November has arrived, which means the busy release schedule is about to subside, and we're moving swiftly into the festive season. Here are the games keeping us busy this weekend.

We now have eight WAYP weekends left in the year, so I'm continuing to focus on new releases, although admittedly with a retro tint. This means I'll reread Rob's 9/10 scoring Tekken 3 review, as I'm looking forward to playing this PS1 fighting game as October 2025's PS Plus Premium classic release.

I'm playing a bunch of games for review this weekend, so I won't name any names. But I'm also hoping to get a few rounds of Vampire Survivors in, as the auto-attacker has been calling to me of late.
A short but sweet WAYP this weekend, then, but feel free to go crazy in the comments section. What are you playing this weekend? Let us know below.

Continuing with DooM 3 (because I rushed to finish Fallout 3 on the Steam Deck)!
In the meantime I will play little Tormented Souls and God of War 1.
I have to do it quickly because Sacred 2 Remaster is coming next week and it will CONSUME me!!!
This weekend I’m mixing it up as need to try different games.
First it’s EA WRC. Been trying it out this week and I still suck at rally games but going to persevere with it.
Secondly it’ll be Alien Isolation as got into it to begin with yonks ago but forgot everything as other games took over so will start again.
Thirdly will be my first attempt at a Battle Royale game in Battlefield Redsec. Don’t know if I’m ready for fast paced FPS Multiplayer since I’ve not played anything like it since the original MW2.
Diablo 3 and Balatro will always be in there somewhere as well 😂.
Curry, football and maybe a beer or two Saturday night!
Have a great gaming weekend Pushsquarians! 🍻
After hearing so many good things, I've started Wuthering Waves only 2 hours in so far but looking great, looks like a keeper! I couldn't get into Genshin Impact at all.
More Battlefield 6 ...which gets better the more experienced you get, there's some brilliant emergent gameplay in the multiplayer, some hilariously so.
Started another run on the utterly brilliant STALKER 2 on XBX...i can't describe how much i love this game. A great old fashioned PC hardcore survival shooter. Im playing it again with a lot of mods enabled, kind of a fresh game.
Have a great weekend guys and gals ❤️
I managed to beat Absolum yesterday and now I'm trying to figure out what's left to 100% it.
Excellent game that's perfect for co op, as long as it's not someone online who randomly quits.
Edit: also, how could I forget? The absolute time sink Vampire Survivors.
Seeing as we aren’t getting a dead space 2 remake I’ve had to play it on my series x with frame rate boost and auto HDR and it’s been fantastic shame there’s no way to play it on my PS5 😞
I will be continued playing the smash hit the excellent scarlet nexus.and I will fan favorite in the incredible just cause 3.i will be watching my boston celtics 💚🖤 play.i will also be watching my pittsburgh steelers 💛🖤 play.and I will be watching legendary sitcoms TV 📺 comedy shows in family matters.good times.the Jeffersons.sanford and son.different strokes.martin and saved by the bell.word up son
@Onearmbandit ...BF Redsec is superb. A bit overwhelming at first but stick with it. Even playing with random squads is great fun - plus you'll learn a lot that way. Enjoy !
Just got Dyschronia and enjoying it. Will intersperse with Hall of Torment, but the crashes are really killing my enjoyment at the minute.
I'm still playing the fantastic Inscryption in the evenings, sacrilege but I like the card element more than Balatro!
I've almost finished my marathon replay of all OG Doom, just playing through Legacy of Rust.
As a chillout alternative, I've also gone back to Immortals Fenyx Rising which is sooo good, almost Zelda like.
I've parked Powerwash Simulator 2 until they patch in gyro controls
Have a great weekend Folks!
Greetings fellow video game enthusiasts. This weekend I will try and finish Luigi’s Mansion 3. They should have called it Luigi Robs a House. Let’s have a great time playing video games.
This weekend is all about ARC Raiders, which continues to be a fantastic experience. We've got a steady group going and have been running lots of night raids, taking out the larger ARCs (Rocketeers, Leapers, Bombardiers) for loot. And solo runs also continue to be great fun, thanks to the 80% of the community who just want to play it all peaceful and chill. Hit that 'don't shoot!' emote and chances are you'll be teaming up, not eating bullets.
Even if you don't think extraction shooters are for you, this one has enough variety in gameplay and interactions I'd recommend it to anyone.
EDIT - PSA Even though it's not on the official list, ARC Raiders does boot up using the new PS Portal streaming functionality!
I’ve decided to finally play Fallout 4 so that’s my single player game sorted for the next month. Problem is I’ve been addicted to ARC Raiders which is taking up most of my time at the moment. It’s even stopped me playing Battlefield 6, which was supposed to be my long term multiplayer game!
@KingPev
Cheers I’ll try 😂
Greetings, good people.
I'm still plowing through Ghost of Yogurt, and it's much longer than I anticipated. Either I'm extremely slow, or howlongtobeat lied to me, I'm only in the third region and the timer already shows almost 40 hours. In the beginning I really enjoyed the gameplay loop, but now I just want to be done with it and return to Ninja Gaiden 4.
Other than that, I'm having a wonderful time with Once Upon a Katamari, it's a delightful little game. It might be the best entry in the series, it has everything that I love about Katamari: songs, humour, variety - abundance of all. Play it if you ever liked Katamari.
That's all for now, have a great weekend.
Star Wars Outlaws: As a lover of all things Star Wars, I was always going to try this out and so far it's not bad. It's fun being something of a villain, playing factions against one another, and the exploration is opened up gradually metroid-style to keep you invested. Sure the characterization is minimal, but I'm only ten hours in and the story is full of appropriate twists and turns that keep me guessing. Not as much fun as the Jedi series, but worth a look.
The usual..EA wrc rally,Arc raiders,BF6 and halls of torment..At least my cough has virtually gone now and I feel a hell of a lot better..Have a cracker of a weekend folks 👍
@Dalamar hmmm Ghost of Yogurt sounds interesting 😉😅😅.....intrigued to know what the gameplay mechanic is 😅
The best action game this year is Monster Hunter Wilds. No game captures battle with monsters this outstanding. I mean we know MH's gameplay is one of its selling points but surprised they've been able to increase it further especially in the way of animations. The animations coupled with the graphics is incredible. I think the gatherings by your palico/handler and your Seikret following scoutflies is actually believable and realistic. I don't think I can make too much time for other games, MH Wilds is just too good!
Cycling between BF6 and DQ1&2 HD. Also have Arc Raiders but I've only done the tutorial
@trymer89 loved Star Wars Outlaws - the DLC is great too if you do end up completing the game, it's well worth it
Battlefield 6 for me and hopefully finish Until Dawn tonight. I'm also close to halfway through Far Cry primal so maybe try and get that finished too if I've got enough time.
@KingPev if you played Ghost of Sushi before, you have the general idea.
Played since last week 🙂
The Outer Worlds 2 - so I've already finished the game! It took me about 17 hours, I expected it to be longer but then I didnt do much of the side content so theres probably a couple of hours of content I havent played. I had a lot of fun with the game and its a pretty big improvement all around from the first game imo. Lots of different ways to play and build your character and many different solutions to problems during missions etc which is really great and important in a game like this. So all in all I'm impressed and really enjoyed the game!
Alan Wake 2 - So I've surprised myself by choosing to play this, and again by not quitting at the first scare. Cant really handle scary ***** anymore 😂 but this is more creepy and less scary imo so maybe I can get through this... a couple of hours in and so far its really good!
And of course Battlefield 6 in between 🙂
Happy gaming!
For the last few days I've just been playing the Resident Evil 1 remake. I've done a knife only run, a no save run and just finished Real Survival mode this morning. Now I need a break from it, so I might play Resident Evil Zero instead

@Dalamar ....sold ! 😅😅
Outer Worlds 2 really enjoying this great game pass addition. Ghost Of Yotei, Silent Hill f
I'm not sure what i want to play this weekend. Either Resonance of Fate, Valkyria Chronicles 4, or Uncharted 2...hmmmm 🤔
Finished:
Outside gaming, i'm just gonna watch It: Welcome to Derry and read a couple of manga that i recently bought.
Oh and Predator: Badlands is pretty good 👍
Have a great weekend everyone 🍻
Hopefull finishing Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter on the Switch 2 and starting Castlevania Harmony of Dissonance.
Also some Fortnite with friends on Ps5.
Arc Raiders most weekend, this morning struggling getting out of , keep getting killed by the bots all time, so my crafting material is being depleated at moment. Love this game having a great time with it.
Probably some Nightreign but mostly BF6.
I won't be playing much else between now and Christmas.
i’m giving disco elysium another go, wasn’t in the head space for a talking sim when i first played it 4 or so years ago. seems to be clicking this time around. in non-gaming hobbies i’ll be applying a gloss coat to a subaru sambar 1/24 model kit
Some vampire survivors, a couple of matches in UFL and some Hell let loose. Might start Silent Hill 2 remake.
Have a great weekend!
Absolum and Ball X Pit 😃
Suikoden II and Sniper Elite as per usual, with a bit of Satisfactory, which my youngest has been playing this week and seems to be enjoying. I've not tried it yet, but I get the feeling I'm going to be terrible at it
It's been a few weeks, but I am still finishing up Far Cry Primal, one boss camp to go, and also, the inevitable, Balatro, where I conquered the Painted and Anaglyph decks this week, so it's the Plasma deck today. I might have been late to the party, because I only got it with the Essential monthly games, but Balatro is by far my 2025 game of the year, seemingly so simple but endlessly playable.
I'll be indulging in some more Outer Worlds 2, interspersed with a couple of Master Horde runs in Gears 5 as a trio instead of a team of 5 that the difficulty really demands. Much more difficult and challenging, but all the more rewarding when you get a map done...
Started Dirt 5 during the week, so will probably get a bit more of that done… and if schedules align some more of the forever-grind that is Resident Evil: Revelations 😩
I’ve got my Platinum for Power wash simulator 2 and now I’m stuck. My next Platinum will be number 200 and I want to make it a milestone one. I’m considering getting Persona 5 Royal, Yakuza Hawaii or….Robocop hahahaha.
On PlayStation:
Assassin's Creed Shadows
Doing missions in the Izumi Settsu starting area with Naoe. Currently level 5.
On other platforms:
1000xRESIST
Completed Chapter 1.
American Truck Simulator
Just started the game after moving on from Euro Truck Simulator for a bit. Delivered big tyres from San Francisco to Ukiah after taking out a loan to buy a second hand truck. Delivered fruit juice to Modesto. Delivered packaged food to Los Angeles. Delivered a frac tank to Stockton. Delivered a wheel loader to Fresno. Delivered a harvester to San Diego. Took out another loan to build a garage in Sacramento, buy some trucks, and hire some drivers. After 3 days my DF Logistics trucking empire has 4 trucks.
Ball x Pit
Completed the Bone Yard with the Achy Finger and the Repentant. Completed the Snowy Shores with the Achy Finger.
The Legend of Zelda
Completed the fifth dungeon and obtained the Power Bracelet and Magical Sword. Currently at 13 hearts.
Having finished with Lorelei and the Laser Eyes (utterly fantastic game), I'm moving onto something completely different this weekend and giving PS1 classic Vagrant Story a spin. I've heard the gameplay systems are pretty convoluted and in-depth. I've got a week off work this week so hopefully I'll have the time (and the energy) to get into it and enjoy it. I'm already impressed by the art style which is amazing by PS1 standards.
This week I’ve been working still on Cronos The New Dawn and it is phenomenal. I’ll dip in and out of Arc Raiders all weekend as I cannot get enough of extracting in a stealth manner, and of course continue with my new obsession BallxPit as I chase completing all of the levels, only one left!
I’ve tinkered in demos for the new Digimon and Silly Polly Beast as well. And I’m debating finally getting to the DLC Phantom Liberty
So much to play!
Enjoy the weekend all
The Witcher 3. 70 hours played and I've only just washed up on the Skellige Isles. What a game.
Doing some chalice dungeon exploration in bloodborne and trying the survival mode in uncharted 4
Playing the brilliant Ori and the Blind Forest.

First time for me since it was XBOX only back in my PS4 days.
Battlefield 6 for me this weekend. Played some more of the Gauntlet on RedSec last night but a lot of the rando's just don't have a clue what they're doing and they don't play the objective so I'll probably avoid it for the time being.
I'll also continue my playthrough of Ni No Kuni on Switch 2. Playing it in Japanese and I actually understand a good chunk of it so that's going somewhat well.
Finished MGS Delta Snake Eater on Thursday so will be going through the Snake vs Monkey game mode.
Plan on progressing a bit further with SH2 Remake, AC2, Clair Obscur and FF1 Pixel Renaster.
Other then that I plan on doing some tidying and building some of my Lego set I started last week
@hugoadan Awww man, good luck with the watchdog!
Satisfactory made the jump from PC to PS5 on Tuesday and I made the jump with it. At the moment I've set up a good system of automated iron, copper and cement. The game-play loop is to take ores and refine them into materials, then take those materials and refine and manufacture them into more advanced components. I.E: copper would be further refined into copper sheets for pipes, wire and then wire into cable.
As you continue to meet the various milestones your factories and facilities expand and grow with your various needs. I never thought I'd see it on console or that I'd abandon my PC world but here we are.
My first automated coal plant went up today. It's smoggy but gets the job done.
Edit: Here's an example of a small working automated copper line. The miner pulls the ore up and out, the ore then splits off into a series of smelters which make ingots, the ingots pass through various constructors that then create the copper sheets (for pipes) cables (for power lines) and the wire. It then passes through a tunnel I built that leads back to my main Hub where it enters the basement level and through the use of conveyor lifts it ends up in a system of organized containers. Each container is lined up with it's corresponding label so all I have to do is grab the material needed from the corresponding container. It has a little bit of a learning curve but once you get it the game becomes deeply satisfying. The wires are a bit of a mess too, I'm waiting to unlock pylons. I'll probably wall and roof off the area too.
Hello again, y'all! This weekend I'm playing:
Switch:
Animal Crossing New Horizons: I was originally going to put this game on hiatus after paying off the Harv's Island co-ops, but then I thought that with the new update coming out, I decided that now is actually the perfect time to dive back in for a few months. I've also let my younger sister play a bit with my supervision like we did a few times back in 2023 and 2024, and we've already increased the number of hours for ACNH on my profile by 10!
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: I recently completed my spirit collection (the last major thing I needed to do in the game), so now I have no particular reason to play this, but I might do a few online battles if I find the time to do so.
Super Mario Maker 2: I'm going to be uploading another new level today after a two week break, most likely a short time after I post this comment.
PS4:
Super Neptunia RPG: This game has been taking up the bulk of my playtime lately. Since this was a library game and I have to return it soon, I purchased a digital copy on sale for $7.50. All of my party members are currently around level 30.
Last week I talked about totaling my car. Since then I hadn’t missed a day of work despite being in pain. I finally went to the doctor yesterday because of the persistent headaches and back issues. It turns out that I have two compression fractures on my vertebrae, so that’s why my mobility has been difficult. Now onto the games!
I beat Dragon Quest 1 from the remake double package. It was excellent, albeit too long. That may sound peculiar considering the game can be beaten in approximately ten to twelve hours, but it drags on extensively near the end.
As of right now I’m starting to prefer games that don’t require a lot of brainpower. To be specific, rouge-likes such as Ball x Pitt, Absolum, and Hades 2. I don’t have the mental fortitude to play The Outer Worlds 2, Metal Gear Solid Delta, Silent Hill F, and more in my ever growing backlog.
Along with my mindless rogue-likes, I earnestly started Shinobi: Art of Vengeance on my Switch 2. Holy moly; this is everything I’ve wanted in my 2D action platformers. Here I thought Ninja Gaiden Ragebound — a game I got the platinum for — was top tier, and whilst it is great, Joe Musashi blows it out of the water.
For starters, it’s arguably the most gorgeous 2D side scroller I’ve ever played. The artwork is stunning in every facet with no weak detail at all, whether that’s the backdrops, character animations, cutscene transitions with dialogue boxes, and enemy designs. It all blends together to create an aesthetically pleasing experience.
Furthermore, it is a contained package that has all the goods: secret areas, combat challenges, collectibles, upgrades, and replayability. What impresses me the most is that it’s not a mere left-to-right platformer. There are several nonlinear locations littered throughout each map and you can choose which stages to tackle first. In addition, the levels themselves aren’t short. There is a Metroidvania element as you obtain new abilities that allow you to replay maps with different routes.
The game really shines in its action. There are many ways to approach combat, with a wide arsenal of abilities to expand how you tackle enemies. Combat has a real weight to it as well—you can feel every hit on the baddies. But the game isn’t easy and can pose a real challenge if you aren’t careful as you’ll face numerous enemies at once with their own unique move-sets.
When you get into a rhythm, however, it feels like you’re dancing in a ballet. Mix that in with tight platforming, fun levels with various means of traversal, a bolstering soundtrack that keeps you engaged from the start, and you have a recipe of pure adrenaline fueled bliss. Shinobi is back, and better than ever.
I’m going out out tonight, but I hope to fit in a bit of Simpsons Fortnite and proceed on my replay of Ghost of Tsushima.
I played some more Digimon Story Time Stranger but this weekend is for me to (hopefully) complete Ghost of Yotei and start working on the platinum.
Hoping everyone has a great time gaming this weekend!
I played through Reach on psvr2 nearly twice and I am still far from having found all the collectables.
I paused Ghost of Tsushima for a bit to free some time for Stray on ps+ before my subscription runs out (which I may or may not extend immediately). I always wanted to play Stray but somehow never bought it. Great game so far (scenery, story, score). Playing the game I am always thinking how great it would be if one could see the world in VR. Though, I would not have a good idea how a VR adaptation could look like (likely just a 3rd person platformer like Astro Bot Rescue Mission or Max Mustard).
Then, many new psvr2 games just released. But, I have not decided yet which ones to pick up. Likely, I will start with of Lies and Rain, since I really enjoyed the demo.
More Yotei for me, really enjoying it and I've decided I am going for the platinum!
Happy gaming folks!
PS5 - Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, Ninja Gaiden 4, Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage, Full Metal Schoolgirl
Switch 2 - Mario Kart World, Street Fighter 6, Donkey Kong Bananza
Boogerman: A Pick and Flick Adventure on Evercade
Arc Raiders, decided it will be my 200th platinum trophy.
Although I’ll try and vary it up a bit, who am I kidding? It’ll be Arc Raiders! I also have Katamari Reroll downloaded to satisfy my Japanese gaming itch… never played any of the katamari games so quite looking forward to that.
Have a blast everyone… and if you see me Raiding Arcs, please “don’t shoot!”
Continuing my 4th Ghost of Yotei playthrough, on Lethal.
Love this game. Already have the platinum, and the challenge on lethal difficulty is great fun.
Still finishing Yotei, what a ride!
Im thinking about trying Outer worlds 2 on GPU very soon. I bounced off the first one, but Id be silly to miss the chance to try this one while Im back on game pass.
Intend to get some more races in on Test drive solar crown and get started on wreckreation too (daft name but the racing seems to feel fun)
Whatever you are playing this weekend, I hope you have fun.
@Kraven Sorry to hear about the accident and your back. Hope you heal up fine...
I've officially relapsed and am back to my Satisfactory ways. So good to finally have this game on console.
Finished Spider-man Remastered last night. First PS5 game (I switched to a PS5 Slim from a Series X); really enjoyed it and an emotional ending! Did a lot, not 100% in every region of NY, but enough to satisfy me and max out the skills.
Not sure what to get next. Thinking maybe GT7 or Demon’s Souls? I’ll probably go back to Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom on Switch first; very close to the end now, just got to get to the last boss (and do any more shrines/depths light roots I feel like)
@Titntin Thanks! I’m wearing a back brace and trying to be as physically active as I typically am. I should be good in due time, though!
Finally started Death stranding directors cut. I hope to have time to continue it
Still working my way through Borderlands 4. It’s a massive game absolutely packed with stuff to do. Thoroughly enjoying it thus far. Probably the mechanically best one ever although 2 will likely always have the best story. Hope everyone has a great weekend and enjoys whatever they’re playing!
Grinding out accessories for treasure hunter trophy on FF13. Forgot how bad it was. And hoping Stoke take down Coventry. COYP
@trymer89 Star Wars Outlaws has some flaws that are pretty evident. But it nailed the Star Wars atmosphere better than any of the games in the franchise I have ever played. The vibes alone make it worth playing.
Hope you enjoy it!
@Hootnoodle Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is not the best game I have played this year, but it is absolutely the most fun. What a blast! Robocop is great too (especially if you grew up with Robocop).
Congrats in advance on Plat 200! I am……SLIGHTLY behind that figure……😃
I am still enjoying Outer Worlds 2. It is not a classic or anything, but it improves upon the first game a good bit (and I enjoyed the first one too).
There has been a stupid virus working its way through my family one by one since Halloween, and it is finally my turn. Bad news: I feel lousy. Good news: everyone else is over it and healthy, and I will have plenty of time for gaming during recovery!
Pints, burgers, breakfast by the seaside this weekend, so no gaming.
I do have the Death Stranding 2 five hour trial from Premium lined up for post-drudgery on Monday at least!
Decided to use my Ps4 for once for some Earth Defence Force action (I main green team lol). Played a bit of 4.1. Saw the deluxe edition of Earth Defence Force 6 on sale and cheaper than standard. Bought it.
More ARC raiders I guess. I'm kind of addicted to this game and IDK why. I guess the OCD loop of collecting and gearing up before dumpster diving. But the quests in this game are bland, pointless and even the actions involved in game for these quests are soooo lame. Yet this game has its teeth in me. lmao
@Westernwolf4 thank you, it’s been 5 years in the making for my Platinum collection (keeping healthy boundaries lol). Yeah Im thinking of doing Pirate yakuza, it’s half finished so would be nice to round it out.
Finished Like A Dragon on Thursday night; I was so in the palm of the game's hand that the ending shocked me and had me tearing up lol! I can now definitely say it IS one of my favorite game of all time, and a lot of that weighs on the shoulders of Ichiban Kasuga - if I did not care or root for that man, this would've had less of an impact on me. Ichi is such an incredible and well-written character; in some moments he's God's favorite idiot and others, he is the guiding beacon for your party and the story at large.
That said, in an effort to cleanse the palate - and because I heard this ties into Like A Dragon: Gaiden which also heavily relates to Infinite Wealth - I started up Judgment which will be my first foray into the proper Yakuza-style gameplay. I'm not that far into it - JUST finished the opening case - but I'm excited to dive deeper into RGG's catalog.
Also mildly intrigued by Dragon Quest since Like A Dragon/Ichiban is heavily "inspired" by it... Is 3 Remake a good starting point? If I loved LAD, would I enjoy it?
@Dalamar I'm 80 hours into Ghost of Yotei and beat the Kitsune earlier this morning. I've been spending so much time searching out every secret and generally just enjoying riding around in the world that I haven't noticed that I'm lagging way behind the standard run time. 😅 I still consider it time well spent because I flipping love this game.
@Kraven Dude, Shinobi was so much fun! I 100% it (except the final secret boss...) a couple weeks after it launched, but I can't wait for the DLC to drop next year. Would you recommend Ragebound after having played Art of Vengeance? I've been eyeing it for a while, but I need to beat Yotei and Persona 3 Reload first.
@GirlVersusGame I’m really interested in this game. How is the performance so far on PS5?
@Don_Quixote227 I would definitely recommend Ninja Gaiden Ragebound. It’s a very good game, and pays homage to the NES era of NG games. It’s definitely up there with the best action platformers this year.
Practicing combos in FF City of the Wolves. Trying to main Chun Li, a bit tricky but fun character. Street Fighter 6 as well.
@Kiefer-Sutherland Surprising in the best way. I was worried when they said it would be Unreal 5 because a lot of U5 games that I have played had some slight or major issues when they did make it to console. Ark for example, the job they did on the port was mediocre and it shows after you start building up a sizable base. I've had no frame drops or stutters at all on this game. I thought switching to controller might hamper the game too but they did an amazing job with that too. There are wheels for hotbars (10 of them) the UI and inventory management is identical to PC. There's a little bit of pop-in with pebbles on the ground if you play on performance mode but it doesn't affect the actual draw distance. The only downside is that it can steal hours out of your day and you won't know it. I played until 4am and thought it was maybe midnight. I don't know about multiplayer because I've just been playing solo and burning through Netflix. I've been fairly busy in the forums too and only saw one report of a crash since Tuesday. I had the game running for 14hrs without a hiccup, if the tracker is right I've logged 64hrs.
It might be worth adding what I saw a couple of weeks ago, it speaks volumes about the Devs. Someone posted a farewell on reddit, they'd logged 6K hours and had since developed an eye problem which meant they couldn't play anymore. A Dev responded and said they were calling a meeting that day to see if they could implement something into the game to help anyone with that same condition. I've never seen any studio go out of their way to help their community like that. I've no doubt that they will deliver on all of the promised updates (in time with PC) and with any necessary patches.
No gaming for me this weekend. Beach vacation with the wife & kids.
But my most recent gaming consists of Platinuming Echoes of the End and on to Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. Echoes of the End is a good game! Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is a great game! Really slept on! Wish more people gave them a chance.
PS5 Pro - Ghost of Yōtei, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered
Steam Deck OLED - Dead Space Remake (Impossible mode run), Ghostbusters The Video Game Remastered, Mad Max, Shenmue
Switch 2 - Overcooked 2 NSW2 Edition, Rune Factory Guardians of Azuma NSW2 Edition
Maybe I’ll finally go back to Yotei or start with Arc Raiders? The Kirby demo is this weekend too, so I’ll try to do that. I haven’t played much of anything this week, so I’d like to play something.
Continuing coop play of baldurs gate 3,
Just tinkering with a game or two maybe until dawn ps5 on plus until sacred 2 remaster on tuesday
@Don_Quixote227 sweet. I made the mistake of going to the point of no return too early. I wish i stayed in yotei alot longer, doing more side stuff and taking in the world before beating. So many games to get to. But Yotei is def a game worthy of a 2nd playthrough much later down the line
Got the platinum in Sonic Frontiers and absolutely loved that game, hoping for a sequel. Started up Hirogami and so far it’s a cool indie game and I’m enjoying it. I got it on sale for $19.99 and I think that’s the perfect price point opposed to its $29.99 retail price.
Playing VF5 REVO World Stage. I'm bummed that Push Square didn't end up doing a review
I've been testing out the new features of my Portal. I have tried more games than I'd care to mention.
Killer Frequency - cozy little game that I intend to finish.
The Last of Us 2: Remastered - In my playthrough, the whole game lasts 30 minutes. It is open ended: Joel and Ellie are living their best lives and Abby's ugly face is smashed in by the first and last Zombie in the game. 10/10.
EA: WRC The Rally game. I like the music and that there are 'moments' from real life to emulate. But I spend more time rolling the car around than staying on track. It is more difficult than GT7 which is hard enough.
Persona 5 Tactica y Silent Hill 2. Trying to platinum one of them this weekend🤞
I´ll continue playing Last of Us Part2 Remastered this weekend. Also downloading games just to be prepared for whatever I´ll be in the mood after I finish Part2.
Will also check F1 GP, Grand Slam of darts, PL - definitely looking forward to ManCity vs LFC tomorrow.
Enjoy the weekend and happy gaming, everyone!
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown - First time playing a game in the series. So far a pretty enjoyable Metroidvania after a few hours of play.
Dungeon Hunter 5 (Windows Phone) - Still in the early going so far...
Twins (Windows Phone) - On the last bonus level may it rot in hell...
In a few minutes its time to hopefully watch the Montreal Alouettes eliminate the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the CFL Eastern Final. Fingers crossed
@EfYI Killer Frequency will have you going back for all the endings, it's an easy enough 100% if that's your thing. One of my favorite Indies of the year, I hope people aren't sleeping on it.
@GirlVersusGame
I just finished it - good voice work, and an okay, entertaining story with room for laughs, but I am not a trophy hunter. I ended up with about half the board crossed off, so I am quite happy to leave it there. The game respected my time and that is perfect for PS Plus.
Borderlands 3 (Series X) Continuing on with the Guns Love and Tentacles DLC. Really like the cosmic horror vibe of this DLC.
ARC Raiders and loving every second of it!
Just saw the opening concert for “Death Stranding: Stands of Harmony” in Sydney last night, so I’ll absolutely be continuing my journey in DS2 📦🧡😺
Starlink on Switch, lol. It clicked when I started treating it like a Star Fox game. I'm playing the digital version. The toy BS kept me away for a while. Anyway! Its a Saturday morning cartoon, for sure, but the tech is crazy impressive and the Star Fox stuff is just wonderful.
Other than that, some Nightslashers and Tactics Ogre on the Retroid. I'd recommend the Retroid 5 just for PSP emulation. That library is just incredible.
@Kraven Ragebound is terrific.
@Tasuki
That's funny because I am playing B3 Guns Love and Tentacles DLC as well just started it really. At the party where he puts the ring on and we get back to the hotel.
Got the platinum for Borderlands 3 and making my way through the DLC. Also playing Battlefield 6 mainly the multiplayer. Just got the trophy for planting/defusing five M-COMs.
Happy weekend everyone! My time has been spent mostly with Ball x Pit on Switch, which is great and highly addictive. And on the side its been Rush Rally Origins on PS5. Have a great rest of your weekend!
I'm still replaying The Last of Us Remastered, Grounded is alot harder than I thought.
After I beat Grounded+, I still have the multiplayer trophies and Left Behind to tackle.
I'll also be returning to Jak 2 & 3, Kena, and Stray to obtain their respective platinums.
I’m in no man’s land at the moment. I’ve fallen off ghost of yotei (although I plan to return) and have been dipping in and out of:
Balatro (someone help me!)
Witcher 3 (3rd attempt to click with this)
Arc raiders (enjoying but it’s more of a short bursts game for me)
Undertale
Nothing is holding my attention for long so I think it’s a me problem.
@SterlingEyes Up the difficulty to "Death March" in Witcher 3 and you'll have to learn all the mechanics in the game early on. After maybe 10 hours in, you won't find it difficult anymore and you'll have the gameplay at your fingertips. That's how I made it stick and I suck at Bloodborne (this is just for hard difficulty comparison purposes)
Not alot this weekend. Got a new cartridge for my record player yesterday so installed that and got it all tracked and aligned and have been blasting some tunes out and just chilling out. I might find some time in the evening but nothing too hectic for me. I'm in "cant be bothered to use my brain" mode when it comes to games lately so alot of Wreckfest.
Life Is Strange: True Colors replay then Madison, a very underrated survival horror title in theory.
I’ll be off most of the weekend hunting pheasants with my German short haired pointer, but managed to squeeze in a little bit of Vanquish last night. Ended up completing Act 2. What a fun game! Such a unique experience from Platinum Games. Surprised I missed this back on the PS3. Thank God for the remaster though!
For me this was a pretty VR heavy weekend. I put a couple hours into Of Lies and Rain, an action heavy adventure set in a world destroyed by an evil AI. While it won’t win any prizes for originality so far it’s very fun.
Reloading guns is nerve racking business in the middle of a fight. Each gun loads differently but for an empty pistol you have to eject the spent clip, grab a clip from your backpack, slap it into your gun and rack the slide. To save a bit of time you can pop the empty clip with one in the chamber and spare the second it takes to rack the slide. You can also just grasp a clip and hold it in your free hand until you need to reload it and eject partially full clips (and pick them off the ground later after the fight). I’ve died trying to reload a few times. That being said death doesn’t set you back real far (the start of a room).
Also I started VRacer Hoverbike. It’s Wipeout with hoverbikes and exactly the sort of over the top arcade racer I’ve been waiting for. I think it feels quite a bit different though I confess I only used stick and trigger/button controls in Wipeout (IIRC there was some sort of motion control option). In VRacer I use a mix of stick and motion controls (I steer with the stick and brake and accelerate with the triggers but I lean to get my biker to lean).
In a nice touch you can choose if and how much your camera is tied to your racer (who moves around constantly and is often leaning to one side) as opposed to just being positioned behind the vehicle and remaining stable. My time dramatically improved when I went balls to the wall and fully tied the camera to character. There are a lot of tracks (I think 15) and race types and of course all the tracks have reverse modes.
There are extensive visual customization options which I dipped my toe into despite not having any drawing skill. You can paint anything you want, write text and slap it on the vehicle or just do what I did and just set the colors of bike parts.
