Re: PSVR2 Price: How Much Will It Cost?

@Fuzzymonkeyfunk I could see it if the controllers only enhanced the experience but you didn't actually need them (which I don't think is the case), because that would be a pretty crappy thing to charge extra for something that's required for the thing to function. But then, I remember a couple of years back when I was in the hunt for a new car, and there were a couple of car companies that had an additional charge for every paint colour option.

@LiamCroft Thanks for this list — great info for all of us sheltering from Omicron and eager to have some family gaming fun.

However, I need to correct you — you referred to Monopoly as "Everybody's favourite board game". I think you meant "Everybody's favourite soul-crushing, family-destroying board game".

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Thankful for in Gaming?

I'm thankful for my PS5. It has done a lot to help me get through the pandemic. Video games have always boosted my spirits, as a child and as an adult. When I was going through cancer treatment, they kept my spirits up, gave me something to focus on, and gave me a much-needed escape. And when I defeated cancer, they were there to help me enjoy my victory lap.

@playstation1995 I think you and I have followed a very similar video game path. I started my video game love affair in the 80s, too, have never let up, and never intend to. I'm sure I'll be playing them in the old folks home some day. Respect and good wishes to you and yours.

Re: Poll: Rate Your Favourite PS3 Games

hobbes242

For me, the PS3 was mainly about these things:
1. Anything involving a Lombax and a robot
2. Games with unique controllers (Rock Band, Guitar Hero, Buzz!)
3. All the LEGO games (except for Indiana Jones 2 and the Star Wars games that came after the The Complete Saga)
4. All things Assassin's Creed
5. The Batman Arkham games
6. Innovation in how games are played (Heavy Rain, Limbo, etc.)

@johncalmc It's one of those rare situations where I'm glad I watched the movie before I read the book, because it's so different, and I think if you're a fan of the book going into the movie, it could really tick you off.
I have to add that having Richard Dawson as the shady game show host was a brilliant casting move.
