Not buying until physical release will exist. I had ps4 disc but sold it when finished the game on ps4. Really dissapointed we can not upgrade ps+ version, they are losing lot of money by this bad decision imo. Game itself is great, definitely deserves a sequel
In the last chapter of Plague Tale Innocence (PS5). Hope I'll wrap it up today, but not sure if I jump right into the sequel or will start something else.
Apart from gaming, lots of sport too: PL (congrats to Liverpool FC, well deserved this season), darts, F1...
MS does not need to increase price of game pass as PS players are funding it pretty well currently
Honestly, I don´t care about games price at all because I buy day1 few times per generation. I decide when the price is OK for me and I´m old enough to be influenced by FOMO. The same I did when prices 50/60/70 and will do when price is 80. I have so huge backlog of games (physical and digital) that I don´t need to buy new game for next 2-3 years...
I was sick during a week and not in the mood for my main game which is Ys VIII - Lacrimosa of Dana, but was able to finish chapter 3 at least. Now at the beginning of chapter 4 but feel I need a break nearing 30hrs playtime and to play something else for a while.
So picked up and already finished Planet of Lana which took me only about 5-6hrs but it was great experience (loved Limbo and Inside).
Yesterday started A Plague Tale Innocence which is in my backlog for ages.
Wish you Lovely Easter days off and happy gaming, everyone!
I´d appreciate full K+M implementation on PS5, mainly for FPS games should be a must to provide that option at least. I suck at playing FPS games on gamepad which really prevents me from playing Cyberpunk 2077 for instance on PS5...just realised that such game like Cyberpunk not even listed above, unbelievable
I'll continue playing Ys 8: Lacrimosa of Dana on ps5. It's my first jrpg that I'm really invested into for more than 1-2hrs and really enjoying the exploration, combat and learning the new things in the game.
Apart from that, some sessions with my sons in Crash Bandicoot and Astrobot during rainy weekend where I live.
Also looking forward to FA Cup matches, some NHL and NBA in between as usual over the weekend.
BB is special to me, it was first FS game I played and introduced me into this genre. Maybe it´s not the best FS game but it´s definitely my favorite and only platinum I got during my gaming career.
Also, DLC for BB is my favorite with best boss fight Ludwig imo.
At this point, I´d appreciate full remake like Bluepoint did with Demon´s Souls, but if that ever happens, PS6 launch would be the best opportunity, I assume
I´ll continue playing Ys 8: Lacrimosa of Dana - I´m new to JRPG´s eventhough I already tried several ones in the past, but mostly demos - I´m just in the mood to try out something completely out of my comfort zone. Only 5hrs in but really enjoying it.
Also downloaded demo of Atelier Yumia latest game, would like to check it out too.
Whatever you´ll be playing this weekend, have a fun Happy gaming, ya´ll!
I finally beat DS3 2nd DLC last week and not much played since then - was watching yt videos about lore and story because as usual I miss lots of that during my playthrough. So atm I beat DS1+DLC, DS3+DLC's, Bloodborne+DLC (my only platinum), Demon's Souls and of course Elden Ring (DLC - only final boss still to beat but gave up several times already). I love From Soft games and really wondering what they'll do next because Nightreign is not for me.
Now change of genre for me as I decided to give Ys series a try, picked up Ys 8 from current ps sale so that's what I'll be playing this weekend.
Also, looking forward to watching some PL, F1 maybe and of course Carabao Cup final tomorrow.
if this is really true, then I´ll be there day1 but only if there will be physical release this time around...I strongly believe that to release FH5 digital only is a big mistake
I think price is fair considering it's new release on PS and Sony takes 30%. But, when full price I always buy physical copy so no way I buy digital game for full price. Will definitely wait for big discount. The same is valid for any other Xbox game ported to ps5, I honestly hope Gears collection will be physical release, if yes, I'll even preorder it
Still on Dark Souls 3...main game finished. Ashes of Ariandel DLC done - shorter DLC but Sister Friede boss fight was absolutely fantastic! Now I´m on Ringed City DLC and oh boy, still lot to do here. Already in the city area after cool fight with Demon Prince, so the hardest bosses still ahead
Hopefully will be able to finish this DLC and if I do, will definitely play some platformer for a change
Have a nice weekend and enjoy your gaming, everyone!
I really like new HW but for me the biggest issue with pro is its price. Where I live it's 800€ without disc drive, disc drive + stand is additional 130€, that's ridiculous! I already have 4k oled 120hz so should be able to benefit from pro console, but I will not pay this money this time (I had ps4 pro) and will simply not support pro console without disc and stand. Honestly, will definitely wait and consider what ps6 brings to the table and what price it will cost, as I'm really happy with my OG ps5 and will have to see some real benefit to upgrade to ps6 in case ps5 will be still supported like ps4 was this gen
At the end of Dark Souls 3 main game - managed to defeat Nameless King couple days ago and now trying to beat final boss Soul of Cinder. In the meantime also getting through first DLC Ashes of Ariandel - my ass being kicked by Sister Friede right now, after few tries only able to reach phase two still lots to overcome but really enjoying the game.
I'm looking forward to watching PM tomorrow - Man City vs Liverpool FC, hopefully we'll have great match.
Still on Dark Souls 3 - on the way to Nameless King and last Lord of Cinder. DS1 is a masterpiece but DS3 is just better game overall in my opinion. I also bought both DLC´s for DS3 so will be playing this game for next few weeks, I´m afraid...but usually I´m not very keen to finish any DLC once main game is done, with only few exceptions like Bloodborne DLC, so let´s see...
When I´m done with DS3 I´ll probably give Returnal another try after Saros reveal during last SoP. I tried this already when it came to Extra some time ago, but after 1 hour and not much progress I gave up and thought this is just not for me, but sometimes 2nd try worked for me in the past so want to try harder this time and see what happens.
Since we're not getting any showcase anymore I'm afraid, I can't blame gamers expect more 1st party in SoP's now. So absolutely understand they are dissapointed and share it in the comments.
For me this SoP was just okay. Would love to see lot more I'm petsonally interested in (Bloodborne ps5 native version in the 1st place), but as someone who had huge backlog of older titles, I take it as it is.
One thing that was really dissapointing though is no RE announcement - I honestly expected RE9 or new remake to be shown here, hope Capcom will bring it soon
For me big RPG's are souls games created by FS...Elden Ring is my most played game ever with around 250hrs incl. DLC (took me 3-4 months), then it's Bloodborne + DLC with around 180hrs (my only platinum I have), Dark Souls Remastered + DLC around 90hrs...now I'm playing Dark Souls 3 - this will take some weeks definitely. Apart from souls games, most played are God of War 2018 and Days Gone with 80hrs. When I like the game, I want to do most of stuff. I'm yet to play Witcher 3 or Cyberpunk 2077 but afraid of big open worlds...usually 1 big RPG a year for me so let's see...
I decided that's again time for some self-torture so started Dark Souls 3 Only in the 4th area and already 11hrs played, as usual beginning is the worst where I spent some 7hrs. This game will keep me busy for next couple of weeks but I'm ready for a challange.
Whatever you're playing, enjoy and have fun. Happy gaming, ya'll!
I finished Tomb Raider Definitive Edition 2 days ago, just rushed through main story this time as I already played it few years ago on PC. Hopefully we'll see something more from new Tomb Raider game.
Now not yet sure what to play next from my backlog, lot of options: Dark Souls 3, Stellar Blade, HZD Remastered, Mass Effect LE, Control...also picked up Witcher 3 Complete Edition for my collection, eoulf love to start it some time but not sure if I'm willing to commit fully right now.
I finished Silent Hill 2 remake just 2 days ago, but not sure what to play next yet...definitely something from my huge backlog.
Today my sons started Astrobot I bought them for xmas, they´re very happy with it. Of course, I´ll be helping them out whenever needed because they´re still young and not so skilled yet, but yeah it´s great to see how they´re enjoying the game. no surprise at all as they love Astro´s playroom.
Have a nice weekend and HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all!
Well deserved in top10 this year, no matter which place exactly. It's my personal GOTY for sure, masterpiece in psychological horror and hopefully more SH games coming in the future
I´m going to finish Silent Hill 2 remake first. Then I should be playing something from my backlog, but...I picked Tomb Raider DE on a sale, I played it years ago on PC and kind of missing Lara so I want to replay it on ps5 now. I also picked Astrobot for my sons as xmas gift so will definitely enjoy helping them out whenever they need to...
Wish you all Merry Christmas and a lot of great games under Xmas tree!
I continue playing excellent Silent Hill 2 remake. Despite I still haven't finished it, it's already my GOTY. Hope it sells good so we'll get next remake(s) in the future
I´m really looking forward to seeing more in the future about this new IP. Uncharted and LoU games are one of my favorite games ever. I love sci-fi in general, so glad for this change - hope it will end up being great game
I´m not here to say it´s good or bad if it actually happens in the future, but at least I can say it makes sense for Sony to buy them. Absolute opposite to Firewalk acquisition, until today I don´t get why they decided to buy them with none successful release before, blame on Hulst here
Lots of games to play but still in that funny mood to keep jumping between several games and not sticking with any for much longer, but I take it easy tbh. Last couple of days enjoying arcade racing in Grid Legends. I´ve put some games on-hold and started Silent Hill 2 remake for Halloween season...also upgraded HZD for 10eur and downloading right now - I played some hours on ps4 but stopped and never came back, but I find this remaster a good opportunity now to jump back.
I´m playing it right now and it´s badass...really hope that MS will bring Gears of War 1-3 collection on playstation one day, a lot of MS games have been rumoured in this matter, but for me personally just Gears 1-3 would be really the one I really want on ps
I´ve struggled for some time to find a game I´d like to play and enjoy, but it´s about my birthday time so I pushed the button on bying WH40k Space Marine 2 and Stellar Blade for my ps5...started with Space Marine 2 and that´s what I´ll be playing this weekend.
I´m also very tempted to buy Silent Hill 2 remake after all great reviews and reception overall, but performance mode needs some improvement so I´ll wait till it´s patched, but definitely will buy later on.

Re: Far Cry 4 Gets Surprise 60fps Patch for PS5, Update Available Now
Great news. I only played 1 and 3 when I had a PC years ago, this is now good reason for me to play FC4. Btw, it's on sale right now on ps store
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 578
I´ll continue playing A Plague Tale Innocence on PS5. Don´t understand why I slept on this game for so long, it´s really great.
And of course a lot of sport during a weekend, NHL and NBA play-offs, FA Cup, some darts and snooker.
Have a nice weekend and happy gaming, everyone!

I´ll continue playing Ys VIII - Lacrimosa of Dana on PS5 and yesterday started Planet of Lana to mix it up little bit.

Re: What Time Is PlayStation's State of Play for February 2025?
I´ll be there for sure, I like this format and tbh, I´d rather take 4-5 SoP during a year than 1 showcase, but that´s just me of course.
I don´t care Death Stranding 2 but expect Ghost of Yotei to get short gameplay trailer and release date.
Any surprises will be very welcome:
There´s a lot to expect, hope there will be some nice surprises for all of us!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 567
Will continue playing Dark Souls 3 - 2 lords of cinder boss fights ahead, probably will be stuck on them some time.
With kids will be checking some levels in Astrobot, downloaded Pac-man from plus for them to try.
On NSW lite checked demo for latest Donkey Kong game, it's fun so I'll buy it for kids any time soon I guess.
Have an excellent weekend ya'll!

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 566
I´ll continue playing Dark Souls 3 - Jesus, I hate swamp areas in FS games!
When not playing DS3, I´ll be helping my sons with Astrobot.
Also looking forward to derby Arsenal vs Man City tomorrow along with darts masters in Milton Keynes.
Have an excellent weekend, gamers!

I´ll continue playing Tomb Raider DE on ps5. and really thinking to finally start Stellar Blade but let´s see.
On my old laptop I also tried Balatro, but to be honest do not see what´s the hype about - definitely not something I will spend much time with.
Have a nice weekend and happy gaming, everyone!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 562
After finishing Silent Hill 2 remake I need some chilling games
1. Tomb Raider DE (PS5)
2. Balatro (steam)
3. MS Wordament (android)
And helping out my sons with Astrobot if needed. Whatever you're playing, have fun!
Re: Game of the Year: Best PS5 Developer of 2024

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 559
I continue playing excellent Silent Hill 2 remake. Despite I still haven't finished it, it's already my GOTY. Hope it sells good so we'll get next remake(s) in the future
Re: Poll: Vote for Your PS5 Game of the Year 2024
1. Silent Hill 2 remake

I'll continue playing excellent Silent Hill 2 remake, only 7 hrs in but lost some time with tricky coin puzzle.
I downloaded My first GT demo yesterday so definitely will be checking it out this weekend.
Whatever you're playing, have a fun!

Re: Rumour: FromSoftware Classic Getting the Remaster Treatment

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 555
I´ll be playing Silent Hill 2 remake this weekend
Re: No Xbox Games Are Off the Table for Release on PS5, Says Phil Spencer
Gears 1-3 and Forza Horizon 4/5 for me then
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 553
Have a nice weekend and happy gaming!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 551
Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2 - awesome game.
And today also some PL, Liverpool vs Chelsea. Hope it's gonna be great match and LIV wins.
Have a nice weekend and happy gaming y'all
Re: Space Marine 2 Rallies 4.5 Million Players, Content Updates Inbound

Re: Classic PS4 Racer DriveClub Is Now a Decade Old
