Did you have a good Thanksgiving? We sincerely hope you're enjoying the holidays if you celebrate. And if you don't, well, it's the weekend now anyway. Time to play some games!

I'm karate chopping down the last five weekends of 2025 in 1990s style, by examining Jin Kazama's Mishima karate technique in the PS1's Tekken 3, and by downloading an obscure Video System 1991 coin-op, recently released as Arcade Archives Karate Blazers.

I'll just be continuing my Dispatch playthrough. I finished episode 1 and haven't had the time to go back since, so I'm looking forward to seeing where the story goes.
Sammy Barker
Infinity Nikki's big update finally brought me back after I soured on the game a little bit earlier this year. I'm really enjoying exploring the new area and unlocking all of Nikki's new abilities.
Stephen Tailby
I'm playing a couple of things for review right now, and I'm also still really enjoying dipping into Lumines Arise, chipping away at the Trophies and trying to get better.
Those are the games we're playing this weekend, then, but what about the rest of you? Let us know in the comments section below.

I am playing Symphony of the Night ... again. It never gets old! Masterpiece!
And something new for me, Space Marine 2, although I have never played 1 or any Warhammer game before. The game looks amazing and filled with lore!
On the side I will play Skyward Sword
Happy gaming!
Still pretty engrossed in core keeper for now.
Ill start and probably finish Thank goodness you're here this weekend.
Some more Insurgency. Playing against bots in this game is brutal!
Have a great weekend!
Playing Helldivers 2 the whole weekend, already had 2020 super credits for the warbond coming next Tuesday, almost medals capped so I will just enjoy missions.
Been playing Borderlands 2 all week… and I’m pretty into it. I remember playing a fair bit of the first one solo, back on ps3 but never felt the pull to go back to the series. It’s been co-op with the sequel and I think it’s clicking for me. Wrapped up the main game and 1 & a half dlc’s, so looking to finish at least the second dlc this weekend.
I think that I’ll definitely go on to play 3 and 4… and might even go back to 1 again and maybe even The Pre-sequel and the two Tiny Tina games too.
Also, I ordered a ps5 pro last night… so hopefully that’ll be arriving sometime this weekend.
Been playing Croc: Legend Of The Gobbos - Platinum Edition the past few nights, a world each evening and been enjoying it. Despite the controls being modernised it's still a fairly challenging platformer!
I'm feeling the itch of playing a JRPG however so I might finally crack open my copy of Metaphor Refantazio
Have a good weekend everyone
More adventures with Tav & Co. At this rate I’ll still be playing BG3 at WAYP issue #700. The game is so long but it’s oh, so good.
@graymamba Welcome to team Pro! For some reason I thought you already had one. I hope you end up enjoying the extra oomph that the Pro brings. Did you opt for getting a disc drive also?
Edit: Ah, I just now checked and saw your post on the Pro thread in the forums. I am behind on the forums so hadn’t seen it yet.
Was just investigating what happened to an ambushed merchant who had an item I was looking for. Found a mill nearby, thought I'd ask the inhabitants a few questions instead they greeted me with weapons, had to make a run for it and come back in the night to sneak. In a barn, found some tortured people lying motionless, still sneaking, came across hostages tied in an attic who said they were the actual owners of the mill and that it had been overtaken by bandits. The Miller asked me to take care of the bandits and come for a reward, at the same time I had to find that item that got me there in the first place. These chain of events, one thing leading to another in a simple side quest is what makes KCD2 so great. Might sound simple but words can't really describe, you need to be in Henry's shoes and feel the high immersion. And there are more like this. I'll be playing the hard to put down MH Wilds also, some Skyrim and whatever else I feel like.
Well im off to york tomorrow to watch some snooker till tuesday. But just started still wakes deep this morning so play that till this afternoon, enjoying it so far. Other than that not much this weekend.
Days Gone Remastered and AC Shadows. Have a good weekend all!
After 166hrs I finally got the Platinum for the excellent Diablo III last Sunday. Thoroughly enjoyed it and want to play the 2nd but gonna hold off for a bit.
I’ve just bought The Witcher 3 as never played it before. Liking what I’ve played so far albeit just doing small quests to get used to it.
Balatro of course (61% so far) and I’ve started playing Warhammer Boltgun for some mindless gun violence 😂
A lot of football and usual family shenanigans as well!
Have a great gaming weekend Pushsquarians! 🍻
Still on Power Washer 2. Nothing else getting a look in.
Back on ARC Raiders again and need to make a decision about whether to undertake the expedition - the game's version of a season reset - or not. Making it optional, combined with my indecisiveness and the lack of clarity on just how good the rewards will be versus continuing to build my character out instead... not an easy decision. I'd love to know what others are planning and why!
I also started Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden after hearing lots of great things in these very forums and I'm impressed so far, particularly with the atmosphere and the voice acting. Early days but I can see me completing the game, though not going for the 'needs two playthroughs' platinum.
i’ll be chipping away at chapter 3 in tell me why on the personal computer. once that is done i’ll be starting eriksholm on the 5pro
For me it's been Stalker 2. Just like it's been all of this week. Quite surprised we haven't seen the review here yet, but it really is quite exceptional. Running on a base PS5. It's buttery smooth. I've had one crash in 40 odd hours of play. I haven't really noticed any bugs. I did have a dead enemy clipping a wall last night. Again, that's the first time in 40 odd hours. It looks stunning. The gunplay is superb. The inventory management took a little bit of fiddling to work out as games don't come with any manuals these days, but I'm really, really loving it. In fact, it's fast become my favourite non-soulsborne game and I can see myself replaying this eventually I say eventually because it's huge. The AI is great and I've had some really enjoyable gun fights.
I’m playing the excellent yakuza pirates in Hawaii. I’m really enjoying this & I also like how it takes places in new locations.
Remedy-verse starting with
On Playstation:
Assassin's Creed Shadows
Doing missions in the Izumi Settsu region with Naoe. Assassinated 3 Onryo. Currently level 11.
On other platforms:
1000xRESIST
Finished the game. A visual novel cum walking sim with great world-building and a complex, well-written if somewhat convoluted story. An excellent game slightly marred by some confusing navigation and frame rate issues. A-Tier.
American Truck Simulator
Delivered cheese to Sacramento. After 5 days my DF Logistics trucking empire has 4 trucks.
Ball x Pit
Completed the Bone Yard. the Snowy Shores , the Liminal Desert, the Fungal Forest, and the Gory Grassland with all characters. Completed the Smouldering Depths with 10 new characters. Completed the Heavenly Gates with 4 new characters. Completed the Empty Void with 2 new characters.
The Legend of Zelda
Working my way through the eighth dungeon. Having some difficulty cheesing my way through some of the rooms by standing in the doorway and shooting. Currently at 15 hearts.
Bought Outer Worlds 2 in the sale played about an hour or so last night looking forward to getting stuck in today. I'll also probably play some Battlefield 6 multiplayer later on.
Spiderman on ps portal

Yotei NG+ for me.
Having a great time with it again the second time around.
YS IX, still on chapter 4 !
Greetings fellow video game enthusiasts. This weekend shall be spent bish bash boshing baddies in bed. Shinobi: Art of Vengeance is what I will playing in order to achieve this. I purchased a new television for purposes such as these. Let’s end this week in style.
Playing through Sakuna of Rice and Ruin and Neo the World Ends with You.
I’m finally playing Halo, having picked up the collection in a recent sale. This game is actually really good, I can see why it was so popular at the time. I knew the combat would feel similar to Destiny, but I am surprised by how much it does.. and this was in 2001?!
As if Killzone was ever supposed to be a Halo killer 😂
This past week I've focused on
Dying Light:the Beast - and I'm really enjoying it. Its obvious it started as a DLC as the map is smaller compared to the other games. Its not as good as the first game imo, but I like it quite a bit more than the second and I’m having a blast playing it. For me its one of those 7/10 games that is just so much fun to play I totally overlook some minor flaws here and there. Story is fine, side missions are varied, exploration is fun, parkouring is great, being out at night is scary as ***** especially when the volatiles come for you and popping zombie heads is awesome 🙂
Having finished with Vagrant Story (fun, compulsive game, but flawed by modern standards - could really benefit from a remake with some QoL improvements), I'm going to be playing Creaks this weekend. I've had my eye on Amanita Design ever since I played Machinarium ages ago - their quirky, playful and arty games really hit the spot for me. Like kids' storybooks brought to life.
After 340 hours im considering finishing the main plot line on death stranding 2, currently on mission 12
@Th3solution yeah, I’m no longer a mere amateur 😉.
I had always planned on getting a pro prior to its release but when they announced it was releasing without a disk drive, was put off… and also to a lesser extent by the price.
Then I was waiting on whether GTAVI would run at 60fps on it, which we obviously still don’t know… but now just felt like the right price and the right time.
I’ve asked the missus to get me the disk drive for my stocking (so no extra ‘personal’ charge 😉).
Phoenix Wright, Tiny Tina Wonderlands, Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth.
Powerwash Simulator on Switch and One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 on Switch 2. Enjoying both.
Also started Trails of Cold Steel on Ps5.
@graymamba A lot of people disregard Pre-Sequel, but personally I found it hell of a lot more fun than 1 and 3 combined 🙂...Only drawback really is you'll get most everything done in about 14hrs 😐
It's buggy as all hell but the atmosphere and world of STALKER 2 is brilliant.
I finished Of Lies and Rain on i*Psvr2*. Overall really enjoyed the game. But without reading all the journal entries and many of the reports one would miss most of the story.
Then I started Pools on Psvr2. Not much of a game but great to walk (and slide) through these environments. I wish it had more levels!
And I am still playing Ghost of Tsushima ... for another couple of months at this rate.
Wrapping up the loose ends in Dark souls 3 and getting towards the end of Suikoden II. Need to figure out what I'll be playing next
Arc raiders and the obligatory rally games..maybe a bit of BF6 if I can pull myself away from arc raiders for an hour or so..Have a great weekend folks 👍
I am playing The Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden as I have been doing for about two weeks, and the game's pace is now down to a grinding halt because I keep getting sidetracked by big and small Haunting Cases which are grrat, but the amount of it is a little overwhelming. It also stifles the pace of the game, and I didn't want to spoil myself in learning how much you have to do and whether it actually changes anything.
I am still enjoying it, but a 8/10 is a fair grade, and were it paced differently I think it would have remained a 9/10 for me.
Something nice and quiet after having my ears blasted at My Bloody Valentine gig in Glasgow last thursday 🎸
Finally completed Ball X Pit and deciding whether to chase the platinum but so much in the backlog so cracking the whip with some Indiana Jones and the Great Circle with some Multiplayer rounds of Sonic Crossworlds thrown in 👍
After trying out Persona 5 Strikers, and not really vibing with it. I’ve decided to head back to AC:shadows to try and stick with it.
After about 30 hours the BallxPit platinum is mine. Top 5 games this year.
Working on the Cronos New Dawn platinum as well now.
Then it’ll be Arc Raiders with my mate, some more Where Winds Meet, and then I started Shinobi and am thoroughly enjoying it.
I’m having the itch to pay and play something new as well but have no idea what I’m in the mood for. Happy gaming all!
This weekend i'm taking a break from video games. Next week is december which means it's almost new year. So, i need to work with my inventory and stuff.
But i finished Splinter Cell: Blacklist and really enjoyed it. I give it an 8/10 despite a couple of issues. I think some fans are too harsh with this game.
I've also played Neon Inferno demo and i really like it. I don't think this game deserves a 6/10.
Have a great weekend everyone 🍻
Just ordered MGS 3 deluxe edition on sale and playing Dispatch
Hello, Night City!
That’s right, chooms, I’m back in the city. My name is V, and I’m a katana wielding, net-running street-kid specialist, and brain-dancing my way to solving issues my way.
Seriously, though, Cyberpunk 2077 is peak gaming. I spent over 100 hours in the PS5 version, and got the platinum. I don’t know what compelled me to return to this world, but I’ve heard nothing but positives about the Nintendo Switch 2 version so I decided to buy it and see for myself.
This isn’t hyperbole—it’s an absolute jaw dropping experience. I’ve been playing exclusively on handheld and feel more immersed than previously before. I’m truly blown away by how well it runs, the graphics, and silky smooth gameplay. From here on out this should be the gold standard for future ports to this system, and it’s a testament to how good the S2 can be if given proper treatment.
Hello again, y'all! This weekend I'm playing:
Switch:
Animal Crossing New Horizons: the road to affording the second house storage increase continues. I will also use the codes to get Nintendo's new holiday clothing custom designs.
Super Mario Maker 2: I uploaded another level yesterday, you can check out the details on that in the Mario Maker 2 level sharing thread (on Nintendo Life).
PS4:
Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online: bought it on the PS Store Black Friday Sale for $9.00 and played it for an hour yesterday. Think Hyrule Warriors but Neptunia and with way fewer monsters. This game will be my main focus this weekend, and probably until Christmas.
@Jrs1 with BallxPit I wound up using remote play and using the auto play character combined with every other character to complete levels toward the platinum. Allowed me to check the game every fifteen minutes like I was baking while actually spending the day doing other things. Then last night I played manually for the remaining character or two I had left.
Im playing Warhammer Space Marine 2 on my new gaming laptop. Try the demo on my deck and its look so ugly. Such an excellent game and pairing with my Dualsense controller, the haptic feedback is just wonderful. Game look so gorgeous and combat is fun
This week I've been playing Lunacid, a first person dungeon crawler. Apparently it's very similar to From Softwares early King's Field series, but I can't say since I haven't played those. Instead it reminds me more of From's Souls series.
The game just oozes dark fantasy atmosphere and has a great soundtrack. I was planning on playing it normally but discovered by chance that it has a VR mod with full motion controls. And this just made a great game 10 times better!
@Jrs1 I've heard tales of how loud MBV is live. A friend that has seen them multiple times since the 90s claims people might just leave their concerts deaf if not wearing ear plugs.
The excellent Deus Ex: Human Revolution and The Witcher 3 new game plus on death march.
@Elfuggingjefe hope you feel better soon.
Aside from the obligatory daily efforts to beat Gold stakes on Balatro I am hoping to finish off Alan Wake 2 either today or tomorrow. Got most of the collectables and misc trophies done so just need to power through. Have much preferred Sagas parts over Alans.
Then maybe start either Still Wakes the Deep or The Invincible for some story time.
Honestly, I really want to play something new, but I feel bad about buying anything new right now, given that Metroid is coming this week and I’m about to buy a Steamdeck and will be sinking some money into starting a Steam library very soon. I have to work today, but it’s snow storm weather, so I sort of want to just curl up and play some games. Realistically though, I think I’m just going to plan my early Steam library and play Arc Raiders… but I keep thinking about The Outer Worlds 2 at random too…
I should go back to Yotei and finish that though, shouldn’t I? Or Silent Hill F? Or Hades 2? For some reason, as good as those games are, man, I’m struggling getting back to them.
Few more rounds of clubber langs story mode in rocky legends and then back to hit and run. Ps2s killing it in my house 😃
Me and my +15 Claymore are almost ready to hit the DLC areas of Dark Souls 1. Might begin Spidey 2 as well since I’ll be going over to that after finishing DS1. Enjoy the weekend everyone.
After getting 100% trophies on Alan Wake 2 last night (fabulous game) I’ll be back on the grind for 5 stars on every facility on Death Stranding 2. Just a few trophies of getting my profile back to 100%. But before all that have children to entertain while trying to keep up with the football scores.. happy gaming everybody
Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. This is one game that’s lost points the more I’ve played it. Started as an 8.5/10 for. It’s now a 7/10.
The game itself remains great. But the level design is horrid! It enacts similar “fast travel” to The Witcher 3, wherein you have to get to a point where you can travel from. However, The Witcher 3 has so many signposts that you don’t really feel the pinch.
This is where Banishers fails spectacularly! The campfires are few and far between and makes for the most monotonous experience!
Imagine seeing a treasure, running to what is a 5-minute traipse across the map, while encountering enemies. The enemy encounters make up for the long journey because at least that breaks you from the trek.
Now, imagine that when you get to your destination, you have to run 5 minutes back to the fast travel point, but you’ve already killed the enemies, so it’s just a 5 minute run with nothing but footsteps to keep you engaged.
Anyway, this is one game I really like but would never play again!
@IronCrow86 I will keep that in mind mate 🍻
@Perturbator Yeah we were offered earplugs but i went bareback 😄
@ErrantRob Good idea bud i forgot about the auto character. I too used remote play with the tablet quite a lot for this game, couldn't leave the game was damn addictive 😄
@Jrs1 fantastic game. Can’t believe I stuck 30 hours into it. It was easily interfering with every other game I played.
I'm out of the country this weekend so no console/Satisfactory to play. I managed to get a start on my new storage/Mall before I left. Those struts carry eight conveyor belts per level and each belt delivers a different component or material from each of the various plants across the world map.
The storage goal will be to keep building skywards, then at some point connect the left side to a train network. For the time being I'm playing Rimworld on the Steam Deck, I almost lost my colony to a pack of wild cats. That white thing (Thrumbo) carried the fight on it's back then carried off the remains to be cooked. That's why I always prioritize animal training. That's about it, happy gaming weekend folks!
Got myself a black PS Portal last Sunday (so I can play in the comfort of my bedroom); so far the only game I've been playing on it is Ball x Pit. I wasn't actually expecting to like it as much as it turns out I do (given I could never fully get myself into Vampire Survivors).
Currently, my furthest area is Fungal Forest (just need one more cog to access the next area). I'm in no rush to beat it, taking my time getting character clears in the unlocked areas whilst gradually building and upgrading my base camp.
That said, I might consider starting something else on Portal soon so that Ball x Pit doesn't burn me out too quickly. Maybe Sword of the Sea from the Game Catalogue, or I might have a look at current PS Store sales later.
Have a great weekend y'all!
@Zuljaras Alright I have to ask what are we looking at? are those steelbooks? I haven't played Space Marine but I did play Inquisitor, Chaosbane and Mechanicus. Inquisitor plays a lot like Diablo but has a more bite sized game loop, still highly addictive and a lot of fun. I liked it more than Diablo 3. Chaosbane was incredibly copy pasted but classes were kind of fun. Mechanicus is an RTS, it starts off super difficult and balances out somewhere in the middle, if you can reach that point. It also has one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard. It's by Guillaume David, look-up the track 'Noosphere' you'll see what I mean. I'm really looking forward to Mechanicus 2, there's a serious lack of good RTS games on console. I'd love to see R.U.S.E. show up on Premium or even Tom Clancy's EndWar.
@ErrantRob Totally, i even enjoyed the harvesting bit which i didnt think i would.
I'm playing Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army. I'm about 10 hours in so a little bit less than half way through.
PS5 - Ninja Gaiden 4, Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O.: World Stage
Switch 2 - Yakuza Kiwami 2, Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, Neon Inferno
I picked up Returnal on sale, and wow, I slept on that one for years. 9/10 so far.
@GirlVersusGame Yes those are steelbooks
Castlevania Requiem (PS4)
Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2 Ultima Edition (PS5)
The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword (Switch)
I have Boltgun but like most of my games it is in the backlog
I’ll be switching between Black Ops 7 and Borderlands 4 as I still have a lot left to do in both. Hope everyone enjoys their time gaming this weekend!
After just under 90hours of olay I have PLATINUMED Ghost of Yotei! Definitely my GOTY.
I'm going back to Digimon Story Time Stranger as I'm 41hrs in but only at the Forrest area. But as I'm getting an extra day off before my Anniversary I'm going to get Octopath Traveler 0 on launch day.
Keep on keeping on gamers!
Metal Eden!!!!! This game got slept on big time. Doom-like but with cyberpunk theme/setting. Its really good. Visuals are abso fantastic Finished Outerworlds 2 last night.
Continue playing the metroidvania game called Constance. It's fun and has a good art style. Once I'm finished with that I may finally continue Expedition 33.
I jumped right back onto Resident Evil 3 Remake. Then practicing combos in Fatal Fury City of the Wolves.
Over 35 hours into Ghost of Yotei and finally crossed The Kitsune’s name off of the list, the first since The Snake. Loving my time with it. Happy gaming!
@Zuljaras That Castlevania steelbook is a thing of beauty
Playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 at the moment and it’s such a great game! Nicely challenging too and it looks graphically impressive!
Just about to finish Still Wakes The Deep. That was a lot of fun. Was thinking about getting the sequel Sirens Rest but saw that wasn't as good. Has anyone played it?
Started Indika. Very weird. Will give it another hour or 2 before I pass judgement.
Determined to complete a Griftlands run.
And will do some Moving Out 2 with my daughter after we get Santa photos done. In November 🤦♂️
@ECharles i just wished I didn't suck so hard at it. Will go back to this again when frustration has worn off!
I’ve almost finished my Zelda Wind Waker playthrough, input lag and extreme obtuseness aside it’s still a great game. So much character.
I’ve also been playing a bit of Vampire Survivors, just 60 trophies (out of an eye watering 244) to go.
The game that’s surprised me the most is Baby Steps which I got in the sale a week ago. From not being able to take more than three steps, to being able to run up stairs, it’s just so weird and funny. I want to explore everywhere now!
And hey, isn’t it weird they haven’t released the price of the GT7 DLC with less than a week to go!
Have a great weekend Folks!
@old_gamer74 I'm rubbish at it too but I actually don't mind losing over and over since the game loop is so fun. Hades was kind of like that for me too.
Arc raiders, Witcher 3🎉👹
I am in full catch-up mode with Honkers at the moment.
Borderlands 3 (Series X) Finished Guns Love and Tentacles DLC so I will be starting the next DLC this weekend.
Dragon Quest XI S (Switch) Loving this amazing game. Just fled the dungeon with a new allie and now I am making my way back to Cobblestone.
While I’ve had a chance to play other games, I’m very hooked on Ball x Pit right now, so that’s where all of my game time is being spent this weekend.
Some gt7 dailies, particularly the spa 5 lapper in gr4 ,gosh i absolutely love that circuit my fave circuit in the world probably followed by suzuka ,Really looking forward to spec 3 update next wk ,it'll be interesting to see what the power pack dlc price is ,so much to get through when all that content arrives and thats not including project motor sport which I'll get when a couple more patches have arrived but I hear its already much better than release day,and then there's rennsport I'll try at some stage next year I think
Probably not much gaming this weekend but if I do then I´ll continue playing Tales of Arise.
Since I picked up few of my favorite movies on blu-ray discs, I´ll be watching and enjoying them along with some PL, NHL, F1 and also some online chess.
Have a nice weekend and happy gaming, everyone!
Been working one death stranding directors cut. But I ordered a new tv a few days ago, probably going to break on games until it comes in
Equalicious (Windows Phone) - Still playing in bursts.
Angry Birds Seasons (Windows Phone) - Now going back to do the Christmas levels.
Angry Birds Space (Windows Phone) - Because you can never truly play too much Angry Birds...Am I RIGHT?!?
Even though I've been gaming since the late 70s I've never played a Final Fantasy game due to the turn based combat but decided to give FF VII Rebirth a try since it's real time combat. I'm only about 6 hours in but it's pretty amazing so far. Outside of that I've been trying to get my Where Winds Meet character leveled up to where I was previously after playing the beta a ton several months ago. It's still incredible on technically my 2nd partial playthrough. I still can't believe this is a free title. Might sneak in a little Arc Raiders between. Happy gaming everyone.
@old_gamer74 I have not finished Siren's Rest yet but have played it. It's decent, but compared to the main game it's somewhat of a letdown. To be honest, I really don't think it's worth it unless you pick it up on sale.
@Steeleye25 cheers mate. Good to know. Will wait for sale and decide then 👍
Some Ghost of Tsushima and maybe Link's Awakening DX. Its one of my favorite games, and I dislike the remake, so it should be a comfy time. Maybe some Streets of Rage Remake and Tomb Raider?
FF7: Rebirth. Just finished Red's chapter, and it was great. About to go into Aerith's one, I think. Love this game
AC: Shadows is next on the spindle though, thanks to the weekend sales
@IronCrow86 Borderlands The Pre Sequel is my second favorite game in that series I really enjoy the boss battles in that game. Athena probably was my favorite character in Borderlands
Fantasy life I again for me, some Samurai warriors 4 and seem to be near the end of assassins creed shadows I think.
Had to bail on Jedi Survivor. Worst map ever. Bad enough that it's ridiculously difficult, but the map makes the game nearly unplayable. Whoever designed that map should be jailed for crimes against videogaming.
