As the weather starts to change and the kids go back to school, the release schedule is honestly getting chaotic. Here's what we're playing.

My mind might be playing tricks on me, but I swear that my PS5's power indicator light briefly flashed from blue to green when I first inserted my Gears of War: Reloaded disc!
Sammy Barker
I feel like I could use a bit of a break from games this weekend, but there's no rest for the wicked. In the absence of NBA 2K26, I might play through that new Goosebumps game.

This weekend, I'm getting started with another game for review purposes, but I'm also looking forward to squeezing in some time with the Lumines Arise demo and the Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds open beta. I can't get enough of the former, and have been very curious to try out the latter. Lots of cool games on the horizon!
Is there anything in particular on your gaming agenda this weekend? What are you expecting to keep you busy over the coming days? Let us know below.

This weekend will be a retro weekend!
I will play some of the legendaries like Castlevania Symphony of the Night and Ocarina of Time 3D (I need to invest in OoT for the N64).
I do not have a second gamepad for the SNES to play Mortal Kombat II so it will be just single player And might have some fun in Castlevania Legacy of Darkness!
Have a great weekend everyone!!!
@Zuljaras was quicker so I'm one of those who came after. And yes, I'm still playing Clair Obscur.
In between the usual Diablo IV and Balatro I’m gonna be trying Inscryption, looks dark, creepy and damn weird so right up my street.
I recently tried my mates PSVR2 with a game called Red Matter. I was blown away how good it looked and how immersive it is . My mate pressed a button which boosted me forward and I ended up falling back on his sofa 😂. But VR just isn’t for me as I felt disoriented for about an hour afterwards.
And finally, after enjoying Alien:Earth I need to play Isolation, Fireteam etc anything with Xenomorphs in 👍.
Have a great gaming weekend Pushsquarians! 🍻
Gears of War for me too.
I need to uninstall Balatro again. The game is like crack.…
I bought AC Valhalla on sale so ill finally be diving into that. I'll be getting silksong day 1 so I'm sure that will take over my life when it finally drops.
After 10 years of an on again off again relationship I think I finally am about to beat Witcher 3 then it's onto the dlc.
Other than that I'm just biding my time for Ghost of Yotai!!!!!
Started sword of the sea on Thursday after having finishing DK.
I can see why it's got such good reviews, I think it's their best game and I loved Journey and the Pathless but for me this is the best.
Going to also get Mafia the old country as been wanting it and in the mood for a linear story heavy game
Just finished up my platinum of Death Stranding 1 after getting the DS2 trophy. I'm replaying a few endings in Silent Hill 2 remake, such a good game!
Have a great weekend Folks!
@Onearmbandit have you tried Dark Descent? It’s very good if quite slow. Like a xcom/RTS with a focus on being stealthy.
Taking it easy this weekend. Some Nightreign on PS5 and maybe a little Bulwark (Falconeer Chronicles) on Steam Deck.
@DrVenture69 silent hill 2 remake was superb. One of the best remakes yet
Ninja time,Shinobi and Ninja Gaiden 2
Half-Life Alyx:

I drew this green blob man on a window
And I'm now looking for this cat
Inscryption:

Just started this creepy deckbuilder
@rusty82 , so much replayability too!
@Perturbator Half-Life Alyx is the best VR game created for now. I was mind blown when played it for the first time.
Lies of P: currently level 52 having reached the boss in St. Frangelico Cathedral after about 20 attempts to get through the frustrating platforming elements which aren't a strong suit of the game.
Hollow Knight: restarted this after falling off it years ago in anticipation of Silksong finally coming out, plus I owe it to the developers as they're from my home town. Played the introductory level and have reached The Forgotten Crossroads. Still can't reliably manage the Nail Jump so abandoned trying to get the first charm.
Monster Train: won with Stygian Guard allied with Umbra and levelled Tethys Titansbane up to Level III Conduit. Lost twice with Umbra allied with Hellhorned but levelled Penumbra up to Glutton III and Architect III. Unlocked the Melting Remnant clan then won with them while maxing out the Hellhorned clan to Level 10. Playing on Covenant Level 0 and aiming to win with all clan combinations before raising the level.
Beat Saber: just started playing this. Finished level 3 in the campaign. Great fun!
F1 23: I usually play on the days leading into a real race weekend on the same track. Won at Zandvoort and I'm leading both the Drivers Championship and Constructors Championship for McLaren.
Avowed: picked up my save from about 4-5 months ago and am re-familiarising myself with the game. I've just reached the third main area, Shatterscarp and am cleaning out some side quests near the starting area.
@Zuljaras I was saving it for a long time but temptation finally got me. I've only just started but its definitely one of, if not the best looking VR game I've seen so far.
Controls are a bit strange though, no running and no normal jumping... seems like its overly careful not to make people sick.
Downloaded Indika and sword of the sea this week but it will be more Hell let Loose with my oldest son. Maybe a couple of races in RaceX Street.
Have a great weekend!
Nothing else but MGS 3 Delta ....gonna take out The End in 1 minute 🤣 and not by changing the date !
Loved this game back in the day. Did 8 playthroughs ! And 6 of MGS 4
Have a great weekend guys and gals ❤️
Unicorn Overlord
@Orochilocka yes I have. I forgot about that one. Will have to get back into it as, like you said it’s a tad slow but I enjoyed what I played.
Finished Lies of P, and now I can't decide whether to get Shinobi or wait for Silksong in a few days. Help!
The Last of Us Part 2 for me again this weekend. Still thoroughly enjoying it, in a grim dystopian sort of way. Got a lot of other stuff going on at the moment, which has been limiting my playtime, but hey ho.
Have a great weekend, fellow Push Squarians.

@Perturbator It is indeed for not making people sick. I was surprised that I could play for hours without getting any motion sickness!
The best part was the gravity pull and catching ammo in mid-air It was so addicting!
At the end I just wanted MORE, it is rare to be sad because the game just ended, and you want to play more of it
I’ve been playing Tomb Raider 1 (remastered) all week, first time playing in close to 30 years - what a fantastic game. They really don’t make them like this anymore, the franchise (and games in general) could learn a thing or two from it.
I also started playing Resident Evil 3 since the OG versions became available on PS5.
Finally some Deus Ex Human Revolution on Steamdeck, which I can’t believe I played in 2011 (?). Also funny that it’s set in 2027. The game is a lot goofier than it felt back when I originally played it. I have Mankind Divided ready to go afterwards, and also picked up Alan Wake for 79p in a sale yesterday 🫣
I fired up GT7 for the first time in months yesterday, just need 500k credits more and I can get a Mercedes classic to add to the collection, so I'll do that. Then it's Kingdom Come Deliverance, Balatro and a tax return, probably not in that order, as I must use discipline! Balatro doesn't encourage discipline though.
Back to Star Wars Outlaws though the focus is to finish the story and that'll be that. Platinum was the aim but I've grown tired of the lumps and bumps in the gameplay, so maybe not. Still, a solid enough game and it consistently nails the Star Wars atmosphere. Have a top weekend everyone!
@Duck_Farmer...Avowed is such a great game. Playing as a wizard is fantastic- the combat is so good, hope Bethesda were watching
@kyleforrester87 ..79p ?? Deal of the century !
I've just got back from India so have been paying on the Vita and am stuck on Dynasty Warriors Next! I aim to beat it though, struggling with Lu Bu as I'm the bow and arrow guy, these games are frustrating with ranged combat IMO but enjoying the game none the less plus the Vita is still awesome!
Hoping to get on to Gears at some point too!
Happy gaming everyone
MGS Delta and Death Stranding
Lost Soul Aside Demo. The Dialogue reminds me of Final Fantasy Stranger Of Paradise which was a funny bad. The Gameplay seems fun
Having already finished my solo Hardcore campaign run of Gears of War: Reloaded, I have now begun my solo Insane run. Honestly, I don't think it looks that much different to the Ultimate Edition, but Microsoft have managed to completely break the friendly AI in the game, with this new edition, with Dom having a tea break for much of the time leaving me to do all the work on my lonesome.
In between Reloaded, I will also do a few Inconceivable trio Horde runs in Gears 5, which looks and plays much better...
Chilling with the delta squad
Xenoblade Chronicles X: Steadily chipping away at various side/basic missions and affinity quests before proceeding with the last six or so chapters of the main story. It's been fun getting to know the crew (my favorites being Liesel and Yelv) and trying out different configurations, and the flying Skell really helps. I've now sunk triple digit hours into this game and am thoroughly enjoying it.
Still elden ring. Enjoying levelling my character and weapon and just exploring and defeating mini bosses.
At the end of Chibi-Robo on the Switch 2. After that I’ll try and finish Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice before Trails in the Sky: 1st Chapter releases.
Maybe I’ll try and squeeze in Guacamelee.
@Onearmbandit
I would encourage you to give VR its chance. You are correct that it’s just so immersive, but also that people can feel a bit off for a bit if they overdo it (and have their friends unexpectedly boost them around a game! Lol). After a week of play you’ll have a whole new world opened to you and it’ll always form part of your gaming experience from then on.
Playing some more Like A Dragon Ishin! right now.
The Man Who Erased His Name 😊
@Zuljaras
It wouldn’t beat Resi in VR for me. It’s just not quite as much of a complete game.
Finishing off the fantasy life i plat it almost broke me 😂 and moving on to unicorn overlord.
Since last week
Sword of the sea - This is awesome 🤩So much fun to play with smooth gameplay, it looks great and has a good soundtrack. I've finished it once and I'm now doing a new game plus playthrough. The snowboarding feeling is great in the game, makes me want a new and good SSX game or a remaster of any of the first three!
Gears of War Reloaded - fond memories of playing this all those years ago, it shows its age sometimes but its a good remaster and I'm really enjoying it playing it split-screen with my boy (which adds so much to the experience). He likes his game hard, so we're playing on insane level 😅 really looking forward to playing more!
Indika - So, saw a friend play this on the friend list and thought I'd try it going in blind. It sure is special 😂 You play as a nun, just that is an experience I didnt expect! So, without giving away any spoilers I kind of got stuck after playing for five minutes and now I just have to know how it ends 😂 Just know its a bit wierd if you try it 😅
@Marquez This was my experience with the platinum too which is frustrating as I like to plat all SW games, only trophy missing was the beat the battleships/Star destroyers by ramming them or something and it was RNG if they appeared. Great game otherwise though, thoroughly enjoyed it, Nix was pretty cool.
Playing:
I'm at 4th zone right now and so far i'm having a blast 😘. Loves the challenges, combos, ninpos, some optional metroidvania trackback, and references to previous games. My only complaints; 1) I used Japan dub but some enemies still speak English, 2) the music feels...forgettable. They got Yuzo Koshiro for 6-7 tracks but i can't recognize his works. It's a bit shame since all Shinobi games that i'd played has memorable music tracks.
I'm on the 3rd part backtracking and collecting music notes while alternate between time. But i feel the game is running out of gas. There's 4 more music notes to collect and i feel like i'm getting bored with the game.
On hold:
Have a good weekend everyone 🍻
Sonic Crossworlds Beta
Lumines Arise Demo
Formula Legends Demo
Gears Reloaded
Shinobi
Assassins Creed Syndicate (feels great with 60fps update) 😀
@4fold I think if I did get into VR I’d have to start somewhere with a simpler game then work up to a bigger, more experienced game 👍
Caved in and got MGS3 Delta. Playing on PS5 performance mode and its playing 100%? I was expecting it to be stuttering and framedrop city, but no. Having a blast. The Philosophers Legacy here i come.
I've been a lapsed gamer again. Embarrassed to think I even like gaming with how little I've played lately. Such poor form 😂
Unsure whether to crack on and try and get the Cyberpunk DLC finished before Ghost of Yotei arrives, or to pivot completely as I have an urge to try a First-Person RDR2 playthrough. But I believe it is a bit janky, as it was designed to be a third person experience, really. And who knows. Maybe there will one day be a PS5 patch...
🤷♂️
Pretty much exclusively Helldivers 2 this weekend while not watching the football!!
Please god 🙏 let united beat Burnley or I'm going to be very sad!!
@Mostik I like way much more of the game than I dislike, it's just the unnecessary jank that takes me out of the moment. Characters, music and the sights and sounds of that galaxy are great. Story is decent too.
@playstation1995
Shout out for Sanford and Son
Got KCD for that attractive $5.99 just so I can understand where KCD2 is coming from. Such immersive lovely games. Plus some EAWRC and continuing my 4th run of Elden Ring.
@Marquez Agreed mate, the story & world building is really good and a different perspective to most SW games, just a bit too ruff around the edges in parts.
@Ravix I've always tried to play GTA V or RDR2 in first person but it's quite hard to stay in that perspective cause the 3rd person is just so good.
The usual suspects for me EA wrc,GT7 and forza 5. I was going to get stuck into carX street but having to keep switching between steering wheel and dual sense on the fly when you need to use the map started to grate on me so it's on the back burner for now. And there is the sublime shinobi art of vengeance too which is just superb on every level. Have a great weekend folks👍
Death Stranding 2 has made a reappearance in my gaming rotation. What a bizarre and great game.
Otherwise most of my time is on Wuchang Fallen Feathers right now along with Sword of the Sea and Ender Magnolia, which is not as good in its story and Lillies but has refined combat.
Enjoy the weekend all!
Finishing up the free play of Lego DC supervillains and then having to clear all of the areas, might be here a while. I’m eyeing up Discounty, as I fancy a supermarket simulator cozy vibe and I like the art style.
@TheArt yep haha. I loaded up an old save the other day just to test it out, but the pace is pretty fast in first person, and it doesn't really suit it the same way as third person for rockstar games. I was hoping it might feel a bit like KCD for immersion, but weirdly Rockstar games are more immersive in third person.
Enjoy KCD by the way. JCBP 🙌
Greetings fellow video game enthusiasts. I have my life back now that the Fringe is over so I’m all about them vidja games. Playing them, watching other people play them, watching other people watch other people play them. Sometimes I just lie down with a copy of Hyperdimension Neptunia VII on my pillow. I’m playing Ys X. Bye
@JVCIOM70 you’re not living unless you start it on 31 January!
@Mostik I did this plat. this trophy is not really so hard to get. It's a matter of using a good configuration with your starship, attack from a distance and keep moving. There are some guides that teach where to find the capital ships. You can get the trophy in half a hour or less.
I finished Resident Evil Remastered again. It took me forever but I got there in the end.
I just started Resident Evil 4 which I have also played.Refusing to start a new game or recently started one until I have my own tv replace the one I'm using which is a Panasonic with no HDR at least 15 years old,the picture is terrible! But have a Lumbar puncture next week and if I survive I'll change tv then.
As for me, it's the very good Yakuza 6, the Psycho Krieg DLC of Borderlands 3, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and, when my girlfriend saw the trailer of Sword of The Sea she got impressed, so I downloaded the game and it's amazing!!
I finished Metal Gear Solid ∆: Snake Eater yesterday, so I'm tempted to do a second run and go for no kills. That or I'll be starting As Dusk Falls.
Was sad to finish SH2 remake so started a Leon playthrough on re2 remake
Dragonage The Veilguard for me. I've been patiently waiting for it's Gamepass release and it hasn't disappointed. Good simple fantasy escapism.
Playing Shinobi: Art of Vengeance. Really fun game. Love the art work. Glad I picked it up.
@Zuljaras I have brilliant memories of MK2 on the SNES. Completely overshadowed MK1 (which I had, blood and all on the Megadrive). The fatalities really opened the floodgates for console gaming at the time.
@Dominator2885 the dlcs are arguably better than the central campaign - enjoy!!!
i’ll be playing some of the newest and hippest games available this weekend, vampire the masquerade: bloodlines (lappytop) and fear effect(5pro)
@Marquez Outlaws is a great little game when people aren't yelling in your ear that it's awful. Like you say, few issues here and there but I still thoroughly enjoyed it.
@SuperSilverback Exactly this. I recommend anyone who is on the fence to ignore the haters and give it a go.
@kmtrain83 definitely Sanford and son is legendary. About 5 across your lips.you big dummy.word up son
@Perturbator @Zuljaras RE Alyx - I think it's just the mechanics they came up with at that time but you could be onto something re motion sickness. I recently started playing through it again and it's still up there with the very best VR has to offer five years after it's release. Saying that I think VR has had some incredible titles over recent years and I for one am glad I jumped in. Microsoft Flight Simulator, Asgards Wrath 1+2, Batman Arkham Shadow, Assassin's Creed Nexus, Metro Awakening, Lone Echo 1+2, Red Matter 1+2, Alien Isolation, Alien Rogue Incursion and many more are so immersive and a huge departure from flat screen gaming. I even use VR mods for Cyberpunk, Truck/Train simulators, Ready or Not, Robocop etc. The opportunities are limitless but the VR part of the industry still needs better marketing in my opinion. It's been revelation for me personally.
Still ploughing through Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age. However attempting to beat the esper Cùchulainn has become my first major hurdle. It's Sap and Invert abilities combined are lethal. Then also doing Hades runs on the side. Happy Gaming All
@16BitHero I do have motion sickness in VR but I manage it.
I have finished 3 whole games in VR Half-Life Alyx, Resident Evil 2 Remake VR and Half-Life 2 VR.
The big difference is that Alyx is built for VR and it shows.
Now I mostly use VR for Google Earth and I fly everywhere and look at things in street view.
Soon I might install the RE3, RE4, RE7 and RE8 VR mods to try them out.
@freddquadros Nice one buddy, I will give it a shot at some point then if it's only half an hour (thought it would be a time sink), bugs me to have an SW game without the plat
GTA Online with my son. We are addicted to the new Cayo Perico survival mode!
@Northern_munkey Hi mate, I notice EA WRC is only £15 on Amazon at the minute is it a good rally game? And by good I mean accessible? I found Dirt to be a bit difficult on a pad with the more powerful motors and got put off but I loved Sega Rally, Colin MacRae etc just found my most recent go at a rally game a bit frustrating (probably too realistic 🤣 ) for £15 I am tempted as I love racing games (no wheel though).
I don't know about y'all, but it has cooled off a lot here in the southern US. I have some things to do in the yard. I need to hop on my work PC for a few minutes to get a few ideas into my notes. The dishwasher has a leak, so that'll be a focus.
I got to the end of Soul Hackers 2 last night. It was the bad ending, but I think I have all of the enjoyment I want out of it for now. I could go back to it at some point, who knows?
Fantasian is on deck next. Pretty sure I'm at the end, and I'm also pretty sure I need to grind a bunch on the boss that I'm on. I also have the demo for Lost Soul Aside and need to finish out the demo for Trails in the Sky.
Have a great weekend, everybody.
It will be only a little Triangle Strategy and maybe some Monster Hunter Wilds this weekend 😪
Hope you all have a good weekend.
Last week I talked about how I’m playing Baldur’s Gate 3 - taking my time, playing in spurts, and eventually completing it after reaching the end of Act 2. It would be at this point where fatigue settles in and I would ultimately shelve the game for months, only to come back, forget the mechanics, and create a new character. This process would be repeated over and over.
Meanwhile, my initial goal was to play BG3 between other games: Metal Gear Solid Delta, Shinobi: Art of Vengeance, and Hollow Knight Silksong. Let me state for the record - those goals have gone to hell in a hand basket. I am in DEEEEEEP waters on my trek to reach the pinnacle of Act 3. I genuinely can’t get enough of it, and I’m about to wrap up the second act with a newfound sense of energy.
What blows my mind is how different this playthrough is compared to my previous ones. I have this awful habit in RPGs where I tend to choose the “good guy” route whenever there is dialogue choices. Moreover, I play the same type of character if I can - a high-elf, rogue assassin. And when I get a bad roll of the dice I reload my save until I get the outcome I wanted. This time, however, I’m a Dwarf monk and it has been awesome. I’m letting the rolls dictate the story, good or bad - a true RPG experience. What I wasn’t expecting is how unsatisfying rolls can actually create better moments throughout side quests and main campaign.
Simply put, there is a lot of game here. You never feel as if you missed out on something special regardless of your good or bad choices because the writing is so top notch that every thread is meticulously fleshed out so you can get the ultimate experience. My actions are generally good, but also morally grey. I tend to find the root of the problem and rip it out, but if I can use it to my advantage then I will. I’m living my best life in BG3 and wouldn’t have it any other way.
I want to conclude my rant by making a bold proclamation: from a video game perspective, BG3 might be the greatest of all time. That’s not to say it’s my favorite, but in totality I think it measures up to that threshold. To me, it’s the epitome of what I have always envisioned games to be ever since I could comprehend the basics in 1994.
A rich, lush world beckoning to be explored, filled with many secrets to uncover? Check. Freedom and allows for player expression? Double check. An incredible cast of characters with unique personalities, deep history to learn about, fully fleshed out, and having an experience tailor made to each individual and play-style? Triple check. Writing that is on another level, to the point where each interaction with any character or NPC feels meaningful? Quadruple check. Every facet of this game is seamlessly woven together, and I don’t understand it. I don’t want to, either. I’m just happy it exists.
@Mostik Yes man, you can do a capital ship and save the game. Even if you fail another and reload, the others will count to the trophy.
For me the most laborious one was the "complete 40 contracts" one. The trophy for lowest reputation was my last one, I had to start a new file, as when a finished the game, all the factions were with very high rep, an I could not reduce it. And the DLCs are'nt very long, so I got those trophies too.
I enjoyed the game a lot. Not perfect, I agree, but it's quite immersive and the story is quite good. Seeing Akiva after reading the Aftermath novels so many years ago was astounding. I am a huge Star Wars fan, I consume all media of the franchise, so it was a delight for me to catch the connections!!
@Mostik indeed it is worth a punt for £15. Its perfectly playable on the dual sense and I found dirt 2.0 to be impossible to control with a pad. Many of the guys I race use pads and they are fast too. Obviously a steering wheel is going to be more beneficial but I'd still recommend it.
@16BitHero I know. That's what I've heard over the years. Can't wait.
Also this rumor of new Witcher 3 DLC to tie in 4. Let's gooo
@Duck_Farmer Cool idea of playing F1 track right before weekend race!
@Zuljaras The flick wrist to get objects and then catching them is amazing.
I think Skyrim VR has a mod that lets you do the same. It just makes perfect sense in VR.
@16BitHero Most of those are either in my wishlist or backlog. I also recommend Subnautica with the motion controls mods. Going ever deeper underwater in that big sub was one of the most immersive and scary things I've experienced in gaming!
@Northern_munkey Nice one buddy, appreciate the response 👍
PS5:- Playing co-op Gears of war with my son, aswell as MGS3 Delta.
Switch 2:- Bravely Default and the new Story of seaons game
Usually it's multiple games but this weekend I'm just going to focus on Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater (PS5).
I’m just trying to beat Death Stranding 2 before Silksong. I don’t know if it’s going to happen, but I want it to!
Finishing up the Platinum for Sir Whoopass: Immortal Death and then starting up Steel Seed.
@freddquadros I'm with you buddy, anything Star Wars gets my money so I was happy to play as a non Jedi and get immersed in the world. Akiva was cool but I loved being on Tatooine, and coming across little camps etc.
I was lucky and got the low rep one early whilst I was learning the mechanics, you would have to really p*ss them off to get the rep that low in the end game, think you did the right thing starting a new file!
@Mostik no worries..when I injured my heel a while back and couldn't put pressure on the accelerator pedal I switched to the pad for a while and it was good. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have..Still do 🤣
Picked up Slitterhead in the sale last week, so continuing my very bizarre journey through that. Oddly having a really good time with this one. Not sure I could actually recommend it to anyone, it’s definitely not without its issues, but there’s a very odd, unique charm to the game I can’t quite put my finger on 😄
Have fun folks!
I am very much enveloped in X-COM 2 and Slay the Spire. But as a subscriber to Premium I did try some of the new content and Indika is like a breath of fresh air. Everything that happens in the game is interesting and new for me.
@Zuljaras I had motion sickness in the beginning, I returned PSVR 1+2 because of it but then jumped in again with Quest 3/PCVR. I now use smooth locomotion with snap turning and haven't been motion sick since. Resident Evil 4 was fab in VR too! Didn't fancy replaying 7+8 but I've heard they're excellent in VR too. And yes Google Earth is great fun! Enjoy!
The Sonic Crossworlds beta. I haven't had this much fun with a kart racer since double dash on the gamecube. It's been super fun I just gotta get the hang of drifting a little more
@Dominator2885 I don't know this rumour 👀
@Perturbator it's in my backlog, cheers for the recommendation!
@Perturbator @Zuljaras ok one last recommendation - if I had to choose the most transformative and convincing VR experience I've had to date, it's Eye of the Temple - it's cheap, a tiny file size and just crazy immersive providing you have a good amount of space to move in (I think 6-8ft squared).
@16BitHero RE4 or RE4R?
On Meta Quest 3 for RE4R to play it only with a VR mod.
I did early access for Shinobi Art of Vengeance, so I’m decently far in that. I’m currently backtracking trying to 100% as many of the levels as I can so far. I absolutely love this game.
I might as well try that Sonic Racing game for the weekend.
Continue sneaking around like a sneaky Snake in MGS Delta.
@Zuljaras I played the standalone Quest 3 version but hear the remake mod is great too.
Forget Marcus, there's only one Fenyx that I'm playing.
Immortals: Fenyx Rising
@RogueCooper Hopefully we get a couple in the second half 🙏
@playstation1995 uncharted 2 for me it really is one of the best games ever made incredible the best game naughty dog have ever made in my opinion
Metal Gear Solid Delta and Gears of War Reloaded.
Ghost of Tsushima
Witcher 3.
Played it after release, finished and after 10 years enjoying it so much. Updated graphics on PS5 + lots of new quests and stuff. Love it.
@AgentMantis Micah Parsons baby!
I'm feeling indecisive, so far today I have played a little of
Shinobi
Sonic Racing Crosswords
MGS (was gonna replay MGS and MGS2 before picking up Delta but I may shelf that for now)
Roadcraft
And Tempest Rising on PC.
Nothing is scratching the itch today
I think a bit of rdr2 ,gt7 dailies, single player events, custom races etc and maybe also abit of power wash simulator and arcade paradise
Playing a bit of Tekken 5
I'm tackling some Vanillaware games this weekend. Just started Unicorn Overlord and really enjoying it. Also dusted off the vita to finally finish Muramasa Rebirth.
Angry Birds Classic (Windows Phone) - I've made it into the last world for now.
Gears POP! (Android) - Still on my YT LP.
Battleship (Windows Phone) - The difficulty spikes in here are crazy to witness....
Got the platinum for Death Stranding 2, amazing game but some of the facilities were a real slog to 5 star. Not much gaming planned this weekend but if I find time maybe sword of the sea. I did try Sonic Crossworlds and it doesn’t feel as good as MK world but it is more fun.
@Hurblyburbly I couldn't have been more shocked if I had woken up and found my head sewn to the carpet
@AgentMantis lol. That’s one way of putting it.
Great news. Fingers crossed for a proper run this year now.
Bring on the Lions!
After ~99 hours, I finally finished Death Stranding 2's campaign. It's definitely surpassed the first game in my eyes, and has become my frontrunner for GOTY - as well as my personal all-time favorite game. Kojima and his team have refined the formula for DS and made it better to play, while making a more cohesive and gut-punching narrative. Can't wait to continue to keep playing while I chip at the platinum!
I also picked up Metal Gear Solid Delta; looks gorgeous - though I can't escape Konami just telling Virtuos to make the game look like the pachinko games lol - and plays thankfully similar to MGSV.
Shinobi! It's awesome.
getting back into kcd 2
Started playing Lost Soul Aside. The combat is enjoyable and the horrible voice acting is a plus for me, as it often leads to unintentional hilarity. Also started Fear Effect again, this will be my 3rd playthrough but the last one was decades ago. It's rough around the edges but was so far ahead of its time. Outside of that I'm about halfway through Echoes of the End, which is a lot better than most people said it was. Happy gaming everyone.
I finished Epic Mickey yesterday and I beat Traitor Lord in Hollow Knight, bumped it up from 88% to 93% after not having played it in ages. I also started Shinobi and it's excellent, I've beat 3 bosses so far.
On Switch I restarted Ori and the will of the wisps and did the arena battles in Sea of Stars.
Have a great weekend everyone.
Bought shinobi last night so played a bit of that, its a good solid game. Will continue with death stranding 2, im only on chapter 8, im around 43hrs, got monday off so will try and put a bit more hrs in.
The girl who stole time but the taxi is picking me up in 3 hours then i'm off on my jollies, have fun.
I always thought the swinging in Spiderman would give me motion issues ( I'm suceptible to this), but Ive tried ' Spiderman Remastered on ps extra this week and Im delighted Im not having any issues with traversal!
I appreciate its essentially just another open world with markers for missions, but I enjoy exactly that. The writting and characters aren't total cringe, the combat is good, set scenes are excellently directed and the whole game is seriously polished. Ive been having a blast.
Still sneaking in some Forza 5 races, and Im getting intrigued by ' Unicorn Overlord ' too, so plenty to play!
Whatever you are playing this weekend, I hope your having fun!
@RogueCooper Yeah in the end they don't like to make it easy for themselves!!
Glad for the win though it was needed👏
I've been indulging in a little game called World of Warcraft, picked up some time and the War Within expansion in the last sale so I'm chewing my way through everything, good times.
I had to take a quick(so i thought) look at that new No Man's Sky update in VR. It's the very first PSVR 2 game that now supports PSSR if you've got a PS5 Pro and holy *****, the difference is HUGE! It eliminates ALL of the aliasing issues, runs way, WAY better and looks super crisp as far as the eye can see! As somebody who plays mainly in VR, this is where i got my Pro for in the first place! This needs to come to GT7 as well, heck, it needs to be implemented in every VR2 game from now on as the technology is nothing short of amazing in combination with a PSVR 2! I'm addicted to NMS allover again, played until the sun came up and then some more..🥴 Oh yeah, i also played some Forefront(basically Battlefield in VR) on my Quest 3, the open alpha is live again this weekend and it's pretty dope i must say
I played a lot of Helldivers 2, Shinobi, GT7 and The Wandering Village. My run in The Wandering Village has lasted 80something in-game days but the dinosaur that my village is built on is infected and starving and my villagers are on the verge of rebellion so I fear the end is in sight.
