Re: Sony Scrubs Most Mentions of GTA 6 'Playing Best' on PS5

Let 'em have it comments, they made a claim and had to backpedal on it, let 'em have it. Get out the pitchforks.

Jokes aside, the PS5 Pro should be able to utilize PSSR to handle 60 fps without losing much graphic fidelity, but I'm genuinely curious how the game will translate to the base PS5.

Re: Opinion: The PS6 Cannot Come Out in This Era of $1,000+ Consoles

There's been some talk around the leak grapevine that Sony still wants to target a 2027 release for the PS6. If they do stick with that, I can imagine the PS6 being priced pretty high for a console.

Only thing people can do if that happens, is wait until a price drop when things start to calm down after a few years.

Usually the only people that buy drives bigger then 4tb are people that do a ton of data backups/archiving, but they find deals on drives and don't usually run to the newest, most expensive drive.

I've seen them find 20tb drives for just under a thousand dollars in some cases.

I was never the biggest fan of Phil Spencer during his tenure with Xbox, and now seeing how the purchasing spree they went on when he was the head honcho is falling apart, I feel my lack of faith in him was justified.

I do hope Xbox, and the studios that are facing imminent issues, can turn things around in the near future.

@Vertere What part of "integrate them into Valve" don't you get? Valve doesn't do external contracts or interns, they only hire full-time employees, and according to Linkedin, they have about 200-500 employees. Also Valve employees make more money then employees at Microsoft and Google. They're treated very well for their talents.

Also bruhhhhhhhhh Epic Games is owned by Tim Sweeney, who is the prime example of a greedy corpo.

@Vertere Valve actually integrated the dev team from Firewatch into their own team to work on Half-Life Alyx, and they even hired the solo dev of a Alyx mod to work for them. Valve doesn't buy developers, they hire them to work for them like any other developer, and their success with Steam and their first-party games shows they won't close studios down.

Also Gaben uses his money and yacht to invest in ocean research and how we can preserve the life in them, which is a very smart thing to do with how things are going nowadays on our planet.
