Here at Push Square Towers, we’ve kinda just decided that Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will get a release date at The Game Awards next week. We don’t have any evidence for that, other than that it makes sense. Right? In fact, we’re expecting a decent presence from PlayStation, with an Uncharted Movie trailer and potentially even a The Last of Us: Part II multiplayer unveiling.

But just going back to the Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart thing – it can’t be a coincidence that this massive billboard has appeared in Glasgow, can it? Sony has gone a bit mental with marketing in Europe, and it did even rename a London Underground station after the dynamic duo. But somehow this amazing set of signposts seems pertinent to us. Is the game close?

Insomniac Games did say that it’d be a launch window title, and the Japanese giant seems really eager to establish its next-gen console hard and early. January? February? We’re still confident that we’re going to get a release date next week, so let’s just wait and see what The Game Awards bring.
