The only IP I really care is Gears of War. Now E-day being console exclusive sucks but definitely will not buy xbox for that. Will wait if it's playable on steamdeck and one day, in big sale I may buy it. And who knows, maybe they will bring it to ps5/6 some day, you never know with MS/xbox...after they put Gears of War reloaded to ps5, E-day should come too and they should pick some other IPs as exclusives, but this is my logic, not theirs...
Was trying some older games on steamdeck (Ori, Sleeping Dogs), will check some more from my steam library over the weekend. My main game is Immortals Fenyx Rising on ps5, so will continue playing that.
Also probably some F1, darts and WC in TV. Whatever you'll be doing, have fun!
So the logic tells me that firstly they need from PS players to buy xbox games to help them get healthy business again, and as a "gift" PS players will get less xbox games in the future...I'm all in for competition but I will not support xbox games on playstation because I don't like their approach and how they communicate this
I planned something else but I started Immortals Fenyx Rising from my backlog instead. Only few hours in but really enjoying it, so will continue playing this.
Also tried Onimusha demo after it showed on ps store, looks promising despite my no experience with any of previous games. Let's see how it will review when it's out, Capcom is on top of a game now, proved by RE Veronika remake announcement at SGF, good times...
solid SoP for me personally. lot of games still out in 2026, September looks brutal for new releases. stand out for me is Wolverine, Silent Hill and ILL. also looking forward to Tomb Raider, Until Dawn 2, probably Rayman remake for my kids.
Not so happy about new GoW game tbh, I´d prefer new game with Kratos and rumoured Egypt mythology and setting and I´m happy. This new entry is probably not for me...
also hoping to see Intergalactic at SGF or some new announcement from Sony 1st party
I believe show in cinemas are not just for Wolverine itself, and we'll see more 1st party games and new reveals. Who's still in the camp hoping for Days Gone 2?
In fact, last SoP was really solid imo, so hopefully this one will deliver too. Definitely will be watching live stream tomorrow
Probably nothing as there is lot of sport in TV and going on bike with family today. But last week I finished Soma on steamdeck and it was really great experience and story. Not sure what to play next, feels like Lords of the Fallen is not enjoyable for me enough so will skip this for the moment. I started Sherlock Holmes game but it's not my cup of tea. Probably will give Returnal another try, or with announced DLC for Witcher3 I'll jump in to this in near future.
It's clear I'm not able to play 2 and more games at the same time so I just concentrate to finish Soma on steamdeck first and just put Lords of the Fallen on ps5 on-hold for now. Anyway, I'm surprised by Soma, great game and atmoshere. Looking forward to Days of play sales, I'd like to get some games on disc, potentially also new headset.
Last week I finished Hellblade Senua's sacrifice. In recent sale I picked up Lords of the Fallen as I really felt it's time for other souls-like game to play, only 4-5 hrs in and so far really good so I'll continue playing that. On Steamdeck I started Soma from my backlog, great atmoshere from the start.
Also will be watching Ice hockey WC which started just yesterday, plus continue my X-files run on disney+, still in love with this show after all these years.
I'm nearing the end of Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice on ps5 and hopefully wrap it up today or tomorrow. It's good but I'm not into playing the sequel any time soon or ever, tbh. Not sure what to play next so I will probably start 2nd play through of Dead Space remake. On steamdeck I'm going to try Hades and see if it's for me.
Have a wonderful rest of a weekend and happy gaming, all!
It´s hard to find a time for gaming as play-off in NHL and NBA started along, but if I have time I´ll be playing Evil West on steamdeck and continue playing Hellblade 1 on ps5.
It´s Easter weekend and being on some trips with wife and kids, so unfortunately not so much gaming this prolonged weekend. If I do have time then I´m going to start RE Village in 3rd person on steamdeck and I do want to start Dead Space remake ng+ on ps5. But I also feel some need to play some souls-like after a long time - even considering to subscribe to ps+ essential due to Lords of the Fallen addition next week, but I´d rather buy the game then rent it.
On PS5 I've been playing Pragmata demo, it's interesting concept but not sure if it's for me tbh. I'll wait for reviews and let's see. Then I did everything in My first GT and really considering to buy GT7 now.
On Steamdeck I'll continue playing fantastic Creaks. If I'm in the mood maybe continue Shadow warrior or Space Marine 1 or start something completely new.
Unfortunately this was expected - crazy times we live in now!
I´m so glad I´m covered (base ps5, switch lite, steamdeck, older gaming laptop) and just hope they´ll be working well for years to come. price of ps6 is not known, but it might easily target 1000 whatever currency and there´s no way I´ll buy ps6 any time soon
PS5 - My first GT and downloaded Pragmata demo to try if it's for me or not; Steam Deck - little bit of Shadow warrior, but mainly Creaks and also started first Space Marine. Creaks is charming puzzle game, really enjoying time with it.
Nothing particular last couple of weeks, tbh. Still mainly on steamdeck, trying some demos and little bit of Shadow Warrior which is not bad but not see myself also finish it - just playing something and waiting for the right game
Apart from gaming, lot of NHL, PL football, darts and F1 in TV. Have a nice weekend, gamers!
this new xboxPC is no competition to ps5pro/ps6 considering the price so I don´t see Sony under any pressure here. They just need to keep price of ps6 on as close to 500 €/$/£ as possible and if this is not possible in 2027, then take your time for 2028/2029 easily. if new ps5 games will come together with xbox titles, I don´t feel Sony should rush with ps6 attacking 800/900 price or even higher if RAM/SSD situation still not resolved until then...
never played this series before but I´m going to play a demo and see if it´s for me. based on review, looks like some sections might be frustrating due to clunky controls which I hate honestly in every game. I believe remake should remove such odds in the first place
I'm Ok with either way, but what I would point out towards PC push by Sony is that some games are simply not as appealing to PC gamers than others, imo Sackboy or even Ratchet & Clank are better suited for NSW. Uncharted, they started from 4, then we had bad ports like LoU both parts, Returnal, PC players are very sensitive to that. Perfect match for PC players like Demons Souls or even better Bloodborne did not make it and never will probably - I'm pretty sure these 2 games would sell very well on PC. I expect Ghost of Yotei will come to PC eventually, but beyond that probably less and less
I finished Little Nightmares on steamdeck few days ago. Right after that I started first Hellblade game and will continue playing this on steamdeck- actually giving it 2nd try now, tried it first time few years back on PC but put it down for another game as I usually do. But now I'll try to finish it as I really like it and it's quite short game.
Apart from that, it's Valentine day so this evening will spend with my wife, probably watching some romantic as per her preference, drinking some wine...
Happy Valentine day and happy gaming, all!
Edit: tried demo for Darwin's Paradox and it's super fun, on my wishlist now.
Slowly progressing through Little Nightmares and RE Revelations on steamdeck. Currently hard to find more time for ps5 gameplay, but I hope this will improve until RE Requiem is out.
Today also looking forward to watching LFC vs Man City, hopefully with some good result for LFC.
On ps5 nothing personally, but downloaded My first GT demo for my kids who played also little bit of Astrobot.
When I have time, I'm playing on steamdeck mostly. Finished Journey during the week, just 2 hrs long but what an experience. I'll continue playing Little Nightmares and RE Revelations.
My ps5 will rest probably until RE Requiem so mainly playing on steamdeck when I have a time. Currently prefering short experiences like Journey, Little Nightmares DE, RE Revelations, mixing up with Balatro.
Looking forward to PL today ARS vs ManU, some NHL this evening too.
I dropped Spiderman Remastered few days ago after 2nd act, just lost interest to continue playing it (really showed SM is not my favorite superhero, prefer Batman or Wolverine in this regard). On PS5 I'll probably wait for my biggest game of the year - RE Requiem. Until then, I'll be testing my steamdeck oled - already downloaded 10 or so games, so far everything works fine, great ergonomics just as they say, oled screen is the highlight here for sure.
The one I do every year is to work on my backlog of ps4 and ps5 games plus this year plan to work also on my steam backlog via steamdeck. However, I'd like to try more games and if they don't click with me then put them down with no remorse like I used to do because of feeling I need to finish all games I start. This will take some time to adapt to a new mindset, but will try hard working on that.
From the older games I don't have yet but would like to definitely try is Cyberpunk 2077. And one from upcoming games I want to pick up is RE Requiem. Which leads me to 'buy less, play more what I already have' resolution.
To have some plans/resolutions is good imo, but also not forget to do what you feel is best at the moment so I have my plans but I'll be not strict about them at all
I'll continue playing Spiderman Remastered which is good but I'm not into SM universe so not sure if I also finish it. Also waiting for my late xmas gift (steamdeck oled) to play something from my steam library, it was a while since I sold my gaming PC so PC handheld is the best way for me to get back to my steam library so really excited how it works for me.
Tbh I'm not interested in ps6 at all. I plan to stick with ps5 as long as possible and considering how long ps4 is supported, ps5 is here to stay maybe for next 10 years under current circumstances. And I'm going to give a handheld gaming a try as my steam deck is on the way. If it works for me, I'll pick up ps6 handheld only...as RAM shortage will last several years, I'm covered HW-wise and can only spend money on games. But fore sure hopefully it will be resolved asap
I tried and dropped several games from my backlog recently, I just did not have fun playing them or maybe just picked wrong time for them. So I finally started Spiderman Remastered! was on my gaming plan for a long time, just in the beginning so too soon to judge but graphics are amazing.
Probably not much gaming this weekend but if I do then I´ll continue playing Tales of Arise.
Since I picked up few of my favorite movies on blu-ray discs, I´ll be watching and enjoying them along with some PL, NHL, F1 and also some online chess.
I´m happy with my PS5 and dualsense is definitely best PS controller so far. I wish we had more 1st party games by now, but it is as it is. BC is great, have still lot of PS4 games to play...and that´s also one of the reason I really don´t care about PS6 at all. PS5 will be supported definitely few years after PS6 launch and I believe it´ll be harder for Sony to make me buy PS6 any time soon (Bloodborne remake for PS6 only might change that...) and god knows what the prices will be in 2027-2028 so that´s another factor for me to stick with PS5 as long as it´s acceptable for me
Ragnarok was big letdown for me, I think the hype was too high in my head and trailers were great but when I played the game it just was not fun and was really glad when it was done. I love GoW2018 - I even came back earlier this year to this game and collected all the remaining trophies which I almost never do.
I also liked Tsushima but did not feel Yotei as day1 purchase. I planned to pick it up for X-mas but now I´m not sure...I think Sony has a sequel problem but it might be just me problem, hard to explain it. Does not mean I would not like to seeing Days Gone 2 or new Uncharted, but right now I would not bet at all they´ll be 100% bangers as everyone might expect
Yesterday I finished Uncharted 3 from Nathan Drake Collection as my nostalgia fix, reminds me how I love the series and hate QTE
Right after that I returned to Tales of Arise - actually giving it a second chance, dropped it first time after maybe 2h for something else. Hope this time it grabs me fully eventhough it´s not my cup of tea game, but I´d like to try something new.
For Black Friday sale I picked up It takes two for my kids and AC Origins for me - I´m not AC fan but Egypt is tempting and since it received 60fps patch few years back, I finally bought it and really looking forward to playing it any time soon. I have a huge backlog, but I don´t complain, I´m glad I have a great choice what to play next...
I´m interested as I have big steam library of games I´ve never touched while I had a PC few years back...actually I´m debating with myself if I could pick up steam deck to play games I have on steam, then this announcement came along and will take some time now, will check reviews and looking forward to revealing price...but this is in my opinion no threat to PS, possibly to next xbox.
I finished Last of Us Part2 remastered few days ago, did some runs in No return mode but this is not really my cup of tea. Last of Us part2 still masterpiece imho, love the gameplay and just hope we'll get part3 someday in the future.
On nostalgia train I installed Uncharted 3 remastered, not in mood for long games atm. And also trying The Witness, got reviewed 9/10 here on Push□ so let's see, long time did not play something like that.
My next BIG thing to play gotta be Ghost of Yotei but probably during Xmas holidays.
I´ll continue playing Last of Us Part2 Remastered this weekend. Also downloading games just to be prepared for whatever I´ll be in the mood after I finish Part2.
Will also check F1 GP, Grand Slam of darts, PL - definitely looking forward to ManCity vs LFC tomorrow.
I´ll be playing Last of Us Part 2 Remastered - actually returned back after few weeks because I just wasn´t in the right mood for this game, but now I´m ready. Not far in the game, playing Ellie day2 in Seattle...wondering about gameplay in Intergalactic too, really keen to watch some gameplay trailer finally.
I play horror games when I'm in the right mood for that. But last week I played Still Wakes the Deep and I plan to return to Last of Us Part2 Remastered, maybe not proper horror game but atmoshere is great.
I definitely want to watch some Halloween movies, Alien, The Thing...this is tradition for me

Couldn't agree more about the side quests. Apart from that, great game, amazing boss fights and soundtrack. My personal goty in the year I played it

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 608
Have a great gaming weekend, folks!
Re: Poll: Does the Steam Machine Pose a Threat to PS5?
I´m interested as I have big steam library of games I´ve never touched while I had a PC few years back...actually I´m debating with myself if I could pick up steam deck to play games I have on steam, then this announcement came along and will take some time now, will check reviews and looking forward to revealing price...but this is in my opinion no threat to PS, possibly to next xbox.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 607
Have a nice weekend and happy gaming, ya'll!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 606
Enjoy the weekend and happy gaming, everyone!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 605
Have a nice weekend and happy gaming, everyone!
Re: Poll: Do You Play Horror Games Around Halloween?
I play horror games when I'm in the right mood for that. But last week I played Still Wakes the Deep and I plan to return to Last of Us Part2 Remastered, maybe not proper horror game but atmoshere is great.
I definitely want to watch some Halloween movies, Alien, The Thing...this is tradition for me
