I was hoping for a DR2 remake with all the DLC included, but I will take a sequel with Frank back. Loved the Remaster.

I mean it would be good in the long run not to just hear from most first party studios, when their releases are bookending generations now.

Halo - Combat Evolved Evolved - Definitive Edition

It would take a very big new gen exclusive, from a franchise I love, for me to ever consider jumping straight into PS6. I am still enjoying a lot of PS5's games, and even the remakes and remasters, ps plus premium releases, and all the games still to come on PS5, that I doubt I will ever think about a PS6 console. Considering the potential cost of one as well, and Sony back at their PS3 ego peak, I highly doubt I'd even be able to afford one anyway.

Having finished my first playthrough of SHf, I'm happy to say I love it and excited to see how much NG+ changes things. I'd be very surprised if they do show some things from Bloober Team's SH1 remake, as full production was announced not long ago. I would hope they give Townfall a good showcase instead.

If this is the same show I saw last year in Glasgow's Hydro, they didn't sell out then either, a lot of empty seats and even cut down on available seats before the show. The show itself wasn't great, and it felt like Sony had forgot a lot of what made them great over the years. It wasn't just Last of Us, Horizon, God of War, and Uncharted. So I was disappointed in the show.

I'm very happy with the game. Just going through my first playthrough now, its dark and unsettling. The enemy variety critique confuses me when there wasn't much in other SH games...

5 years into the current gen's 7 year life cycle is an amazing achievement, but I very much feel this is Sony almost forcing a sunset on PS4, rather than it happening naturally. I bought a PS5 day one, but have to admit that the current gen exclusives have been sparse due to the market share with PS4. Sony aren't doing themselves any favours by keeping the console prices where they are. I don't see myself ever purchasing a PS6, due to a massive backlog of unplayed PS4/5 games, and the likelihood that the cross gen releases will continue well beyond 5 years after the PS6 release.

I'm not waiting on the fixes particularly. I'm going through Silent Hill f at the moment and I haven't been distracted by the shimmering, but did notice it while having a good look at it. I have found a few noticeable frame drops though in the town area, when the general store has a number of enemies outside it.

Erm, its been up for preorder for quite some time.

Trying to avoid spoilers as much as possible, but I am loving the game so far. I actually like the combat, I think getting the counter right is annoying some. I'm just glad to see the franchise back on consoles as well, and looking forward to the next Remake and Townfall.

It has my interest.

I bought the PS5 Pro thinking this will be my final console, as I fully expect a very extended overlap of simultaneous releases on PS5/6, much longer than there was with PS4/5 releases. I've got enough of a backlog to take my time.

This is a terrible replacement for what we had. Playstation Stars was an okay program, but they didn't do enough with it.

I think Volume 2 needs to be released before any other remake. Though I would love to see Peace Walker get a full remake.

I thought Venom Spin off and the SM2 DLC were cancelled, due to the leaked Insomniac documents.

I'm just hoping that Part 3 is PS5 gen and we have all of them on one platform.

I've restarted a playthrough of this and Ground Zeroes just recently and I am really enjoying it.

I have been really hopeful this will appear on PS5, as had a play of SoD2 on game pass some time ago on the backbone.

Happy for me and my wallet to wait. Got Tomb Raider IV-VI coming out around the same time, so picking up that to enjoy while waiting on the physical release of this.

Glad I waited! £35 for the physical copy isn't bad.

@LogicStrikesAgain not entirely. I have read elsewhere that indie devs cannot dictate when their games go on sale on the PS store, and only allocated to certain sales. Don't know if that was resolved.

Is this getting a physical release like the first one?

I just bought myself a PS5 Pro and I think that's it for me. If I ever finish the backlog of games already on this system, I'll maybe think about another upgrade, but that will probably be at least halfway into another generation.

Gears of War for me.

Day one. Cannot wait! I do hope for a psvr2 mode, but don't mind if they don't. I want to hope that referencing Outbreak, they'll be remastering those multiplayer games. That was the only time they've got multiplayer RE right.

Can't believe we got Pragmata gameplay, i thought that game was dead. Romeo is a Dead Man looks insane. Silent Hill f looks great. Very happy with the show!

Now for Summer Game Fest. ..

The game and franchise had so much potential. The lore and and story was great, but they basically packaged the prologue as the first game. It was so short and ended just when it should have been starting.

Great to see it. I'm kind of hoping they'll do a trophy list for Phantom Menace now.

He's in his 60's and these games take years to make now. He's now in an agreement with Xbox and Sony for two other IPs, so I can understand he might be taking a back seat if another Death Stranding was to be made.

I Loved this game and it was such an idiotic decision to shut the studio down.

Your article pretty much reflected my experience and feelings on the show. Featuring Shadow of the Colossus and The Last Guardian in their showreel at the start meant later disappointed. But yes, it was definitely a celebration of the last two gens rather than 30 years of Playstation. Have to say, my favourite part what was Astro.

It gets to the point where it's like impatient people almost bully companies into announcing a game.

Graphics. Gameplay. Keep voice acting. Trophies. Perfect.

I think in terms of any of the platformers Sony owns, license them out for a AA sized adventure. I'm sure they'd sell well and get interest back in the franchise.

I'd love to see Resistance back for a well done single player adventure. How can Gears of War be making its 5th entry, but Resistance stuck on a trilogy and psp entry.

Very hyped for this one and the 2nd game's remaster. Hoping we get the third and fourth entries to build towards Way of the Sword.

Unfortunately, it's the only one of its kind. I loved it.

My hope would be socom or Resistance. Just give me a Division style game but it's an invasion of Resistance's alien race. Taking back landmarks in New York or London. Day one purchase for me

If all of Microsoft's big titles follow suit of no physical edition, I'll find it tough to pick up any of them.
