It’s the quiet before the Crimson Desert storm, which is good news for those of you who need a little extra time to clear your backlog. Here’s what we’re playing this weekend.

Back in WAYP 622, Ristar24 kindly recommended the Game Boy's Jurassic Park 2: The Chaos Continues on the Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection. Since then, I've pulled out all of my Game Boy cartridges, and I've enjoyed revisiting Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge on the Castlevania Anniversary Collection too, so cheers to Ristar24.

I think I'm close to the end of Resident Evil Requiem, so I'll be putting time into wrapping that up. I also have about a million quests to conclude in Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero.
That’s what’s keeping us busy this weekend, then. But where will you be investing your game time? Let us know in the comments section below.

Last week I beat RE8, RE4R and RE7. Now it is time for my LEAST favorite Remake of the series. It is a shame of how little they've put into this game It has its moments. Anyway I am about to go out of the RPD with Carlos.
On the side I made the amazing Resident Evil Village VR to work smoothly on my laptop and I am so happy!!!
And lastly a game I have not played in a long time! The Legend of Zelda The Skyward Sword HD. I might start it fresh as I have no memory of my previous play session
Happy gaming people!!!
It will be the AMAZING RE9 and completing my 2nd play through mostly all weekend. Great game but I really do agree with Push squares review, only read it yesterday. Great combination of 4 and 7. Grace is annoying though in the cutscenes, constantly got her head down when talking with people and stuttering 😂
Will also be grinding the excellent Medieval life simulator that is KCD for combat levels (hated it at the beginning but it’s slowly clicking with me) and the many other skills needed.
Football with a couple beers as standard 😉
Have a great gaming weekend Pushsquarians! 🍻
Marathon,marathon and a bit more marathon..have a great weekend folks 👍
About to finish the final boss in Romeo is a Dead Man and I want to platinum it I think. I’m also slowly working my way through RE Requiem and I must say, this will be a top 3 game for me this year. Otherwise Art of Rally as I work on the platinum, and I will add Minishoot Adventures in there as I’ve waited a long time for it to come to console. Really I’m counting down to Crimson Desert. Enjoy the weekend all!
Infamous Second Son replay
Pokémon Legends Z-A: The most fun I've had with a Pokémon game since Arceus. The Wild Zones represent a great concept that needs to be expanded upon as you get some pretty thrilling encounters. It's awesome seeing Kalos get some love (considering it never had a third release) and there's a great selection of Pokémon to catch, encouraging me for the first time to follow the series' call to "catch 'em all".
On PS5 i will be playing Monster Hunter Stories 3, Fatal Frame 2 and Marathon
On Switch 2 it's more Pokopia and Mario Galaxy 2
On Steam Deck I will be continuing with Bullet Girls Phantasia
F1 23
Won the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix with McLaren.
Hollow Knight
Defeated the Vengefly King in Greenpath and saved Zote. Now trying to beat Hornet.
The Outer Worlds
Finished the Radio Free Monarch main quest.
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
Up to chapter 13. Just finished the jet ski sequence which was annoying AF. Collected 34 of 60 relics.
On the Pro Fatal Frame 2 remake and Resident Evil Requiem. On the Ps3 Siren Blood Curse
I am trying to get the platinum in Death Stranding 2 by maximizing all preppers. Still having a lot fun with the game!
Resident evil 4 remake and a little bit of cyberpunk that i just started but I'm finding the game quite dull tbh
Marathon
Level 33, deep into faction quests and loving it. Got Arachne to Level 10 for free shotguns, now focussing on SekGen. PSN in my profile if you want to team up. Have a top weekend everyone!
The Sword of Ianna, maybe something new on Evercade.
And maybe Sea of Thieves.
Got back on Hellpoint last night after spending the last couple of weeks getting back on schedule with Mafia 2 and finally finishing off the Resident Evil: Revelations plat… and enjoyed my evening with it.
Gonna try and get as much of that done before starting Devil May Cry 2 next week. If I can finish off the plats on both by the start of April, I’ll be getting back on track after taking a month or so off.
Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown. Racing is okay in this game. Graphics, music and the characters are pretty meh.
Started Dead Cells but got not really into it. Dont know if I'll continue.
Hollow Knight. Started this after Dead Cells and I like this one a lot better. I am at the triple queen boss or whatever its called.
Its also carnival in my hometown so tomorrow I'll have a look and a couple of beers.
Have a great weekend!
I'm still playing Resident Evil Requiem, after about 30 hours and getting the platinum trophy I'm still absolutely loving it. I did the insanity run without the bonus weapons/unlimited ammo, so now I'm gonna have a bit of fun with the unlockable weapons and running the on disc version so I still have RT in the main Raccoon City section.
After that I fancy playing the original RE2 again

Silent Hill: Book of Memories. The SH2 remake has pulled me back into the series and I’m going through BoM for the first time - I’m quite enjoying it too!
After finishing the AW2 dlcs, I am now on to Gravity Rush.
Enjoy the weekend all
I got the platinum in RE Requiem last night so I'm back to finishing off Nioh III today. I think I'm almost at the end.
After that I'll get into Yotei Legends properly for a few days before Crimson Desert lands.
I’m spoilt for choice at the moment. This weekend I will be aiming to finish my first Nioh 3 playthrough, completing some contracts on marathon, bend over backwards to make Pokemon comfortable in Pokopia, breed some mutant cats in Mewgenics and get my second completion on Slay the Spire 2. Have a great weekend everyone!
Mostly Avowed for me this weekend if it'll stop crashing starting to do my head in now. I've also went back to AC Origins to get the rest of the trophies for the platinum and started a new playthrough of Saints Row the third.
Greetings fellow video game enthusiasts. I went for a walk this morning, which means I can game guilt-free all day. On the menu today is Mario Kart World and Final Fantasy XVI. Happy gaming time everyone.
@TimeDelayedGamer Happy birthday and weekend to you my man!
Out enjoying the weather today but tomorrow morning I'll be sitting down for a proper Nioh 3 session. Hardly had time to touch it this week, so looking forward to that
Just bought Marathon. Was listening to Summon Sign podcast and sold me on it
Today will be watching the rugby all day, then tomorrow bit unsure of what i will put on but maybe 2nd playthrough of resi.
MH Wilds, World/Iceborne, Rise/Sunbreak, just wonderful how you can play MH for 1000hrs and not even craft half of what the games have to offer. Then KCD2 - still savouring Henry's adventures. Plus the game that won't ever get old - Elden Ring, there's still that element of discovery because you can't remember where you picked what even after several playthroughs.
I will continued playing one of the best video games ever made in the excellent resident evil village gold edition. I will also continued playing fan favorite the amazing doom eternal deluxe edition. I will also be continued playing the instant classic the incredible ace combat 7 skies unknown. And I will be playing the underrated wonderful shadow warrior 3.and I will be watching my michigan wolverines 💛💙 and boston celtics 💚🖤 play.i will be watching legendary TV 📺 sitcoms comedy in family matters.good times.the Jeffersons.sanford and son.different strokes.martin.the wayans brothers. married with children. And saved by the bell.word up son
Yesterday I finished Trails of Cold Steel.
Sadly I was spoiled on one of the reveals in the last chapter, but still the end was really good. And man what a cliffhanger....
So I booted up Trails of Cold Steel II. And the story picks up immediately after the end of the previous title... and I'm really interested in seeing how this next game unfolds. 😌
Have a great weekend everyone!
I'm basically waiting to see if Crimson Desert is a day 1 for me so I'm not starting any new and big right now. I watched The Digital Foundry video on the ps5 pro and the game looks ridiculously fantastic, its almost hard to believe. But looks arent everything so I'll wait for some reviews but I'll probably dive right in nect week 🙂
As for what I've been playing then
Thief VR - I've finished the missions (and story), and really liked playing them. Its a pretty short game, but priced lower, and its built around replayability of the missions so you can get all challenges and such if you like. There is a story but that lost me pretty early and as I wrote last week, I would have loved for them to make it more like a traditional single player Thief game with but then its not an AAA game in that sense. Still, its fun and plays and looks good where it really matters, the missions!
Star Wars Outlaws DLC - I found the DLC was on a sale, so I picked it up and jumped in, starting with Wild Card which I finished last night. I loved this game when it released, imo its a bit overlooked, and it feels great to jump back in. I did a new game to get to play the opening of the game again, which I really enjoy and the gameplay improvements for the stealth sections really makes a difference, and then started the DLC. The first one was pretty good, looking forward to the A Pirates Fortune DLC which I’m starting today! Still love this game 🙂
Enjoying the loot event in Borderlands 4 although the constant trips to the bank are no fun but worth it to get full vault of legendaries!
Would love to find time for a bit of Yotei too and make it a weekend of legends
Happy gaming folks
My switch 2 arrived yesterday, so I’m spending my time with Pokopia and Dave the diver on PS5. I’ve got a mad week in work coming up, so I’m trying to de-stress ahead of it.
I’m playing the “I have to work this weekend” game. :’) But I’ll probably have my partner play Pokopia tonight while I watch since I bought it for us to play and we played all of 5 mins so far. As for what I want to play, I don’t know. I finished RE9 a few days ago, incredible game and it looked unbelievable on my Pro. I might continue one of the 15 games I’ve started in the last 2 years. Maybe A Space for the Unbound? I really liked what I played of it but to get the true ending, you have to do the worst mini games imaginable and that’s why I put it on hold. Also, I made a howlongtobeat account recently and it hurts seeing my backlog. I don’t think I’ll finish all the games I have before I leave this earth in 40+ years.
Replaying Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden for the second time, but on Playstation 5 this time. I might try to sneak in some Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart if I find more time. Hope everyone is doing well this weekend!
Tonight we’re putting Abiotic Factor on hold to play some Toxic Commando multiplayer, which looks like it’ll be a fun time. I usually also have a single player and co-op game on the go but I’m holding out until the 19th to play Crimson Desert and Dragonkin: The Banished so don’t want to start anything too big.
Pacific Drive: one more run... Few hours later: just one more run. Have a great weekend!
I have just finished my Insanity run of Resident Evil: Requiem, and for me, it is my favourite Resident Evil game. I absolutely loved it.
Now, despite telling myself that I would not be buying games on my Pro that I already own on my Xbox, I could not help myself when I saw Dead Space: Remake at a bargain price, and so bought it again, and am part way through it.
I am now telling myself I will only buy those games I love again. I want to be strict, but I am very weak... 😂
Marathon with my friends and Lost Eidolons on my own.
@JamieO Always good to share a retro recommendation, cheers!
This weekend I'm working today, but hopefully have some time to play the C64 versions of International Karate and Last Ninja 1/2 on the new System 3 collection (on Switch). I have a lot of nostalgia for those games.
On PS5 still enjoying Tokyo Xtreme Racer which is great, and started playing Dragon's Dogma 2, which I really like so far, only about 10 hours into the game.
Avowed. Trying to finish the game before Crimson Desert, but I would like to play the first Pillars of Erernity as well. Plus, Monster Hunter Stories 3. It’s a packed season for good games, I don’t know which will be next. I’m really enjoying Avowed right now.
I almost forgot, Diablo IV next expansion is soon and Pragmata as well. So little time for gaming…
Haven’t touched Marathon beyond the first area, I’m too afraid to be killed incessantly without a moment of peace.
Don't know yet, I may turn my PS5 on and buy RER and see what it's all about.
I’m continuing my Resident Evil pilgrimage and I just got to the Ada part of Resident Evil 2 Remake. What a masterpiece of a game. Even though I bought it at launch, I never played through it fully, only the original. I now regret that choice, this may top Dead Space Remake as my favorite survival horror game.
Planet of Lana 2 - Charming art, characters and animation. Lovely story that shines through despite the characters using a made up language. Puzzles better than the first. Everything is elevated thanks to a majestic Takeshi Furakawa (Last Guardian, SW: Clone Wars) soundtrack. It feels sumptuous and made me want to replay the first game which I didn't love as much at the time... perhaps I was just having a bad day. Recommended
Neva - Utterly incredible art design and animation let down a little by some overly simplistic gameplay and overly long walking sections. Good game though. Memorable.
Ender Lillies - Metroidvania that somehow stands out due to it's unique combat system - you don't fight yourself but use up to 6 spirits - and the amount of build variety available through this and the equipable relics. Bosses are hard but you lose nothing for dying, which is quite refreshing, and are soon back in the action, it's just about learning patterns. World and story telling are also engaging.
PSVR1 - Bought this on eBay after realising I had over 30 PSVR games in my library between purchases, PS+ monthly games and PS+ extra. All set up, a LOT of cables, and looking forward to testing it out. Thanks for all the suggestions last week!
Just finished Resident Evil 8 and have almost finished the DLC. Enjoyed 8 overall but felt that the factory let it down. The enemies there just felt annoying and tedious. Same with the Chris section where missing down multiple waves was not difficult, just tedious.
Miranda was a bit meh as a master villain as she had zero moments to make me care about the character. Heisenburg was probably my favourite as he was played brilliantly.
DLC is enjoyable but the twist couldn't be any less of a surprise at all.
8/10 overall I would say.
Marathon for me. I've tried extraction shooters before and dropped off them fairly quickly but this one seems to click. The combat is top notch and there's enough lore/interest in the world to keep me coming back. Played as assassin in co-op and really enjoying going in as Rook for that stealthy, sneak around gameplay. Really don't understand the hate.
I finally acquired the platinum to Diablo IV. Which I had been steadily working on during season 11. Then have completed the story for Resident Evil: Village. Which was the only one I had not previously played. Excellent game and a great way to close the Winters chapter. Now ready to properly jump into Resident Evil: Requiem. Happy Gaming All
What I’m playing is completely out of character: Marathon. Multiplayer games aren’t my forte. It’s been over a decade since I have dedicated any time to playing online with others, whether that’s cooperatively or competitively. I’m not even sure what compelled me to buy Bungie’s latest, but I did, and I am happy with my decision.
My first few matches were shockingly successful. We — randoms — managed to exfiltrate. I didn’t have my mic on so there wasn’t any communication, but we performed well. Did I have any idea what I was doing? Nope. In fact, I didn’t know how to heal; I ran out of ammo multiple times; and I didn’t know where to go. But we won.
And then I lost. Again, and again. But I was learning bits and pieces as I did. For starters, patience is key. I studied what my loot actually did. I managed my inventory accordingly. Subsequently, I took my time in each run throughout the various maps, slowly completing my contract objectives whilst wandering aimlessly.
The second thing I began to realize quickly is Marathon is a trial by fire - you learn as you play. It’s not going to be easy, and it isn’t meant to. The learning curve is very steep. However, if you can get over the minor hiccup you will be rewarded with an intense FPS that has high highs and low lows but not in a negative way.
To be fair, particularly to newcomers (I’m still one myself), Marathon doesn’t have a good onboarding. It can feel daunting with the amount of systems and mechanics at work. Its UI and interface make it that much more difficult. Again, though, that is where patience comes in. Learn the game within the game; don’t neglect checking out the codex, and be mindful of your challenges. You’ll find that no run feels entirely meaningless even if you die within a couple of minutes.
The one thing that should be hammered home for new players: don’t get attached. That will be the toughest hurdle. You’re going to lose your gear. It’s unavoidable, and it’s going to suck. You can, however, obtain awesome weapons and gear as quickly as you lose it, and that’s the biggest thrill.
It quickly became an addiction. I almost called out of work because one, I have the flu, and two, so I could do more runs. Unfortunately, my adult brain kicked in and convinced me otherwise, but the temptation … oh, the temptation was powerful.
I could rant on and on about why this game shines above the crowd. I don’t think the amount of words I could use would be able to fill up this comment adequately. Ultimately, as the game suggests, it’s a Marathon, not a sprint. Don’t give up hope, runners. Let’s not make this a Boston.
@Zuljaras RE3 was so disappointing to me. It's not a bad game I suppose if you've never played the original, but it's a TERRIBLE remake, ignoring so many aspect that made the first so replayable.
Potential GOTY 'Esoteric Ebb' for me. If they eventually add full voice acting - as Disco Elysium did - then it's already GOTY (so far) for me.
@themightyant I really enjoyed Neva and had a similar experience to what you describe. Loved it enough to complete it, not going back for the platinum but really glad to have experienced it.
@Kraven Great summary of the Marathon vibe, I am loving it personally and yes - once the gear fear goes away it's so much more fun.
Trinity Fusion

It's a roguelike platformer that I hear is similar to Dead Cells (still haven't gotten around to that game) and it's enjoyable so far. 3 different player characters and a ton of weapons and modifiers. The kind of game that goes well with listening to music on the side.
Also more Asgard's Wrath 2 on Quest 3, but I imagine I will be playing that for a few more weeks as it is a big game. Awesome game of course.
I'll mainly be reading to finish off "Empire of the Dawn" but gaming wise I'm in a shoot em up kinda mood. I've been playing "Chorus", "Minishoot Adventure" & "Armored Core 6".
Have a great weekend everyone.
I'll mostly be playing Doom: The Dark Ages. Really enjoying it so far. I might even attempt the plat if I can be bothered to do the weapon masteries. I'll also be starting Toxic Commando in co-op with 3 other people. I've played the tutorial and it seems like it's going to be a good time.
Sneaky widow Nora on a murder spree across Boston in Fallout 4.
@Northern_munkey Tonight Some Marathon? My body is ready
@Marquez Lets team up then 😁 Already added you
Marathon mainly with some battlefield 6 on the side
EDIT: even John from digital foundry seem to enjoy marathon (singleplayer guy) https://youtu.be/XhApJPSMWuc?is=EZdzrN1QYvc4gWIF
Playing a bit of:
Have a nice weekend everyone 🍻
After 116 enjoyable hour of Octopath Traveler 0 i jumped into AC Unity to check out the 60fps patch and started enjoy it. But then I teamed up with friend to play Ghost of Yotei Legends which is great fun! And I'm probably going to Buy Crimson Desert next week so I've got more gaming going on than I know what to do with.
Have a similarly great gaming weekend people!
Going for 2nd Absolum platinum. Beauty of buying digital gets you the game on PS4 and PS5.
I'm done with Clontrol's main game, side missions and platinum so I might give the DLC a go. Though it's starting to sound like I need to play Alan Wake before doing that. Control was a 10/10 experience, a rare gem. I might tend to my coca plantations and candy labs on Cartel Tycoon, or check on my dwarves on Dwarf Fortress or perhaps look for a new Playstation Indie. I don't want to jump into anything too big before Crimson Desert next week, Slime Rancher 2 is also a strong maybe. Have a happy gaming weekend Folks.
@Perturbator What wizardry is this for a GIF to be so crisp and fluid! Game looks great btw, thanks for putting it on my radar.
@Sanquine I should be around tonight, on most nights it seems!
I'll be playing GTA: Liberty City Stories. I can't believe I haven't played this until now. Doing missions on this classic LC map is so fun and takes me back to playing GTA 3 on my PS2. I love it.
Also been dabbling in Dome Keeper, a mining rogue-like on Steam.
@Globo Cheers mate!
Started RE9 on PS5 Pro(Wow) and the Alters on PC(also a wow). WAS tough getting physical copy for RE9.
@Hellaween I was also listening to Summon Sign about it this week! Are you a Sacred Symbols enjoyer as well?
Persona 5 strikers, it’s a great gem.
I'm pretty close to the end of the Burning Shores DLC in Horizon Forbidden West, so that will get most of my attention this weekend. Also, possibly a bit of Borderlands 4 in co-op with my wife, and I may start up Doom: The Dark Ages, if I have time.
Working my way through Resident Evil 4 remake right now and quite enjoying it. I had played the PS3 version of the game way back when it came out and never really liked it much at all so I had passed over this version when it released, but RE Requiem gave me a new desire to play it. Hope everyone has a great time with whatever they’re playing this weekend. No rage quitting!! 😉😂
Grinding out that Yotei legends slop. Had the full 100%, they took it away, now tediously reclaiming it slogging through this nightmare of repetitive boredom. Sony first party studios are truly the masters of ‘There, it’s perfect. Now let’s drive it into the ground post launch.’
It seems Pushsquare staff is hard at work because the last couple of WAYPs have been so low-effort from staff. At least we know that Sammy is never NOT playing predatory, low quality gachas (shameless ragebait-joke from me, enjoy good games your way Sammy, and thanks for providing an entertaining slate of content week after week).
As for me, I am progressing through Spider-Man 2 which is a brilliant game.
I am most impressed by
I don't have much time to play lately, so the selection is very limited.
@Balaam_ Sucker Punch are giving people more of a great game for free... and you're complaining because your trophy list is no longer neat and tidy? Definitely just a 'you' problem.
@Burnish1619 Vice City Stories is worth a play too, if you can tolerate unforgiving A.I. and some of the most difficult missions in GTA history. I played both recently and there was a noticeable difference in difficulty. Everything required precise flying, shooting and driving, Boomshine Blowout will forever haunt me and any game or mission since has been a lot more forgiving.
I don't know if you're using emulation or the original discs but this might hit you in the nostalgia. They added those booklets with each game, they had news articles/advertisements for in-game stores and radio stations. Posters too which double as maps.
@Balaam_ 😂😂😂
You have no self awareness do you? 🙈
Street Fighter 6, Virtua Fighter 5 REVO, and Final Fantasy 7 Remake, all on PS5
Likely going to continue RE9 and Darkest Dungeon.
@Marquez his entire life seems to revolve around trophies. It's quite sad, really.
Marathon and Spiderman 2. Both great.
Not sure I'll manage much gaming time this weekend. I've been very disinterested since my third Requiem run.
I think instead, I'll spend some time in the garage. My lawn mower needs new blades, and now that my dad's ATV is fixed up and out, I can start to work on my two that aren't running. I'll start with the Honda since it just needs a new battery, carb gone through, and an oil change. The Polaris is going to be a multi week adventure, so it's going to have to wait until after vacation.
If I play anything, I'll pick some more at Trails in the Sky FC before bed.
Have a great weekend, everybody.
I got WWE 2K26, so I’ll be on that. And continuing my play through with Rise of the Tomb Raider.
Resident Evil Requiem. It's fine enough so far.
@Boomers-r-us Have you tried The Invincible? If you like Deliver us The Moon and Deliver us Mars you'd most likely enjoy The Invincible. I played through it three times and thought it was brilliant. The writing/story follows Stanisław Lem's 1964 novel, both are incredibly intelligent, relaxed and rewarding. I was so into the game that I did read the novel and then tracked down a graphic novel that featured the origins of the game's box-art. I've never seen a studio do that before, it's a really slick game. The game's score is equally brilliant and it's a shame they didn't have a bigger budget for marketing. The box-art seemed to be the main draw for a lot of players, it's got that old and bold classic sci-fi aesthetic. I think also a lot of people thought it was a survival game, it's not. There's no combat, just one really well written narrative peppered with so many moments of traversal and memorable exploration.
I’m still on my Dark Souls replay (almost finish the main content, but I’m going to do the DLC first to get the alternate ending). I’m re-listening to the Bonfireside Chat podcast at the same time. DS2 has it’s issues but i still love it as a Souls game.
Have a great weekend Folks!
Marathon, it’s been really enjoyable so far
After finally grinding out the ridiculous 5000km trophy in Roadcraft and unlocking that plat I started my next run which is Hell Is Us. Enjoying it apart from a bit of poor performance here and there. Also still grinding that Diablo paragon 300. 🙈
Marathon is my crack right now. I can’t get enough of it. I also am putting some time into The Show 26 but after one game it’s back to Marathon lol.
@GirlVersusGame Yes! I plan to play VC Stories soon too! Thanks for the heads up!
I remember the physical maps they included, I had the GTA 3 map on my wall for years. So many memories from these games - good times
Dig Dug, Lode Runner, Galaga, Excite Bike, Macross, Twin Bee, Circus Charlie
PS5 Pro- Fatal Frame 2, Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse, Monster Hunter Stories 1
Switch 2- Resident Evil Revelations 2 (Raid Mode), Xenoblade Chronicles X Switch 2 Edition
Steam Deck OLED- Resident Evil Revelations 2 (Raid Mode), RE 7, Rage, Fallout 3 GOTY, Black Mesa, Prototype
@themightyant I think the gif was from PS blog so all honor to them
I started AC Shadows and I am very much enjoying it so far, even if it is intimidatingly sprawling. Playing primarily as Naoe as i do enjoy a little sneaky-sneaky time.
I also picked up a physical copy of Resident Evil 1 & 0 so I can start a full replay of the whole franchise (at least the mainline games)
Resident Evil Requiem. Near the end of my playthrough on PS5 and also started the Switch 2 version in undocked mode. Really loving it. Unless the end is a total disaster, this is easily my Game of the Year and favorite release in the last decade behind only Metroid Dread.
Update: Just finished RE Requiem. Definitely an all-timer for me. Up there in the very top of the entire series.
Nothing particular last couple of weeks, tbh. Still mainly on steamdeck, trying some demos and little bit of Shadow Warrior which is not bad but not see myself also finish it - just playing something and waiting for the right game
Apart from gaming, lot of NHL, PL football, darts and F1 in TV. Have a nice weekend, gamers!
Asphalt Overdrive (Windows Phone) - I'm on the final stretch now. Then it's off to deletion town and begin work on the others in the remaining pile. I'm down to less then thirty WP games now from well over two hundred plus.
Well, I just rage quit Clair Obscur because after 90 minutes of fighting Osquio, it turns out it all comes down to a single QTE that relies on timing for a move you’ve never f-ing encountered before. Might have to take a break to avoid having to replaster some walls. Going to go read a book to calm down.
@Tsushima Don't play the US version of Blood Curse if you care about censorship.
Romeo is a Dead Man and Pokopia for sure. Due to the winter storm in my neck of the woods, I’m getting an extra day to my weekend. Hopefully I get the chance to get back to Requiem too. Honestly, 2026 has had a fantastic start with games.
Discovered Banishers Ghost of New Eden and loving it. The game play definitely isn't perfect (repetitive enemies, tricky to turn and face them quickly, health booster takes too long to activate) but it's still super fun and the story is pretty cool made really cool by great performances by the actors of the main protagonists.
Definitely recommend giving it a go if you haven't and like story-driven experiences
Up early for the F1 racing, but I intend to play a lot of the day.
I bought Monster Hunter Stories 3 last night, which should keep me going until we get Crimson Desert next week.
Whatever you are playing this weekend, I hope you have fun!
@Titntin I’ve enjoyed the Ferraris having a scrap and now - time for games!
Thus far I’ve played RE Requiem, Iron Guard (VR tower defense game), Demonschool and Helldivers 2. Going to try to squeeze in some GT7 today.
Just platinum'd RE9 so I have rare break from SP games to focus of Marathon/Yotei/BF6
@Sanquine @Northern_munkey I am free of my SP obligations for a while, so if youns ever have a spare space just send me an invite. Though you'll have to slum it on Dire Marsh as I'm only level 5. And be prepared to fail a lot cause I am not good at Marathon
After finishing RE8 I decided to give Cat Quest a go as it has been on my radar for a while but I never got around to it.
It was a really nice short game that you can pay between bigger titles. Utterly brilliant and another platinum on the list. I'm not a trophy hunter by any means but I do like when you can get the trophies on one simple play through without gimmicky trophies.
Might start Ghost of a Yotei next
@Link41x
I've noticed you always mention mobile games (windows phone specifically). Do you not have a PS5/PS4?
I'm replaying Horizon: Zero Dawn (PS4), and might also finally resume my Resident Evil 1 (PS4) playthrough.
I'm also trying to earn multiplayer trophies for Tomb Raider 2013, AC4: Black Flag, and Watch Dogs 1 (PS4).
@SuperSilverback Will do! Sorry for the late response but notifications are not working…
Late but: basically marathoned Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma, just wrapping up post-game stuff now. I've been going through the Fatal Frame 2 remake slowly since I only play it when it's dark outside lol.
@EfYI No, I'm mostly on handhelds with some older consoles like my NES. I do have a PSP and a Vita though!
