it did?
@TimeDelayedGamer one of the weaker R&C games imo , but to comment on that slim issue you’re having - is it from the disc or are you playing digitally? if you’re playing from disc, maybe an install would help? i have it digitally and didn’t have any problem on the slim.
Not PS5, this console collected so much dust this year. I only used it for watching a 4K Blu-ray movie this weekend.
seeing the infamous photo got me hyped for a second then realized it was just a what are you playing this weekend post , infamous maybe you'll return some day.
Platinumed Ghost of Yotei yesterday. Sucker Punch really keeps upping the ante with every game; this is easily a GOTY contender and possibly better than Tsushima in my eyes - though I love the Batman-ish story of Tsushima. I was also really impressed with the side missions this time around; every bit of optional content felt well thought out and unique. Really, REALLY happy with my experience in Yotei!
As for what's next, I'm not sure lol! Playing Yotei and seeing all the references made me very nostalgic for past Sucker Punch games; I'd realized I'd never played Infamous 2... May replay the first and head into the second. I also still have Silent Hill f to beat, and need to work on the platinum for Death Stranding 2. Lots of avenues to go!
I wish we could play InFamous on PS5!!! 😢😭😮💨
Finally got some time to get seriously into Ghost of Yotei. This is very deep game, with a ton of really well thought out and well implemented side content..Spectacular visuals, fun and frenzied combat and plenty to do.
Ghost of Yōtei and finally pushing to finish the campaign of kingdom come deliverance 2 got over 110 hours in it and on the final stretch now what a game!
@3Above Cheers mate.
Alan Wake 2 has entered the rotation. I made it to the subway. I like it so far, but as a visual novel.
Horizon Forbidden West is still very great. I really like the story and the world. I am nearing the end.
In both cases, I have bought the available DLC, so that I get the full experience from both.
Well, I forgot to write on this yesterday, but so far I’ve played Absolum, which I love to start, Kuukiyomi 4, which my son stole from me and proceeded to play as rudely as possible, a few rounds of Hades 2, which I’m starting to progress in now (and I agree with everyone that prefers the first game, basically, because the second one may have better gameplay but a less compelling storyline), and Super Mario Galaxy 2… because my son was having trouble with bosses.
Hopefully I get a chance to play Yotei as well! Pokemon is coming out next week and, after a relatively easy year to stay ahead of games, I’m sinking now! A good problem to have, huh?
Been messing around with Skate
If time allows I'll continue playing Mafia Old Country, which I'm enjoying a lot.
Also will be watching some NHL and darts (both Lukes in the final this evening).
Have a nice gaming time, folks!
Control Ultimate Edition
I played a a lot of Ghost of Yotei and a little bit of Helldivers 2. Yotei’s combat is glorious, gory fun.
Painting a room mainly, but did get some Lego Harry Potter: Years 1–4 in.
@Titntin As a fellow old person, you are not alone in doubting that anything else will get played besides Ghost of Yotei for a good long while. There is just too much content in this game.
@Othatguy Yes my friend, I'm taking my time and savouring it!
Have a great day mate..
@nomither6 I'm playing from disc. It's odd, there's occasional gameplay pauses and music doing very short loops as well. Pre-rendered cutscenes play fine. Menus can take a few seconds to open. It does seem to be an issue with it streaming from disc, but there's no option to install and I'm not running a modified PS3. It's not game-breaking or anything, more just annoying.
Oh wow, I played Festival of Blood too!
