Also I'm glad the game did get pushed back cause it was releasing the same day as Crimson Desert and the pc port of Death Stranding 2.

The general layout they have for unlocking stuff and progressing sounds like a lot of racers during the ps2 era and I'm okay with that.

Yoko Taro and Evangelion just feel like a perfect fit, really curious to see what kind of story he cooks up.

I'm kinda surprised they'd do a Xenoverse 3 since the second game keeps getting new content. But I guess it will have a new story.

I think I'm getting pretty close to the end of Nioh 3 so I'll likely be finishing that up.

Hiring someone that's the head of AI as the CEO of the Xbox division isn't exactly giving me a ton of hope for their future.

I think egyptian mythology has a lot of potential for exploration. I remember really enjoying a lot of the egyptian themes that AC Origins did.

I just really wanted the Demon Souls remake on PC, and I feel the chances of that happening are almost zero now with Bluepoint gone.

Makes sense since Stellar Blade was their first big foray into console gaming, and Shift Up feels confident enough to be able to release the sequel on multiple platforms day one.

Hopefully this does result in us getting another entry in the series instead of the 50th collab lol.

Totally agree with Sammy, Bluepoint's closure is a huge misstep and a big mismanagement problem with Sony. I have a feeling we're going to see a few more studios close before the halfway point of the year

Thankfully the emulation scene around Bloodborne has gotten to a pretty good point where it's like playing a remaster.

Shame on Sony for having Bluepoint work on a live service game, cancel it, then leave them out to dry before closing their studio.

I watched a stream of the game a week or so ago and I was really surprised by it. I usually don't play gacha games, but this one definitely has my attention.

I know a few people that talk about how much they like playing games, but spend a lot of their free time watching YT shorts and doom scrolling without actually playing anything, so they're not entirely wrong on their analysis.

I just love how weird and wild things look from the gameplay we've seen.

I don't see consoles going the way of complete discless, but due to the lack of "stable internet" doesn't really matter when every game nowadays, physical or digital, still require a significant download just to play.

I still love physical but went digital only a few years ago due to how much room a game collection can really take up. I still have my games ranging from PS1/N64 up to PS5 lol.

I'll always have a soft spot for indie games and the more recognition they get, the better.

I get the whole licensing ordeal but Mai not being in Last Round is a shame.

But no cross play is going to hurt the game's online for sure.

Gotta give props to Guerilla, the engine has really good performance without having to sacrifice much in the quality department. I'm glad Kojima and his studio used it.

Gotta admit, I do really like the overall aesthetic of the box, it feels very Cyberpunk.

I could see a ps plus price increase first then down the line a console price increase.

I get both sides of the conversation.
I get where Sammy is coming from where it may stump some of the games that'll release that could use the better archetype the PS6 has. But I can also understand when people say that they feel the PS5 hasn't hit it's ceiling yet as a console, especially with the PS5 Pro not fully utilizing the PSSR.

It's a shame the ps5 and pc versions were scrapped, I like to think the game could've had a resurgence from it.

Personally I could care less if they're kept in or cut cause they're just short 20-25 second qte mini games, so they're not exactly the biggest deal in the entire game.

Honestly that's not bad. Last of Us 2 on PC is about 115gb lol.

I mean, everyone is entitled to their opinion, it's just that I have a hard time taking someone's opinion serious when they use ai generated images for a thumbnail.

Still playing Nioh 3, having a lot of fun with it.

I may also hop in and do a few runs in both Mewgenics and Darkest Dungeon.

I checked out the demo last night and it's really fun. Makes me excited for the full game.

The art style really reminds me of Blasphemous, and that's a good thing! Both games have really good spritework.

Also a friend of mine drives past Mega Cat Studio's office for work every day which is a funny coincidence lol.

Really cool that it's a free upgrade. I still plan on starting the sequel sometime soon, it's been sitting in my library for quite some time.

I do want to give it a try. It's a good way to form a more solid opinion on the game.

Parts of it really did feel like Gravity Rush lol, and I'm a-okay with that.

It's cool to see Dead or Alive 6 get an updated version with the DLC, I know the game has a trailer full of DLC content.

I really liked the first Kena game so I'm really excited for this one.

Finally MGS4 is free of it's PS3 shackles. Can't wait to revisit the game.

Super excited! I've been waiting for the PC port.

I did sign up for the beta test cause I do like to see how the game will be like first hand.
