Phew, it's been a big week in PlayStation, with Saros finally dropping a few days ago. Has the latest from Housemarque made its way onto your weekend itinerary at all?

I'm actually going to check out Replaced on my Steam Deck this weekend!

I've been on holiday in Derbyshire during the last week, although I made sure I packed Sony's last portable with one of my favourite PS Vita cartridges, Guerrilla Cambridge's 2013 Killzone: Mercenary.

I've succumb to the anime open world of NTE, so I intend to play the crap out of that this weekend. I'm also going to dig out my PSVR2 headset to test out Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024's new update.

I'd like to tidy up the Saros Platinum if possible, as I'm pretty close. Aside from that, I want to return to Vampire Crawlers and really get stuck in. It's too fun!
Those are all the games we're playing this weekend, then, but what about you? Reveal all your gaming plans in the comments section below.

Work has been punishing lately, which has left me with a lot less energy for gaming than I would like. But hopefully I can get caught up a bit this weekend 🤞
Currently still playing Alan Wake 2 and Trails in the Sky the Third. On the final stretch in Third now. I've loved it but definitely going to be taking a break before launching into the Crossbell games to avoid Trails burnout.
I'm now playing the Lakehouse DLC in AW2 which has reminded me just how fantastic and eerie Control was. Estevez is a surprisingly great character (I love her world-weary gallows humour narration) and hope we see more of her in future games.
Have a great weekend folks.
Slowly getting my Arcade bigger and better in Arcade Paradise.
Managed to grab the Platinum on Fallout 4 yesterday as I left the game 2yrs ago with a couple trophies to get but couldn’t be bothered with em.
I need to play AW2 tonight but I feel I should play the first Alan Wake to know what the hell is going on haha.
Almost finished my first season on PGA 2K25 so I’ll be trying a harder difficulty on my second.
Had my first curry to beat me last weekend 😢 (6 pints in the sun pre curry wasn’t to blame 🤢). So trying Dominoes with the family and maybe a few sneaky lagers today 👌
Have a great gaming weekend Pushsquarians! 🍻
Greetings fellow video game enthusiasts. I plan on having a very Pragmatic weekend, if you catch my drift. I will also be eating plenty of Bananzas, if you catch my drift. Happy gaming time everyone.
I’ve been playing Final Fantasy 12 this week. I really didn’t like it at all in 2007, liked it quite a lot in 2017 but didn’t finish it and enjoying what I have played of it now. It doesn’t get everything right but the gameplay is much more involving than, say, FFX these days.
Maybe in 20 years I’ll say the same thing about FF16 because the first few hours of that bored me to death…!
Little bit of Far Cry 5.
Finish Rise of the Tomb Raider
Some gaming time with my 12yo daughter on Cats Quest 3
So a real mixed bag!!
Had a blast with Ghost of Yotei this week… if this wasn’t good enough to get a GotY nom last year, the games that did have a lot to live up to! Real close to the plat now, so will be mopping up a few side things in Watanabe mode.
If/when Yotei is wrapped, gonna move onto Life is Strange: Before the Storm. Never imagined that this series would’ve landed for me but looking forward to returning to it.
I have a pretty busy weekend but it will be squeezing Saros in whenever I can.
Mostly making progress in Soul Hackers 2 since I want to get the platinum before they remove it from Extra on the 19th. It is for sure a lower budget Atlus experience, but it's been a while since I played anything SMT and I'm honestly having fun.
On the side I'm also trying out Neverness to Everness, which is pretty entertaining in its own right.
I impulse bought Jet Set Radio Future on the original Xbox so I’ll be playing that on my Xbox 360.
Besides that some Devil May Cry 3. I also managed to beat The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask yesterday.
So i've discovered a new gory shooter called Trepang2, that looks pretty fun...I'm still on my run on the original RE4 - just nicely got to the castle...and i thought i'd have a run through Dante's Inferno....Such a shame it didn't get the love it deserved 🙂
While I'm still really enjoying Crimson Desert it's turning into the kind of time sink I haven't felt since AC Valhalla and having set myself a goal of playing through 30 games this year, the 100 hours+ I've spent in Pywel is turning into a bit of a blocker! It's even getting in the way of Marathon, which I did not expect.
I think I need to move CD to my game 'on the side' for now. Added Saros to the backlog, maybe that's where I'll start.
Have a top weekend everyone.
After not getting on with Returnal, I decided to say stuff it and got Saros. Played a couple of hours and have enjoyed it more than I did Returnal. Also picked up Crimson Desert so will start that this evening. I'm working through platinuming all the monster energy supercross games. So these are a welcome break.
Im really enjoying Hogwarts legacy lately I bought and started it ages ago but recently started playing it again and I'm hooked!
I'll play a little eafc25 aswell start a manager career with Blackburn so I'll get a couple games done in that.
Happy weekend to everyone hope you have a good one!
Finally got my Marathon platinum last weekend which took me over 200 hours to finally reach level 100. Polished off coffee talk and gardens between platinum runs so I’m a bit stuck now. Have first light preordered so don’t want to start anything big so may play some 3rd person action game to get me in the swing.
I've dropped everything else this week and only played the fantastic Pragmata - such a good game! I've finished the story and the game really grew on me the whole way. The story and interaction between Hugh and Diana was great, they really nailed Diana as cute and loveable. Also really liked the gameplay and combat, and exploring was fun! Even the virtual training missions was fun 🙂
I havent decided if I'll get the platinum, lunatic difficulty sounds like it might be to much of a hassle to be worth it and I dont want to ruin the very good experience I've had with the game 🧐
Have a great weekend!
On the Pro Saros played couple of hours and its awesome like Returnal. Also playing Pragmata, Resident Evil Requiem and Crimson Desert
Still playing Starfield I'm nearly 40 hours in and I've only done 2 story missions so far just been doing all the faction quests. I'm also waiting on Crimson Desert deluxe edition coming from Amazon can't wait to start it hope it arrives soon.
Alan Wake 2, I feel like what sort of scary drama have I gotten myself into, but it's great though, impressive art direction. Then it's more Hades 1&2. Mafia 3, just tryna plat this game since forever but it's still a joy to pick up and play. KCD2 will get in there somewhere, longest game I've ever played so far but I love it, still taking my sweet time.
Hoping to maybe finish Pragmata if I get time this weekend. Plenty other games to get through. I still have Death stranding 2 to start and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 which I picked up this week for £27.
Have a great weekend everyone.
Oh no… someone check on @Zuljaras 😱
On PS5 i will be playing some more of the excellent NTE and Atelier Resleriana, and start The Casting of Frank Stone.
On Switch 2 I hope to complete Pragmata this weekend and continue with Pokopia and Shuten Order.
Finally on Steam Deck I will be wrapping up Bullet Girls Phantasia and moving onto Dragon Quest Monsters
i’ll be playing microsoft's other dull space rpg outer worlds 2. outside of that i’ll also be playing stalker 2 and panzer dragoon 2.
@Th3solution haha I am on a little road trip with my wife so I am more than good!
Happy gaming!
Bought Saros last night, but only played 50min so far as the snooker is on, so will grab a few playthroughs when i can in between the sessions. From what i played so far gameplay is basically returnal which is great, cant wait to get stuck into it properly 😁
Currently going through the 5th biome in Saros and utterly addicted to it
Finishing up the pro course in golf story, and whacking some more hours into marathon 🤙
I will be focusing on the new Diablo 4 DLC. Having a ton of fun going through the new story with the partner. Then also finishing off the last few trophies for Spider-Man 2, for my 87th Platinum. Happy Gaming All
Saros, nothing else.
I will continued playing one of the best video games ever made in the excellent crash bandicoot 2 Cortez strikes back in crash bandicoot n sane trilogy. I will also be continued playing the classic the incredible sega genesis collection. I will be playing all the shinobi games. Revenge of shinobi first i will be watching my boston celtics 💚🖤 play.i will be watching legendary sitcoms TV 📺 comedy shows in family matters.good times.the Jeffersons.sanford and son.different strokes.the wayans brothers martin.the wayans brothers. Married with children and saved by the bell.word up son
I completed Aphelion. Short and sweet, not perfect, but an enjoyable game. Had the emotional impact that Don'tNod is known for... Later today, I plan to try out the PS5 version of Fallout 4 lol. Wish me luck! 💀
Started Immortals: Fenyx Rising from the PS+ catalogue back on Thursday; made it to the Temple of Gods last night (the hub area where I can craft potions, do upgrades and stuff), and given I now have 4 story objectives (akin to the Divine Beast quests in BotW?), imma just ignore those completely for now and go wherever the wind takes me for a while lol.
Happy gaming weekend y'all!
I've started Death Stranding and it's bonkers, as expected. It's also handy because I can go and do my weekly shop during the cutscenes.
Finished:
Playing:
This weekend i'm continuing my God Hand playthrough and also watching EVO Japan.
Have a nice weekend everyone 🍻
Snagged the platinum in RE Requiem and it’s my GOTY so far. I am also workin on Pragmata, Saros and casually playing Squirrel with a Gun. There are just too many brilliant games to play right now. I haven forgotten Crimson Desert either, but I need to get through these smaller experiences first.
Finallt, if time allows I’ll revisit Night City.
Happy Gaming all!
Shin megami tensei v vengeance. First ending on base game done last year with all side stuff up to this point so now I'm going for all the others and canon of vengeance route. It's either going to take me a while or I'm going to think stuff it and beeline everything. Brilliant game!
Continuing my journey through Pywel in Crimson Desert. Still haven't finished the story, but getting there. Too many distractions lol.
And -if- the simulator works... because the last update really did ps5 base (and pro too) dirty. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
Game was running great with the SU4 update. But with SU5... memory leaks run rampant. A real bummer. Oh well...
Have a great weekend everyone!
Like Sammy I'm also playing NTE. Haven't ever played a F2P anime gacha game before so I am confused AF.
With a nice long weekend ahead of me, after the worst month of my life. I’m spending my time with Rise of the tomb raider, laundry store simulator and Crysis remastered.
Playing Saros on this precious bank holiday weekend, its been awesome so far
Looking for some ideas here as I don’t have anything to play at the moment!
Watching some Invincible, reading Robin Hobb, going to a party. No specific gaming planned which feels very strange.
I’ve completed all my games this year except for one now and I’ve got no other pre-orders til Yoshi and Bubsy at the end of the month and after that… are any games coming out in the summer? Doesn’t feel like it, so… it’s time to commit myself to Crimson Desert for a long, long while to see what all the hype is about. I am planning on it being my main game for at least two months. Let’s see what happens.
Will try and finish Pragmata and get the platinum but still not got around to Marvel Cosmic Invasion which keeps staring at me from the shelf so maybe a bit of that too!
Happy gaming folks
**Saros**. Not enjoying it as much as Returnal.
I also hate Housemarques insistence of using the adaptive triggers (half/full pull). I've that mapped elsewhere now, but it feels clunky (even with the DS Edge). Charging the shield/power weapon feels like a mechanic no one asked for.
"Corruption" (max health reduction) is one of the least fun mechanics in gaming, and Housemarque saw fit to include it here.
Pretty disappointed so far.
No time for gaming, but if I'll rip off few minutes I give another stage in Vampire Crawlers. Or a few missions in WH40K Inquisitor.
I'm still on Elden Ring and Graveyard Keeper (in the evening). I've fallen in love with Elden Ring all over again, and I might actually be up for watching the film in a couple of years if it's not a train wreck
My two faves. My rig now I can finally show everybody and that's the legendary bozzer..eater of unattended ps5 discs. I'll be having a crimson desert Bank Holiday and I'll try and hit marathon with the guys in the evening..have a great weekend folks 👍
Hi Everyone
I’m new to PlayStation and just got a PS5 Pro Console. It was the most expensive console I have ever purchased but I am really enjoying the graphics on my TV.
I’m currently playing Days Gone, Hell Divers 2 and Ghost Busters Spirits Unleashed.
Doing the campaign on Planet Zoo hard difficulty. Pretty much learned how to do it all now. Two thirds the way through now. Unfortunately I have a hospital pream appointment first for cataract surgery 🫣
Control before it leaves. Honestly I’m not sure why people say this game is that great. It’s certainly not bad. But it’s not that interesting either.
Elements: Epic Heroes (Windows Phone) - Just kinda killing time with this, not really playing very often.
Trucking 3D (Windows Phone) - This has been waaay more fun then I imagined it would be. I was happy to learn there was also a version released for Windows PC/Xbox Store back in the day and that I also own it already.
