Unless we get a surprise big hit multiplayer game within the next 7 months, I could see it winning best multiplayer game of the year, but not game of the year.
Both VAs are perfect for their own respective roles and depictions of Kratos.
But I do find it kinda funny that Carson says he was "let go prematurely" when the reason Santa Monica went with Judge for an older Kratos makes sense.
Oh there's a demo on Steam for the game. I'll have to give it a looksie.
Some of the movement reminds me of Pseudoregalia.
Edit: I gave the Steam demo a whirl and it definitely feels like Prince of Persia mixed with some Mirror's Edge. The platforming feels really good. They're cooking!
From what I remember on it's initial release, a lot of peeps said to just wait for a sale and some fixes. But the game may have a lot of those day one issues fixed for the ps5 version.
Global economic strain definitely isn't helping the situation either, but I feel the mass layoffs will eventually start catching up to a lot of triple A studios in the near future.
If Xbox would announce a release date and say the game won't release day and date on PS5, then there would be a ton of people commenting on their social media about it.
Anyways, I'm looking forward to the game's release date when we do get it.
I just started getting some of western Australia on the chiral network in Death Stranding 2. It's great to be back in the boots of Sam again after beating the first game a few years ago.
Also I think some friends want to dive into YapYap to see how the game is.
Super curious for the deep dive down the road. But I do remember Infinite Wealth was promoted by Xbox pretty hard leading up to release so I guess it's not too surprising.
I saw this post earlier on Reddit and I think it looks great for a remake concept. I think the artist did a great job capturing the original art direction and keeping some of the squash and stretch.
Just a shame that so many IPs are just sitting dormant when a lot of people want them to make a return.
Great for the peeps that like Frontiers, I personally really did not like it lol. Maybe I'm just an old head with regards to 3D Sonic games, but I did not care for it.
Genuinely feel bad for devs that are super passionate for their craft. A lot of these big companies will just toss you aside no matter how much you put into the games you work on.
Wonder how long before Hulst's chair starts to get really hot. Shut down a studio a year after it's inception and before they can get any game out isn't exactly a good look.
@ElkinFencer10 As someone that has over 100s of hours in Unreal Tournament 2004, from when I was a kid to even now, I'm really sad that UT is dead. Epic had a great foundation for their revival by working with the community on a new entry, which is fitting with how much custom content is still being made for UT2k4. Just makes me sad it was tossed to the wayside once Fortnite became the juggernaut for them.
3 million sales after a week for a new IP is really impressive. Props to the devs, especially for getting patches out fixing some of the more requested issues.
Honestly if Death Stranding 2 didn't release on PC the same day I would be playing this lol.
Good to see they were quick on improving some of the movement issues. Reminds me of when CDPR added the alternative movement option for Witcher 3 that actually really helped with Geralt's movement.

Re: 'The Solution Is to Get Rid of Consoles': Analyst Predicts $1,000 PS6 and a Transition to Game Streaming
It'll never happen cause internet in a lot of areas just isn't fast or stable enough to be able to stream a game without quality or latency issues.
Re: We Hope You're Not Sick of Soulslikes, Because Mortal Shell 2 Just Got a Massive Gameplay Trailer
I never get tired of playing Soulslikes lol. Sure some are better then others, but the general gameplay loop is just so dang fun to me.
But this looks great and a big improvement over the first game.

Re: It Never Ends: Eidos Montreal Confirms Mass Layoffs Including Veteran Studio Head
I really enjoyed their two Deus Ex games, so it's a shame to see them suffer from layoffs.
Re: As the Series Turns 24, Fans Are Asked to Wait One More Year for a Kingdom Hearts 4 Update
“We are currently working hard towards the 25th anniversary."
I don't know why, but that's probably the funniest thing they could've said for the 24th anniversary lol.
Well, can't wait for the game to release for the series 30th anniversary.

Holy patch notes.
But at least they're quick on fixing issues.
Re: PS5 Pro Buyers Rush to Beat $899.99 Price Hike Next Week

I don't really have any interest in the Pro so I won't be buying one.

Re: '$1,000+ Consoles Could Become the Norm': PS6's Price Touted to Touch Four Figures
A console pushing $1000 or more is starting to get a little too much for me for one, and I feel the PS6 is going to be over that price point.
Re: Resident Evil Requiem Receives Much Requested Photo Mode in Latest Free PS5 Update
Photo mode is always a fun addition, I enjoy it.
But the note "Character expressions in some cutscenes have been adjusted to better convey emotion."
I'm genuinely curious to see a comparison video on this to see how different it is.

Unless things change in the future, the PS6 and Helix will be pretty dang close on price. I feel this just reaffirms it.
Re: Crimson Desert (PS5) - A Generational Open World Buried in Early Access Cruft
From what I've seen on the game, waiting for some things to be cleaned up and possibly some QoL fixes patched in is the best idea.

Re: Despite PS5 Hits, Sony Sinks to 21st in Metacritic's Publisher Rankings
Death Stranding 2 and Yotei are great games, but it is kinda funny that the PC port of Last of Us 2 is their highest rated game last year.
Re: PS5's Dynamic Pricing Debacle Appears to Extend to the US Now
I personally think the whole dynamic pricing thing is pretty scummy and a terrible idea.
