If they made a PS5 curated game pass, where it is just Xbox exclusive content then yeah I would probably pay for it. Like how EA and Ubisoft have theirs, just a Microsoft one with all of their devs included, then I would take it.

I bought Powerwash Simulator on sale and then learned it will eventually get a PSVR2 mode, and have left it to gather dust until then.

@Kanji-Tatsumi it is already. There are a couple of themed quest lines that are behind the premium currency pay wall. You can earn that currency in game but it will take awhile to earn vs paying for it now.

There was a golden/yellow stargazer on the path of the pilgrim area, that when investigated said "cannot be used at this time" - very much proof they've been planning DLC since the initial release. I have loved playing this game and on my second playthrough now.

I don't think it's a case of "I know there is", rather than it's a case of "I HOPE there is". The price hike is absolutely shocking, and Sony NEEDS to explain themselves about it.

The strike could actually help the aging of the actors between seasons, possibly matching the time jump between games.

I really enjoyed the first season, despite a quick run to the final moments in the last few episodes.

Sony just need to get a new Resistance, Killzone, MAG or SOCOM in development. An incredible amount of IP in their vaults that they just sit on.

This sold the show way better than the first clip we got.

Can someone explain why Microsoft pay for a period of time not to have the game announced for other platforms? I remember they got a lot of flack for Rise of the Tomb Raider back in the day, but 48 hours exclusivity? Why is that a thing? I'm not rushing out to buy an Xbox in that 48. hours...

@grimgaming don't count your chickens until they've glitched, mate. Can't define a generation with something labelled "Skyrim in space", and with a 'modified' creation engine to boot. I'd be worried about what state it will launch in first and foremost.

"Solid" Xbox Showcase shows us three exclusive games we already knew about with a new vague release date and an extended look at one exclusive game releasing later this year. Sounds exactly like the Playstation Showcase lol

I'm surprised Sony didn't come out with a "also releasing on PS5" image like Microsoft did...because a number of third party stuff shown will be coming our way. The three xbox first party games shown looked okay, and still a while to wait for any of those, so I'm not giving up on Sony any time soon. I do hope this gives Sony the kick up the bum to show off games that are more than a year away.

It's a fair argument that I hadn't considered for awhile. I usually wait until a sale for digital purchase, but having the competition of retail codes would mean a better market for the consumers with new releases.

I would love Konami to do the same as they have with MGS and release a collection of the original games. Even include the PSP and PS3 titles.

Having just announced the backbone for Android, the only selling points are the bigger screen and, you would hope, fast WiFi connection?

The only prediction/hope for the showcase is Astro Bot Rescue Mission PSVR2 update.

I've really enjoyed the game and have reached the point of no return, so have been mopping up the fishing trophies. I might hold off playing for awhile and enjoy these upcoming updates, as have loved just going around the world.

@Martijn87 are you of an age when we had to wait for the PS2 version of the original release? This had a lot more added to it, compared to the GameCube release when it made its debut. We got Mercenaries and Separate Ways added to the package at no extra cost. I'd be complaining more about the additional costumes that are behind a paywall for the remake's release.

Have seen this played on NoClip Crew YouTube channel and they rave about this. I will definitely pick it up as needing a break from massive open world games.

Ok let's have Microsoft buy Activision and put everything on Game Pass. How long does each developer last before we see the "restructuring" that Microsoft just did to their Halo dev? How long until the amount of Game Pass subs can't pay for development of every AAA title from all of their AAA studios?
