Upcoming mech-based action RPG Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion has just dropped a playable PS5 demo on the PS Store.
Said demo weighs in at a somewhat hefty 18GB, but it does apparently cover the game's entire opening chapter. And yes, you can transfer your progress to the finished product when it launches next month, on the 5th September.
For those out of the loop, Titanic Scion is a combat-heavy sci-fi adventure in which you take on various missions across large maps. You salvage and purchase new parts for your trusty mech as you go, which allows you to take on increasingly dangerous objectives.

The original Daemon X Machina was a Nintendo Switch exclusive that was fairly well received. Basically, everything we've heard about this sequel sounds like it's aiming for bigger and better across the board.
