Re: Yoshida: I Played The Last of Us Online And It Was Great

We can only hope @get2sammyb
This was at one point my most anticipated release after TLOU part 2 released. I hope they can do something with the assets. Even if it's just releasing it as a self sufficient multiplayer mode without the live service. Factions was a fantastic online mode as it was already.

Re: Poll: What Were Your Favourite PS5 Games from State of Play?

JonnyAces

There were alot I was interested in. But the top for me was...
Directive 8020 - the Thing vibes really pulled me in.
Saros - Another housemarque game with Returnal vibes. Sold.
Split Fiction - loving the sci fi/fantasy mix and they always do great co-op.

Then honourable mentions include a new Shinobi game, Tides Of Annihilation and the new Onimusha game.

Re: The Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered PS5 Trophies Are Once Again a Mess

JonnyAces

@LavenderShroud to be fair this is an implementation by Sony to add Trophies on their system, as encouragement to engage their games. Which alot of people took to and started collecting as a hobby. Similar to anyone who enjoys collecting other things, like stamps, dvds, coins etc. it's a hobby for them and not for anyone else to knock. But I can understand why they would get frustrated when they are not implemented well.

Just completed 100% trophies for Uncharted 2. So will be moving onto 3 now. Start with Brutal difficulty, then the speed run and misc trophies. Also doing Tomb Raider Definitive Edition multiplayer boosting with a few like minded hunters. Makes the grind slightly more tolerable when you can party chat whilst doing it. Happy Gaming All.

Still going through collecting all the trophies for the Uncharted series. Currently blasting through Uncharted 2 remaster on Brutal difficulty. The difficulty of brutal is no joke either. Getting spawn locked instant deaths is one hell of a way of making a game challenging. But I am still having a lot of fun with it. The series is amongst my all time favourites. As well as grinding out the last few trophies for UFL. Want to get the platinum for that as quick as possible, so I don't have to play it ever again. Happy Gaming All.

Re: The State of the UK's Physical Games Market Might Explain PS5 Pro's Lack of Disc Drive

JonnyAces

@Barryburton97 not saying it hasnt completely died out. But CEX are kind of the only place to go for trade ins now on the high street, so they can create their own prices without too much competition. Doesn't feel the same as back when you had Game, GameStop, cash converters all doing trade ins. The prices were much more competitive back then. And trade in market felt healthier. It's clearly dying down for sure, which was my point.

Re: More Than 6,000 PS5, PS4 Games Discounted in Monstrous PS Store Sale

Smaller games are the way to go. My name is Pedro at £3.99 is a great deal. As well as Tinykins (£3.99), which my 7 year old son adores. Nexomon Extinction (£3.19) is a great Pokémon clone for the playstation. I am also interested in Brothers a tale of two sons remake at £7.99 and the Quarry at £8.44. All the above are sub £10 individually. Whichever you decide to choose... May the backlog be ever in your favour. Happy Gaming All.

As some of you are aware, my son currently has a brain tumor and undergoing therapy to sort it out. Unfortunately he was rushed into hospital with low pressure hydrocephalus. Therefore my gaming time will be none existent this weekend. However I will enjoy reading what y'all will be playing. Happy Gaming All.

In that place where I have now fully completed the games I was playing. Platinumed and all. Therefore, struggling to decide on a new game to fully invest my time with. Currently dipping my toe into Bloodstained: Ritual of The Night. And then also Middle-Earth Shadow of War. Happy Gaming All.

Having recently watched the excellent Alien Romulus film. I have started the Alien Isolation game. I dropped it in 2014 as it was unbearably tense. It still remains a nerve wracking game where you feel like you are constantly looking over your shoulder in fear. But I am loving it so much. Amanda Ripley's story is really interesting and would love a sequel or even an adaptation. I would argue that the xenomorph in this game is up there as an iconic boss. Something so fear inducing, knowing its unkillable and it's random AI decisions. Also playing Multi versus with my sons. Happy Gaming All
