Very well done! I've just reached this boss in my playthrough. Having a frustrating time even on the DualSense - I think the lock on camera is the biggest boss in Demon's Souls haha.

I have added Mortal Kombat X and Worms Rumble and have immediately regretted it.

It will be interesting to see what comes of the PSVR2 with new controllers. Very exciting times!

This isn't fair to the loyal customers who just didn't get their chance yet to own a PS5. I'm siding against Sony here. All subscribers to PS+ should get these games no matter what console they have right now.

People can say whatever they want. Xbox did come out swinging with the "most powerful console ever made" but it didn't sway me the way Playstation's launch line up did. Also the argument of "this game that was released years ago works so much better now" shouldn't be the main argument for buying one. Xbox would have performed better with a good first party launch line up, and I'm sure they'll have that with their next console.

I'm excited to see what the generation will look like in 3/4 years time.

After seeing this article and went and did the Planet Coaster free upgrade. No issue downloading the PS5 version over copying the PS4 version from the disc.

I haven't noticed as have been enjoying games with the Pulse 3D headset. I'm just glad my whole house doesn't know I'm gaming like the PS4 days.

Picked up Walking Dead Saints and Sinners for PSVR! Heard some good things about it so I am looking forward to playing this on PS5. Hopefully it's got a boost in BC!

My only complaint has been two freezes during combat. The gameplay froze for a few seconds in the first area of Boletaria, second time I thought it was going crash it went that long, but the game fixed itself. Hope this doesn't happen often. Otherwise fantastic game!

Very much looking forward to Hitman 3. Excited to see what they announce. They did get the Freedom Fighters IP back, but not Kane & Lynch. I loved FF on PS2 so that would be a great IP to do something new with.

It's sad that this article and its posting on n4g.com has led to some absolutely horrible comments from people. She got the job, and I wish her well. She does not need public judgment on whether she is capable, the only person who needs to do that is Santa Monica Studio. They did. She got the job.

@thefourfoldroot same as you. I've gone with physical releases with a number of games. I think down the line I will experience this kind of quick navigation as PS5 games go on sale but right now I cannot stomach full price digital.

Well yeah, I cannot apply a shatterproof skin on my mobile phone, so my PS5 would look like air-bubbled poop.

My order just arrived from the game collection. Now I just have to wait until next Thursday to play it! I loved the PS3 original and cannot wait to play this again.

@Zanao This warning is regarding the Spider-Man Remaster only available for PS5. PS4 version available via BC has no issues.

Happy to just play Nioh on BC, I don't think a PS5 upgrade is going to make me any better at the game.

Thanks very much @God_of_Nowt for answering questions in the comments about this, it has really helped keep everyone informed about the ongoing situation and hopefully calmed some nerves.

I'll be sticking with PS5 games when the console arrives on the 19th and then hook up the external SSD I have with the PS4 games to transfer a couple of titles over I need to finish.

I generally avoid having games running in rest mode and will power down until I know a fix has been put through an update.

I just got Assassin's Creed, DualSense Controller, HD Camera and Pulse Headset delivered. Hopefully Demon's Souls and Miles Morales tomorrow. I also just managed to scour CeX website for the Dual Charging Station, Media Remote, Sackboy, and Planet Coaster, all with vouchers I already had in prep for PS5 launch. Happy days!!

Pulse headset and HD Camera coming tomorrow from Amazon. Ordered an extra Dual Sense Controller which states it has dispatched but nothing to say it's "on its way" like the others.

@God_of_Nowt wow thanks for confirming what I was thinking about it. So this is likely why we don't see a faster loading speed for PS4 games on PS5 compared to xbox series x? and why some devs can't carry over saves from PS4 to PS5 when upgrading?

Microsoft are working with a 'generic' SSD and architecture so that is why everything is carrying over or loading that bit faster for backwards compatibility.

I happily bought some launch games for day one because I cannot get them anywhere. For games in the future I will likely be going second hand, I don't agree with companies going beyond $60 and still having micro-transactions attached.

This just made me think of PS3 architecture for some reason. Maybe it's the complex nature of the custom SSD, and how it stores data and saves for fast access, that means this generation's games won't be compatible with third party internal or external SSDs for some time to come. Like the game isn't stored as one file (game) on the SSD and is in fact several. My thinking about this was based on Sony saying there could come a time when you can download separate parts of one game to play rather than the full game.

@manux59 It's available for PS4 but only available on PS+ for PS5 and it will only be added to PS+ on November 12th

Interesting, but my jet engine might be headed for the bin after I get my hands on the PS5.

I think this is all definitely part of a firmware update that will be available possibly by the end of the year.

@Culjoseth The Souls series isn't a franchise for you then. I love these games and don't mind the repetitive difficulty building gameplay.

My PS4 Pro fan is very loud playing any game, and is now taking to overheating and shutting down unexpectedly after an hour of grinding gameplay in Sekiro. Four times it has done it now. My console is definitely on its way out, so I am very glad to see that the PS5 is very quiet. I will be glad that the whole house doesn't know I've turned on my console to play now haha.

Sony have said that upgrading the SSD will be disabled out of the box and will be enable in a future update. Maybe transferring PS5 to external storage will be added in that same or separate update? Probably Sony are thinking right now there isn't enough to warrant the need for transferring games off the system or want a error free launch.

@get2sammyb are you able to report on the streaming personalisation for Twitch or YouTube?
Also the fact we're playing with 667GB on the SSD, how did you find playing PS4 titles off an external SSD and leaving the internal drive for PS5 titles?

So January will have Hitman 3 taking up a big chunk of the drive as an ongoing service game, so I'm hopeful the store will start listing game sizes for PS5 titles soon. I will have an external SSD for PS4 titles and was also hopeful I could transfer PS5 titles to this as well, but there seem to be confusing points on different websites about this.
