I am okay with this. Have plenty of games to play in meantime. And means they can focus on making it as polished as possible. I for one, am still looking forward to it's release.
I have actually pre ordered it. I do enjoy Ubisoft games. Even when they feel cookie cutter at times. And I have for the most part utilised their big discounts, for the games I purchased. So it only feels right I support this one on release. And still feel overall I got my money's worth based on past purchases combined.
We can only hope @get2sammyb This was at one point my most anticipated release after TLOU part 2 released. I hope they can do something with the assets. Even if it's just releasing it as a self sufficient multiplayer mode without the live service. Factions was a fantastic online mode as it was already.
There were alot I was interested in. But the top for me was... Directive 8020 - the Thing vibes really pulled me in. Saros - Another housemarque game with Returnal vibes. Sold. Split Fiction - loving the sci fi/fantasy mix and they always do great co-op.
Then honourable mentions include a new Shinobi game, Tides Of Annihilation and the new Onimusha game.
@LavenderShroud to be fair this is an implementation by Sony to add Trophies on their system, as encouragement to engage their games. Which alot of people took to and started collecting as a hobby. Similar to anyone who enjoys collecting other things, like stamps, dvds, coins etc. it's a hobby for them and not for anyone else to knock. But I can understand why they would get frustrated when they are not implemented well.
@nessisonett @xDD90x Agreed between the trophy lists and not being able to support folders. It feels like such a misstep for the PS5. And I am positive his is something which is just easily fixable too. Considering the older gen console, does both easy enough.
Continuing my Uncharted series platinum playthroughs. Currently on Uncharted 3 brutal playthrough, whilst collecting the treasures. Then will move onto the speed run next. Also playing Marvel Rivals. Working on Tomb Raider remastered multiplayer trophies. Happy Gaming All.
Just completed 100% trophies for Uncharted 2. So will be moving onto 3 now. Start with Brutal difficulty, then the speed run and misc trophies. Also doing Tomb Raider Definitive Edition multiplayer boosting with a few like minded hunters. Makes the grind slightly more tolerable when you can party chat whilst doing it. Happy Gaming All.
Still getting through the Uncharted series. Platinumed Uncharted 2, completed it's brutal difficultly which is no joke. Now just gotta complete it's speed run. Then onto Uncharted 3. Working towards Uncharted 4 being my 75th platinum. Happy Gaming All.
Hopefully they can get the parkour right. And reach the heights of Union, which is the series best for parkour. Definitely felt more basic in the recent ones.
Still going through collecting all the trophies for the Uncharted series. Currently blasting through Uncharted 2 remaster on Brutal difficulty. The difficulty of brutal is no joke either. Getting spawn locked instant deaths is one hell of a way of making a game challenging. But I am still having a lot of fun with it. The series is amongst my all time favourites. As well as grinding out the last few trophies for UFL. Want to get the platinum for that as quick as possible, so I don't have to play it ever again. Happy Gaming All.
@Jrs1 surely as much as Demon Souls right? It's considered by many to be one of the best games of its genre? I am not sure how much more appeal it could get
It wouldn't surprise me, if they are holding out to release it as a new release title to go with the PS6. Akin to what they did with Demon Souls and the PS5. They surely know a new release of Bloodborne would just print money.
Enjoy seeing Hogwarts Legacy still going strong. Hopefully can allow some real big funds to go into the sequel and give it some proper quality of life upgrades to improve on the original.
I am currently going through the Uncharted series to acquire all the platinums. Which when done, will make Uncharted 4 my 75th platinum. Happy Gaming All.
@Barryburton97 not saying it hasnt completely died out. But CEX are kind of the only place to go for trade ins now on the high street, so they can create their own prices without too much competition. Doesn't feel the same as back when you had Game, GameStop, cash converters all doing trade ins. The prices were much more competitive back then. And trade in market felt healthier. It's clearly dying down for sure, which was my point.
I wonder if there is a market or even technology in place where Sony can offer like PSN credit to "trade" back some digital games. Obviously not at full commercial. But even like 20%-30% would still be appealing. Don't think they'd ever do it though.
Still love a good physical edition. I miss the whole buying, playing, trading - rinse and repeat times of the late noughties. That has just completely died out with the current trend towards digital. But I do concede digital just offers an easier convenience. I just hope physical doesn't die out completely. Still love to find a physical bargain via CEX or eBay etc.
@breakneck speaking as a father, I used it alot on my PS4. Categorised them as one folder for kids games and one folder for adults games. Made it much easier.
Just to support a more underrated game, Still Wakes The Deep had a fantastic storyline. My personal favourite of the year. Blending the likes of the Thing with cosmic horror and Alien Isolation. A must play.
Oh man I would be all over this. I wouldn't even care if they just gave it a small lick of pain, added full trophy support and sold it as a Remaster. Would still be an insta buy. Have so many fond memories of this game.
Smaller games are the way to go. My name is Pedro at £3.99 is a great deal. As well as Tinykins (£3.99), which my 7 year old son adores. Nexomon Extinction (£3.19) is a great Pokémon clone for the playstation. I am also interested in Brothers a tale of two sons remake at £7.99 and the Quarry at £8.44. All the above are sub £10 individually. Whichever you decide to choose... May the backlog be ever in your favour. Happy Gaming All.
Looking forward to seeing everything y'all are playing this weekend. I am relegated to the Switch. Whilst I stay in hospital with my son. Happy Gaming All.
Again not much game time for me this weekend. But I did utilise the black Friday deals, to purchase the complete edition of Midnight Suns. And a great bargain for Still wakes the deep from Amazon. So hopefully will get around to them soon. Happy Gaming All.
I literally have Aliens Dark Descent on my wishlist and was really tempted at its sale price of £17.50. Therefore that alone makes this a good month for me. Whilst my boys will hopefully enjoy TemTem, being Pokemon fans.
As some of you are aware, my son currently has a brain tumor and undergoing therapy to sort it out. Unfortunately he was rushed into hospital with low pressure hydrocephalus. Therefore my gaming time will be none existent this weekend. However I will enjoy reading what y'all will be playing. Happy Gaming All.
Will be playing Alien Fireteam Elite. As well as Astro bot with the son. Also just got the £10 upgrade on HZD. So will be starting that sometime soon also. Happy Gaming All
Started Alien Fireteam Elite. Which is a very underappreciated gem. Also tidying up the Spiderman DLC finally. To get it 100% completed. Happy Gaming All.
Finally finishing off The Division 1 platinum out of my backlog. Having fun going back to this old game. Whilst also playing Astro Bot with the son. He is loving it a lot. Happy Gaming All.
This is honestly great news. I remember buying the first when it first released. It only took me 10 years to fully complete it, due to the sheer horror of it. Cannot wait to take another ten years to get through the sequel.
@freddquadros @3Above cheers all. It's a long road ahead of us as he is being treated for cancer. But he is a warrior and getting through it day by day.
I am currently spending the weekend in hospital with my son. So gaming is taking a backseat. Will happily read what everyone else is up to though. Happy Gaming All.
Looking at continuing my samurai platinum journey with the excellent Ghosts Of Tsushima. With some Bloodstained chucked in there too. Happy Gaming All.
In that place where I have now fully completed the games I was playing. Platinumed and all. Therefore, struggling to decide on a new game to fully invest my time with. Currently dipping my toe into Bloodstained: Ritual of The Night. And then also Middle-Earth Shadow of War. Happy Gaming All.
Just finished off the platinum for both MK11 (PS5) & Alien Isolation. So looking to start something new and totally different. Therefore, may now start MK1 and Dead Space (PS5). Happy Gaming All.
Having recently watched the excellent Alien Romulus film. I have started the Alien Isolation game. I dropped it in 2014 as it was unbearably tense. It still remains a nerve wracking game where you feel like you are constantly looking over your shoulder in fear. But I am loving it so much. Amanda Ripley's story is really interesting and would love a sequel or even an adaptation. I would argue that the xenomorph in this game is up there as an iconic boss. Something so fear inducing, knowing its unkillable and it's random AI decisions. Also playing Multi versus with my sons. Happy Gaming All
This is an awesome detail. You can really tell Alvarez is a big fan. With the way he talks about the franchise. This just further gives me confidence he was the right man for this job.

Wouldn't mind if there was a separate option. Would make the single player platinum more appealing. without a horrid online grind attached.
