Another week, another edition of WAYP. Obviously, it’s always fun to consider all the new releases on the horizon, but it’s equally entertaining to take a step back and focus on what we’re playing right now. So let’s dig into it.
Aaron Bayne
I've been getting back into No Man's Sky as of late. The new Voyagers update is a lot of fun with mates.
Jamie O'Neill
I've just reached a speeding train section in Gears of War: Reloaded, which has a fiery dawn sunrise, so it reminds me both visually of the blistering sky on the freighter, and the moving train set-pieces in the first and second Uncharted games respectively.

I'm playing Ghost of Yotei, and that's all I can say. Sorry!
Stephen Tailby
Aside from yet more games I’m playing for review, I’ve been back on a Lumines kick. I’ll probably hop into Lumines Remastered and blast through Challenge mode a couple of times. I did also make a start on Lies of P, and would love to get back to it soon.
Those are the games keeping us busy this weekend, then, but what about the rest of you? We have a sneaking suspicion a certain song about silk may be entertaining a few of you.

The Diablo 2 and 3 craze hit me again
In Diablo 2 I have beaten Hell difficulty with the Sorceress, Paladin, Necromancer, Druid and Barbarian. Now I am working on my Amazon.
In Diablo 3 I got my Crusader and Barbarian to level 70 and I will be starting a Necromancer!
On the side I will play Silent Hill 2 and Skyrim VR!
Happy gaming everyone!!!
On PS5 i will be playing Varlet, Noctuary and Praey for the God's
On Switch 2 it's Star Wars Outlaws, Tokyo Xanadu ex+ and Bravely Default HD
Hell Let Loose and Viewfinder. Maybe a second run in Sword Of The Sea.
Have a great weekend!
Greetings fellow video game enthusiasts. I think I’m nearing the end of Ys X. I’ve also started Hollow Knight with Silksong ready to go. First time playing and enjoying it so far. Have a weekend everyone
Cronos: New Dawn or Hell Is Us. I can't decide! Both are brilliant.
Hell Is Us the first few hours really enjoying the exploration and world. Gears Of War Reloaded and Star Wars Outlaws
almost at the end of Far Cry 3, otherwise the usual: Helldivers 2 and Vermintide 2
chipping away at vampire the masquerade bloodline on the lappytop and i will probably try to finish donkey kong banaza. outside of gaming i’ll be painting some model kits.
Hollow knight silksong, such a good game, with great price too, it's about $10 in my country steam
Preparing for the superboss in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
I can't stress this enough so I'll say it again: if anyone is on the fence with this game, I urge you to try it! Even if you're not a turn based rpg fan, you will find something you'll love: the story, the characters, the art style, the world exploration or the fantastic music. I usually don't persuade people to play games, but you will surely find something that will stick with you after you try this piece of art.
I am going to Silk my Song since it becomes a Hollowknight.
Fast RMX on Switch. Pretty good zero G racer, perfect for short gaming sessions.
Finally getting around to Pacific Drive which I’ve owned for a while now. Was worried I wouldn’t enjoy the gameplay loop but I’m having a blast. Also the rain and storm effects are some of the best I’ve seen.
Also some Coral Island co-op. It’s Basically Stardew with diving. I love it!
Just a bit of Spider-Man remastered, which has been fun to swing on again. Have been playing the Marvel Tokon beta but I’m not keen.
Mainly looking to get up to date on Alien Earth which has been excellent.
Euro Truck Simulator 2: Delivered fresh fish from Innsbruck (don't ask me where they get the fresh fish) to Amsterdam. Bought a 3 truck garage in Berlin. Once I fill it with trucks and drivers I'll have a full garage in each capital city in the base game and will move on to the Going East DLC. After 72 days my Ziggurat Spedition trucking empire currently has 19 trucks with drivers.
Monster Train: won with Awoken allied with Melting Remnant and levelled The Sentient up to Level III Cultivating. Lost with Stygian Guard allied with Melting Remnant and levelled Solgard the Martyr up to Titanchannel III but found it difficult to get 15 stacks of Shard to remove Phased before the final wave. Replayed with the same clans and won, levelling Solgard up to Direchannel III. I realise these words are totally non-sensical if you haven't played the game.
Avowed: completed the A Path to the Garden main quest in Shatterscarp and reached Level 15. Cleaning up a bunch of side quests in the area before returning to the main quest.
F1 23: I usually play on the days leading into a real race weekend on the same track. Won at Monza and I'm leading both the Drivers Championship and Constructors Championship for McLaren.
Lies of P: have reached level 54 after defeating the St. Frangelico Cathedral boss and am working my way through the Malum District.
Beat Saber: finished level 7 in the campaign.
Hollow Knight: Grinding bugs in The Forgotten Crossroads and have bought the Quill and Compass.
I'll be playing Silksong and the Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls beta.
Had my first online match in Tokon... Won a very surprising 3-0 (I'm not that good at fighters at all) and my opponent just up and left!
I'll be back to Silksong later, maybe try some other pathways before getting my ass handed to me by the boss in Greymoor for the umpteenth time.
Have a good weekend everyone~!
Currently playing AC Syndicate it's the only AC game I've never finished bought the gold edition for £6.74 and im really enjoying it. I'm also waiting on Gears to arrive from Amazon still can't believe I'm going to be playing Gears of War on Playstation.
Nier Automata and Shady Parts Of Me !
Just Helldivers this weekend. Although my friend has been trying to convince me for years to play Hollow Knight, and since the sequel came out she's in Hollow Knight overdrive, so I might give the first game a go.
Wow the KCD1 is really good, heard it was buggy at launch that's why it was under most people's radar. Just love that sketch look of the Inventory and of course the whole immersion. I'll be playing alongside KCD2. Will continue my ACValhalla playthrough which I still haven't finished in over a billion years 😁. Plus some ER, EAWRC.
I'm having a break from racing sims this weekend (let's see how long that lasts) so I'm replaying salt and sanctuary and I'm going to chill out with no man's sky and try out all the latest additions. Have a great weekend folks 👍
This weekend i'm taking a break from video games. Just doing some cleaning to my house and watching Wednesday season 2, Twisted Metal season 2, and Alien Earth.
But i just finished two games:
An excellent game, worthy of Shinobi title. Great job Lizardcube 👍. Although i wish the Arcade mode has lives and harder difficulty setting like the Genesis games. Maybe in the sequel, hopefully. I also feel a bit dissapointed there's no gallery mode since everything in this game looks beautiful. I need four more trophies to Platinum this game though; boss rush mode, finish a stage in arcade mode untouch, get S rank for all stage in arcade mode, and beat the final boss less than 10 hours. Maybe next week i'll try to get these trophies.
I bought this game years ago and now i can cross it from my backlog list. A fun and beautiful platformer but it's a bit challenging with the limited control and lack of map. Great job Lizardcube 👍
Have a nice weekend everyone 🍻
I decided to give DA Veilguard another chance. I still think that the writing, dialogue and overall tone of the game is the worst part but it's pretty fun to play. Very similar to ME Andromeda in that regard.
I absolutely love Bryony Corrigan's voice as Rook, though, and Bellara is strangely likeable.
I'm still catching up with WoW stuff, but the temptation to drop everything for Silksong is strong.
I’ve got a lovely week of annual leave ahead of me, so I’m trying to decide how long I can stay in bed for. I’m still chasing some remaining trophies in Lego DC supervillains - I just keep getting pop ups and I’m looking forward to starting Discounty. Happy weekend all!
I will continued be playing fan favorite the incredible metal gear 5 phantom pain. Snake big boss is incredible. The graphics. The soundtrack.the boss fights. The gameplay is incredible.i will also continued be playing the instant hit the amazing judgment takayuki Yagami Greg aka gregory best name ever.the gameplay. the graphics.the story.the boss fights.the soundtracks is excellent. @Czar_Khastik Yeah I'd have to agree expedition 33 is amazing and I'm not into turn based games at all the last one played was pokemon red yellow blue on the original Gameboy many many years ago but expedition 33 is simply amazing the story the setting the characters the music, twists, gameplay!!
Hopefully goty this year!
I'm still playing through gear's reloaded and Helldivers 2 so that probably all I'll be in this weekend maybe some black ops 6 aswell happy weekend my people ✌️
Got other things going on this weekend, but continuing the Last of Us Part 2 hopefully, when I get a spare moment.
Haven't had a lot of playtime this last week so progress has been slow. However, had a couple of days off work Thursday and Friday so been catching up a bit. I had been expecting a certain character's phobia to be paid off at some point and nice to see Naughty Dog didn't let me down. Then got up to a certain section set in a hospital basement last night that was pretty darned intense... So that's where the thing from the end of Inside ended up 😅
Fair to say I'm still loving every second. What a great game.
Happy gaming all.
Mafia the old country. Enjoying what I've played.
May do new game plus play through of the superb Sword of the sea too
Got Metal Eden, so far it's really fun. Basically feels like a fusion of Ghostrunner and Doom, but it's very enjoyable even if it's apparently very short.
AC Syndicate - Jack the Ripper DLC
Shinobi - Great stuff
Gematombe - Decent mix of Arkanoid and Puzzle Bobble i picked up for £3
All ps5.
I'm working through Gears still and enjoying it but I hope to get around to Chronos New Dawn at some point!
No football which is rubbish
Happy gaming folks
I’m all caught up on everything else, so it’s Silksong. Then more Silksong. Then more Silksong.
Rollercoaster Tycoon 2
Platinumed Ninja Gaiden Ragebound and 100%'d Shinobi Art of Vengeance before diving into Silksong. 2D is life.
Well fellow gamers, so many games to play. I’m working on Hell is Us, Wuchang and Death Stranding 2
That doesn’t include the half finished Ender Magnolia and the First Beserker final boss.
And sitting in the backlog Unicorn Overlord and Rogue PoP .
Why are there so many good games??! I still would like to get to Cronos and Mafia and Doom the Dark Ages or Gears of War or Shinobi !
Continuing my journey in Half-Life Alyx. Inventory space is very limited, so I started dragging around every grenade and syringe I could find in this bucket.

Finally got around to finishing Thank Goodness Your Here, it's like a Northern English South Park "Peans, not quite Peas, not quite Beans" Also got the Vampire Survivors Platinum, which was nice.
I'm also playing Hollow Knight (I finished it on PC, but not on PS4) so I get in the right mood for Silksong. It took me a while to get back into it, but as soon as you get dash, it feels so much better.
I even played a bit of Dirt Rally with an ancient MS Force Feedback steering wheel, still a damn good game.
Silksong - damn this game is hard!
Bought Silksong the other day but I'm going to finish Shinobi first before I get stuck into it. I don't want to dilute two great games by playing them at the same time. If that makes sense.
Same update as last time for me. Final Fantasy XII and Hades are taking most of my gaming time. However me and my son are enjoying Zombies Ate My Neighbors together. A classic from my childhood. Happy Gaming All!
I'm playing Daemon X Machina Titanic Scion. The demo was great, I love the action battle gameplay, the story is interesting. The design/style reminds me of God Eater (making me hope there'll be a God Eater 4)
@ThroughTheIris56 Metal Eden was on my radar but so many other games released. I loved Ruiner and the studio who made it is awesome.
Do you think it feels any different than the demo?
Sword of the Sea - finished and platinumed! Such a nice little gem of a game, great gameplay flow, nice soundtrack, nice graphics. Really enjoyed this!
Gears of War Reloaded - Slowly making progress in the campaign playing split-screen with my son, and loving it. Sure, it shows its age sometimes but overall its still a very enjoyable campaign imo, but the co-op is what makes it awesome!
Also been trying to like the multiplayer but thats so much harder to enjoy. Its just not that Im not the best player but also its some wierd coding, hit detection and some obvious cheating going on that just drags the experience down a lot. Will probably not play versus anymore.
Robocop Unfinished business - having some fun with this. Its literally more of the same as the first game, this being a stand alone instead of DLC. Im missing the open world sections of the first game but aside from that its good. Im nearing the last few chapters so should finish this up pretty soon and then its time to play Indy again!
Silksong and some Marvel Rivals on the side waiting for the next season, maybe also a little Majora's Mask
With Star Wars Outlaws' story done and the game firmly in the rear view mirror, I'm glad to say that the original Death Stranding has finally clicked! Having a fun time delivering all sorts.
I really hope Mr. Croft is enjoying Ghost of Yotei-my most anticipated game of the year!
I finished RoboCop Rogue City: Unfinished Business-it was extremely fun. Basically more Rogue City, and I mean that as praise. More Rogue City is exactly what I was hoping for!
This morning, I started Lost in Random: The Eternal Die. It is a sequel very unlike the game that came before it. Lost in Random was a charming, short adventure game focused on atmosphere (it was like playing a Tim Burton movie) and story. The combat system was fun but pretty slight. The sequel is a rogue-lite, completely focused on combat and almost no story.
I was nervous about this change, but so far I am finding the combat slick and addicting. The first few hours are very enjoyable. Have a good weekend everyone!
What am I playing this weekend? What do you think - Baldur’s Gate 3, of course. As I sit by the campfire playing fetch with my dog Scratch, I can’t help but reflect what one day can do to a man, or in this case, a Dwarf monk.
My journey in the Shadow Lands has been quite an adventure. I messed around and found out because I’m somehow the savior of this disastrous locale. Throughout my time, I’ve told Marcus Falgor, this bulking man with childish harpy wings, to scram. He didn’t, but I made him, y’know? Afterwards, to celebrate my victory, I shared a few drinks with Thisobald. I used my monk’s willpower to stay sober while we swapped stories. I can’t say the same for him. Who knew beer could cause spontaneous combustion? It was a darn shame - I was enjoying his company. Oh, well; things happen.
Subsequently, upon leaving the tavern I got stopped by this gold blob - a toll collector by the name of Gerringothe Thorm. I didn’t like the cut of her gib, not one bit. She was too damn shiny. I convinced her to see the error of her ways and she responded by giving me all of her coin, including herself. It was just another day in the Forgotten Realms … so I thought.
In comes this googly-eyed weirdo; Malus Thorm is his name. What are with these Thorm people, anyway? Lady Shar Almighty. Anyway, I just wanted a touch-up to survive the evening. Instead, I walked into a hospital filled with undead nurses performing surgery on some poor man screaming in agony. Malus had a brilliant idea: having his nurses perform surgery on me. Are you a jester? We just met, you clown. I told him I don’t float that boat because I don’t let people under my skin until people are properly trained. He understood and told his staff to practice on each other. Let me tell you - they did an excellent job. Too good, in fact. That wasn’t enough, though. I told him practice makes perfect. He was confused, so I urged him to see how surgery feels on himself. That was the end of that.
So yeah, long story short, my playthrough is going better than expected. Me and Scratch are hanging out, playing fetch, and just mingling by the campfire before I see what shenanigans I can get up to at the Moonrise Towers.
Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots
Only played a bit of World Tour and Stroke play so far, but it’s exactly what I want. Great classic Everybody’s Golf gameplay. Only downside, the characters seem to have 2 different lines of dialogue, so after 20 minutes, you’ve had enough of them. Haha.
Also cleaning up Death Stranding 2 for the Platinum.
@ErrantRob Unfortunately I didn't play the demo, so I can't really compare. All I can say is that feels quite Doom like.
Wrapping up (I think) the final missions on Slitterhead… last week I said I’d struggle to recommend the game, this week a different story. It’s an easy recommendation, especially if you’re a fan of retro horror games. I’ve on the quiet kind of fallen in love with this flawed but totally unique game 😀.
All with a bit of Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition on Switch. First time playing a Xenoblade game and absolutely loving it.
Have fun all!
I finished Metal Gear Solid Delta last weekend, and was very happy with it; a beautiful and more modern remake that keeps the Kojima-ness of it completely intact. Wanted to do FOXHOUND rank and platinum the game before this week but I got to The Pain's fight and it was... a pain.
Metal Gear Solid V's 10th anniversary also got me thinking about going back and actually trying to finish the game. Incredible gameplay aside, hearing about the quality of the story over the past years really affected me wanting to complete it...
BUT! I picked up Hell is Us yesterday and I'm excited to dig into it! Also really wanting to grab Cronos: The New Dawn but I'll wait for now...
Need to jump back in Street Fighter 6 and play some online matches. Been a good while since I’ve done that.
I thought I’d be diving into CRONOS: The New Dawn this weekend as I preordered the physical edition of the game, but for whatever reason it doesn’t come out for another 2 weeks or so 🫤. Instead I’m cleaning up some trophies in the first DLC pack of Fenyx Rising in order to get 100% on that game. So I’ll be doing that and watching my Detroit Lions start their season on Sunday. Hope everyone has a good time with whatever they’re getting stuck into this weekend. Happy gaming all!
@Czar_Khastik it's a great game
I'm playing the outer worlds again with the dlc which I havnt played the spacers choice edition the dlc Is good I can't wait for the sequel
A bit of Silent Hill 2 today when I can grab some time here and there. Enjoying a casual NG+ experience. It's very cool out today, so it will be a good time to get some things done in the garage and maybe think about oil changes in all of the small engines.
Tomorrow, my son and I are heading out at the crack of dawn to get some fishing out of the way with some family. I'll need to get same trout tackle today and some stuff for the cooler (Uncrustables and mini oranges are the best fishing trip food) while I'm out and about handling my mother's errands.
When it's time to settle in for the evening, some kind of RPG would be good. I'll have to see what strikes me - might go back to Rebirth for the story, but I'm just not looking forward to the Ubi-slop radio towers and box checking.
Thing remastered. And Pinball Arcade. Want F1 25 for steam so I can PSVR2 but will continue with automobilista2 until.
Hell is Us is the main priority. It's so nice not being completely led and looking for all the secrets. Also, going to try and finally beat the Batman arcade driving game on the home arcade. I finally got a small numeric keyboard to attach to it for scenes where you have to input a code. Happy gaming everyone!
I beat Shinobi Art of Vengeance yesterday. I still have a few levels to clean up to get 100% on them, but that won’t take long. Since I’m wrapping up Shinobi on Steam Deck, I caved and bought Silksong, so I’ll dabble in that some as well. I’ve also been really enjoying Hell Is Us quite a bit as my main game.
Shinobi: Art of Vengeance
Everybody's Golf Hotshots - I am having a lot of fun with it!
Infinity nikki new patch and silksong!
I'm skipping the SilkSong hype train and working on finishing up HZD Remastered and Oblivion remastered. I'm not enjoying Triangle Strategy so I'm gonna leave that alone for now.
Just waiting patiently for Oct 2&3
Have great gaming adventure my fellow PushSquare Party members!
Tokon beta pour moi
Started Blood Omen 2, quite interesting game. I'm doing my last things in Uncharted: The Lost Legacy (PS5) to clear some space in the HD for a certain samurai/shinobi game I bought this week. And, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth of course. What a huge game!!
Shinobi for me.
And I've gone back and fired up Hollow Knight. Never did get round to it, kinda caught up in the hype or Slilksong, so will get through the first before picking that up.
I've reached the final boss in Shinobi 🥷 Art of Vengeance but clearing up the stages before I take him on.
Also Silksong, loving the game. I beat the Bell Beast and now just exploring.
I might play a bit of the Lost Judgement DLC as I'm a couple of chapters into that as well.
Have a great weekend everyone.
Take my time playing Silksong, I want to soak it all in and enjoy it.
scooped deadzone rouge so will see and having fun playing fun playing rise of ronin
It's not Silksong so no one cares.
Playing Sword of The Sea, cleaning up the remaining trophies. Also started the original Hollow Knight. So far I’m enjoying it, the boss fights are challenging but fair and all about knowing how to avoid their attacks. Great game but I don’t yet understand the hype but maybe that will change as I continue.
Continue playing Metaphor at the Dragon Temple, loving it so far, later on I might go back to play Tales of Graces F remastered or try out Stellar Blade👍
I gave up for now on Kingdom Come Deliverance, and am playing Far Cry Primal, instantly more satisfying and less convoluted. Please forgive me, but games do need to be fun, escapist and accessible. The KCD grind was really too much. I'll also dip into Balatro, it continues to consume time 😯
About to start Hell is Us shortly 😀
@Bentleyma Im playing both atm. Hell is us is a good wind down after a cronos session (I'm a scaredy cat)
Angry Birds Classic (Windows Phone) - Just finishing up these last four levels and this is beaten.
Gears POP! (Android) - Still progressing through my YT LP.
Battleship (Windows Phone) - Put it down for a week, resuming it tomorrow.
Silksong, Silksong, and Silksong.
...and I will supplement with Outlaws because people keep saying it's gotten much better since launch and I like a good auto-pilot game when I'm way into something challenging.
@JVCIOM70 Can you ride a saber tooth while impaling cavemen to trees with giant spears in KCD? No. No you can not.
Primal is the definition of a dumb fun game. I loved it.
I'm still playing Odin Sphere, just recently started Cornelius' book.
Hoping to have the platinum before it leaves PS+ Extra/Premium.
Wrapping up the Platinum for Steel Seed and then onto Silksong.
Finished Sword of the Sea. Lovely stuff. Trying out Lies of P. Not sure just yet
Since i built gaming PC two weeks ago my PS5 Pro is catching dust Currently playing BF 2042 for the skins for BF6 i have preordered on PC and some Forza Motorsport
Back to VR. Moss Book 2 this weekend.
I played a lot of Helldivers 2. The chaos and brutality of Superhelldive missions is currently way up there. Between burrowing bile spewers (bloated mostly squishy bugs who hide underground and just pop their tiny armored heads up out of the ground like sprinklers to spit a long stream of corrosive bile at the nearest diver), chargers (heavily armored, truck sized), dragon roaches (whose penchant for hovering and laying down a field of fire makes them incredibly deadly foes) and of course hive lords (giant acid spewing worms who are effectively the bosses of whatever level they are on and take several minutes of applied heavy munitions by multiple divers to kill).
Still, divers (even randoms like me) have risen to the challenge. Generally half the team focuses on killing and distracting enemies and half who focus on hitting the mission objectives. Often one or two divers has a mech with dual auto cannons. Good times.
I also started on Cronus: The New Damn. It’s creepy, intense and the fact enemies grow stronger by eating their fallen really forces you to strategize. You not only have to figure out how to most efficiently kill enemies (bullets and other resources are very scare) but where you are killing enemies in relation to each other. Killing four out of five enemies does you no good if the fifth enemy has gone Captain Planet by absorbing the different powers and the health of those you killed. I’m still early in (I have six hours on the clock though some fights killed me many times) but so far so good. Anyone looking for a creepy but intense horror action game along the lines of Dead Space and RE4 should take a look at this.
I also spent a bit of time playing The Wandering Village (a really wonderful indie strategy game) and GT7.
I am ashamed to say "Diablo 4"
(because, I wanna collect the throphies and be done with it forever)
I wish I bought Silksong and was playing non-stop on weekend.
I need to buy it a.s.a.p. an correct that mistake.
This past few days I’ve been playing the first Hollowknight (never played it)
And
