They do look nice, although I'm very happy with my black and white ones. I just wish they were also bluetooth capable.

Ovecooked scored an 84 on Metacritic, and Hitman 2 scored an 82, so not too shabby even if they're not your cup of tea. Oh, and Predator: HG ... really tried its best.

I'm looking forward to playing Overcooked with my kid before he heads back to school next week.

Suffice it to say (for those of you not into baseball) that Ohtani is doing things in baseball that have either never been done before or have only been done by a guy named Babe Ruth.

This leaves me wondering if the movie itself is going to be loaded with more product placement than usual. I really hope not.

@Olmaz Totally agree. There are so many games that lend themselves to splitscreen yet it's nowhere to be found (Wreckfest comes to mind).

Looks like it could be loads of fun.

I don't care about added streaming services. I just want quality free monthly games and worthwhile discounts.

A rare two PS Plus games that my kid can actually play (PvZ and TWT2). I'm happy about that.

That would look great on the shelf next to my Simpsons Season 6 shaped like Homer's head and my Blade Runner Collector's Edition shaped like a briefcase.

It is very rare for a free PS Plus game to be suitable for my kid to play, so I'm actually quite happy that this month there will be two! And he's a big PvZ fan to boot!

For those of you who do end up activating it, I highly recommend For All Mankind, which is a series (2 seasons at this point) that is great speculative fiction asking the question "What if the Soviets had beaten the US in the race to the moon?"

@Robinsad Totally agree with you. My first thought when I read this was: "At the brainstorm meeting on how to retain customers, did anyone raise their hand and suggest that they could stop raising their prices every 3 or 4 days?"

I think "working to deliver a smooth gameplay experience" has become the mantra for a lot of video game studios.

I find the way Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart makes use of the PS5's abilities is what makes an already-amazing game even better. I've had the same experience with the Activity Card support helping me find gold bolts and spybots without pulling me away from the experience while I check my phone. The haptic feedback with the DualSense is also great, particularly the way the trigger button feels dead when attempting to fire a weapon with no ammo.

@Total_Weirdo That's awesome. Yeah, I remember those systems were something like $700 or $800 at launch.

@Svark I loved the CDO! I remember renting the system from Blockbuster, taking it over to my friend's house, and then we'd play Return Fire until the wee hours.

9/10. Exciting and fun with a great storyline and top-notch voice acting. Fits nicely into the R&C series. Graphically mind-blowing. This game feels like an evolutionary step forward.

I'm excited by the prospect of a PS Plus game that is suitable for my 10-year-old to play.

Happy to see Ratchet & Clank in the top spot. Fun to play and gorgeous to look at. It is truly a next-gen gaming experience.

@nomither6 There are many other ways governments are treating LGBTQ2S people like second-class citizens. More than 250 anti-LGBTQ2S bills have been introduced in US stage legislatures this year. Some of these bills:
disqualify transgender people from participating in sports;
allow medical professionals to refuse care to LGBTQ2S people by simply saying "It's against my religion";
allow business owners generally to refuse business to LGBTQ2S people based on their religious beliefs;
forbid discussion in classrooms about LGBTQ2S people, or sexuality, or even discussions about gender, even in sex education classes;
prohibit transgender students from using the school restroom or locker room consistent with their gender identity;
classify any kind of gender-affirming care, medical or otherwise, for LGBTQ2S youth as child abuse, which would be classified as a felony and lead to jail time;
attempt to undermine anti-discrimination legislation already in place;
and on and on and on.
Please understand that people who are part of the LGBTQ2S community are being told by lots of people in positions of power that there is something wrong with them, and they do not matter. And it needs to stop.

@nomither6 I don't think LGBTQ2S people are trying to "seek approval from society"; they're just trying to live their lives. But it's hard to when the government makes laws that forbids them from doing things that all other people are allowed to do. Or when they get attacked or murdered because of who they are.
You may not care about marriage, but it is a right that all hetero people are entitled to, and have always been entitled to, without question. So it should be with everyone else.
