Happy to pay for more content, but might hold off for a discount unless there is some timed aspect to it.

I have my PS5 set up in my office, and I have managed to hide the PSVR box underneath with velcro tape. Looks clean and means I can just set up the VR whenever I feel inclined. Was proud of how tidy it was until I decided to streaming. Now that side of my desk is littered in cables haha!

First experience of the franchise was the Resident Evil 2 half hour demo. I fell in love with the series with that, and have played every game since. It has been an amazing journey and I cannot wait for Village.

It's resident evil's 25th anniversary so I am replaying the original trilogy on livestream. I love the series and would happily replay these games any time apart from 6

Such a strange post. This is a reaction to the last few weeks and not the months Sony has been leading things? Where's the studio acquisitions? They've got them, their teams are working on things and the releases are coming, but yeah we already know about them and that's probably why you are feeling the way you are. There's no big surprises yet, but rumours say they are on their way. Microsoft have been shouted loud recently but their exclusives are a long way off. Let's see where each of them are at in a couple of years.

Have to say that Obsidian was the bigger loss than Bethesda in terms of western RPG output.

It's all might and maybe for established franchises. As a business, Microsoft aren't going to cut off sales for an established franchise on another platform if the game isn't going to sell well enough for their subscription platform and on console.

Aye right! "Oh we were SO READY to show off the game and now we have to push it back further because of this leak! Shame this happened boohoo!" Yeah they weren't showing it so someone came to get it. Just show the game off and get on with it.

Getting the digital version for sure. I think this shows how third party devs with long enough access to the dev kit will be able to work the custom ssd compared to Xbox's standard SSD.

@Wavey84 I said I wanted Resident Evil Village on VR, which is RE8.

Backwards compatibility for previous VR games, Resident Evil Village receives a VR update and then Astro Bot sequel. That's all I want.

Happy to give it a try when they release it. Interested to see what becomes of it, and like someone else says, I hope the full game comes to Switch.

I think they need to start doing deep dives for individual games rather than these State of Plays. People just expect too much, and while some of what was shown was great, it didn't amount to much more than some trailers. Didn't learn much else nor nothing in depth.

I cannot believe it's the Friday before and we still don't know March's line up, but we know one game we're getting for April...

If it is that's fine. It will free up shelf space and I can put the disc edition into cex. Iam thinking it's gonna be Mortal Shell though with the well timed PS5 upgrade.

Metal Gear - nobody can touch that franchise without Kojima involved. Sorry Konami. Even remakes would expect that Kojima touch. They are wrapped together with a bow and that's it. Or at least no dev would want to touch that franchise to make a new entry.

Don't really care about another Castlevania or Metal Gear entry. But I do care about the rumoured Silent Hill games, one being announced this summer and one being worked on by Bloober Team.

Not liking this price hike. I happily did it at launch due to this being the first out of the box. But now I'm building a backlog and I don't want to shell out £70 for a game. RE Village is £55 on the digital store and that is my limit.

With the sequel due, I voted for Horizon as it would be great to have them both using PS5's power.

What I am not wanting to see is the last half of the generation appearing on PS5 and resold as "remasters, like with Nioh and Spider-Man. So many third party games are heading to PS5 via simple upgrades. Don't try to sell me an upgrade for £30 or more...

Yep, bought it on sale on January 5th. Not even downloaded it yet. Seeing about a refund but it is what it is. I would be pissed off even more if I had followed 505's advice and preordered the Ultimate Edition for the PS5 upgrade.

Oh that sucks. But they are a studio who's efforts have been remaking other studios games.

1 day and 15hours to go. Just noticed the PS5 downloaded the PS4 version first! Now selected the PS5 version to download. It's good though cause I want to try the game in VR.

@Old-Red @DualshockInfinit you both realise all the content from hitman and hitman 2 is included if you bought the previous versions? So basically the trilogy is available at launch in Hitman 3...

It's so frustrating! I can kind of get it to work on the Playstation app but the desktop store is awful and there are never any prices or purchase options.

I mean they should have delayed but I think they needed to recover some of the development money already spent. I'm not surprised Base PS4 is in such a state since they were so restrictive with what people could show, even on PC.

Based on The Witcher 3, I have absolute faith in them to sort this game out for their fanbase.

If third party continue to sell at £50 then Sony will have to rethink their pricing. I love the look of this game, but I can't consider a purchase at £70.

I got more out of the Disney+ announcements than the Game Awards. I'm disappointed these Silent Hill/MGS remake rumours didn't come to fruition and I think I just won't listen to hype again regarding those.

Happy to see Returnal coming in March, though I felt Housemarque trolling the PT/Silent Hills crowd with the start and end to their trailer haha. The game looks great, it is looking more like a third person version of the games they've done before. Looking forward to it.

I really loved Ghost of Tsushima and I'm really glad it won this award. Looking forward to watching the rest of the awards on Friday morning!

Having heard it's a bit of a buggy mess without the day one patch, I'm not surprised some console sites didn't get review code. I'm not in any rush to get this game as I've got a number of games in the backlog already.
