Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 607

Not much time to play games today. We went to Liverpool comic con and got to see Emilia "Khaleesi" Clarke. My son who has been dealing with a brain tumor, was especially excited to see her, as he was aware that she went through her own serious brain trauma too. And she was just as lovely in person. I also got to see the main voice actors from Baldurs Gate 3, which was awesome. And at least linked to gaming too. Haha But my sons were ultimately more excited to meet Dave McCormack and Melanie Zanetti, who some may be aware voice Bandit & Chilli from the TV show Bluey!

Re: New PlayStation Rewards Program to Offer Exclusive Merch, Starts Today

I mean the pin does look pretty neat. But not a fan of how they are marketing it as "rewards". It just feels like they are gatekeeping merch. Would have been a better spin if they just released the merch to buy and you can grab a discount on them if you have completed the game and/or platinumed it. Would have made it look better in my eyes at least.

I am deep into Hades and loving it. But that final boss is owning me currently. Will keep on with it though, as it really is one of those "Just one more run" type of games. Then also restarted Final Fantasy XII via my PS Portal. As I put it on hold when 16 released, then never picked it back up again. Just now have the sudden urge to jump back in. Happy Gaming All.

@Kraven platinum is pretty much just story related quests and complete all the guilds. It's a fun and pretty relaxing journey in all honesty. Nothing too strenuous. I haven't come across being time gated from any quests/trophies. But still need to start the Brotherhood quest line, so hopefully that isn't an issue. Overall I would definitely recommend it. It's still a timesink by itself. But overall a very chill journey.

Re: The Last of Us Season 2's Strangest Scene Was Cut from the Game

JonnyAces

Yeah I enjoyed the show overall. But that one scene was really jarring. Like the scars wouldn't have just let her go. They would have just dispatched her quickly instead of lynching. Why would they leave - what they thought was - a wolf and potential threat Alive to go and help with another potential threat. Made no sense. It added nothing to the arc of the episode either, as she just upped and went back to the aquarium anyway. Felt needless and really pulled me out of the show slightly. Everything else I enjoyed though.

Re: Oblivion Remastered: Everything New and All Changes Compared to the Original Oblivion

@shogunRok not sure if mentioned in the comments already, but I believe the race origins actually do slightly impact your character stats. As I created an imperial and the right origin option gave me an increase in Willpower, whilst the other gave something else (can't remember what it was though). So not sure if it's a big difference but definitely does impact it in some way.

Re: Sony Reportedly Gearing Up to Sell You The Last of Us on PS5 One More Time

@BAMozzy read again mate. I was hoping they release it as a standalone multiplayer not a live service game. Akin to the original factions they attached with the original Last Of Us game.
I understand the live version game has been cancelled. I was not wishing for a live service game. Just an updated Factions game. And as my post also insinuated, it was me praying in hope rather than thinking it was a realistic chance. Anyways, good day and happy gaming
