@Luigia I would have said that same thing before E3... But after E3, Microsoft clearly doesn't care about that. Starfield would have been a big money maker, but they are making it exclusive along with the new Redfall game. If they are will to keep these two games exclusives... Then we can kiss future DOOM games good bye unless the developer push heavily for future release, or the sales are bad on Xbox or PC.
Wow... That was bad. With the ability to stream any thing. Companies don't have to try any more. It barely cost them anything to host a digital livestream, so everyone any one and their mom can host a E3. Before they actually had to fight and grab a slot in a Microsoft, Nintendo, or Sony conference.
@clvr Superheroes have been every where since the 90s. It didn't now just started cropping up out of the blue in the last 10 years... If you only just now starting noticing it that really on you.
@vict0RGM Yeah... After yesterday, I finally realize how depressing E3 is without Sony especially since I only have a PS5 right now. The Xbox conference was great, and the Nintendo Direct tomorrow will be amazing. But I missing see Sony up on stage showing off what they have planned even if it just CGI and in engine demos.
@Jaz007 Sure on Ubisoft side, but Monster didn't want people associating their brand with the game. Ubisoft probably doesn't want their game associate with what happened in 2020. Like I said, the general population is stupid. You may find it insulting cause you're smart enough, but in the long run... It would have been better for Ubisoft to dodge that bullet entirely.
@Jaz007 You wouldn't think that, but the general population is stupid. Remember that Ubisoft had to change Gods and Monster to Immortals Fenyx Rising due to opposition from Monster Energy... It not hard to believe that they would change the name cause of people think it related to the quarantine.
@TheFrenchiestFry Mario+Rabbids was the only switch exclusive game they showed. But it wasn't the only switch game. Just Dance 2022 is also coming to the switch.
@Omnistalgic The funny part is that we wouldn't have to take till the iPhone 14-15 for that level of performance. The current generation of phones are already offer that performance.
@GADG3Tx87 Both Halo and Gears of War have won and been nominated for game of year from several publication. So I don't know where you're getting that information...
@Subsided Like I said, beside the normal Windows Store related issues. I never heard/had any real problems with quality of these game performance. Did they have performance issues, yes, but every PC game have performance issues. They were definitely not "unoptimized and glitch filled messes". They released in better shape than 70% of releaes on PC.
@badbob001 Yes. Most of their game on PC if bought through the Windows store have been giving a away free xbox copy, or vice versa if you buy a Xbox copy. You get a the Window 10 copy for free.
EDIT: It part of their "Play anyway" program. So 3rd party games are apart of it as well like Yakuza: Like a Dragon
@Subsided " Xbox PC games tend to be unoptimized and glitch filled messes"
Besides the general issues with the Microsoft store. What Xbox games on PC been an "unoptimized and glitch filled messes"? Unless you're playing on a potato. Most of their releases have been extremely top notch especially for games that been hardcode for console hardware.
@Play Because Microsoft and Nintendo have a good partnership. Banjo in smash, cuphead, ori and the blind forest... Allowing Minecraft crossplay. Nintendo has never once actually bit back at Xbox. Microsoft knows when the time comes Nintendo will roll over for them.
@pukana "COD was primarily a singleplayer only game & has now evolved into a massive multiplayer game as well"
I don't know where you getting this from, but CoD have never been a primarily single player game... Maybe on consoles due to the lack of proper online till the 360/PS3. CoD have always been a heavy multiplayer game. They just always done a good at offering a decent campaign, but it was never the main focus.
@3Above The single player have never been a staple of the franchise. Battlefield 3 was really the first game in the main franchise to introduce an actual single player. Battlefield 4 continued that trend created by 3, but Battlefield 1 and 5... Diverted hard from what they offered in 3 and 4, and gave us bit size story missions which were terrible. They have basically been trying to wean us off of single player for the last two game, and get us back to play the main purpose of the game.
@General_Spiller The trailer was taking aspect from online matches that you normal see players do like 'jumping out of a fighter jet and blowing up the other fighter jet with the rocket'. So knowing gamers... Some one was probably too lazy to walk up the flight of stairs, so they rode the quad bike up which ends up being harder to do then just walking up the stairs.
@Envy I don't think they would be able to just sell the splinter cell franchise. That would almost mean having to split the right to the Tom Clancy name as well.
@Royalblues Didn't the creator of Gravity Rush leave Sony | Playstation back in September. Along with the character designer, animator, art director? That franchise is as good as buried at this point...
@ThaBEN You bring up Marcus Phoenix... But didn't people ***** all over the way the character looked in gears to the point. That they basically changed them for Gears 4
@playstation1995 I'm guessing they haven't purchased them cause it take money, and Sony so far have been only spending money on stuff that benefit Sony as a whole, and just not playstation.
@naruball You're acting like I'm asking them to move mountains. They could've have added a dynamic resolution (something UE4 supports) to the PS4 Pro with the upper bounds being higher than 1080P/60FPS.
They could have easily done this if they had enough and man power to add native 4k to Series X. They would have had enough time to go back and rethink some things to give PS5 players better experience without completely creating a native version.
@Omnistalgic For deals like like Deathloop or Ghostwire Tokyo since Sony was involved. Yes they're under contract. But for titles like this and Minecraft Dungeons. There is no contact in places saying they still had to release on Playstation.
As for Starfield, there wasn't any actual official announcement of platforms. This game is also years off. There have also had no official announcement from Xbox or Betheda that the game was canceled for PS5.
@naruball And that fine for them... But you don't see those people in comments sections push that 8/16 bit are reasonable.
1080/60FPS is not reasonable for a $500 console in 2021. The only time 1080P/60FPS would reasonable is if it had Ray Tracing; was push technology never seen on any platform that could even bring a RTX 3080 to it knees; or was on sub $300 box like the Series S.
@DomGC Well... It isn't 2015 any more. We're heading into 2022 at this point. The only people who are still finding 1080P/60FPS reasonable are people who've only been playing on 8 year old hardware that was struggling to due 1080P/30FPS when it came out. In no reasonable way is 1080/60FPS reasonable. At least 1440P/60FPS is the bottom standard of what is reasonable now.
@Culjoseth By the time Minecraft Dungeon released. MS had no reason to uphold releasing Minecraft on any platform other than Xbox and PC. We are at the point that they aren't even technically obligated to release Minecraft on PS5 even it eventually get a next gen port. Also Double Fine aren't technically obligated to still release on PS4. They still releasing it out of good will and cause MS. It not like Psychonaunt 2 would have been the first crowd-funding game to cancel a port to a promised platform.
@Ward_ting This game was announced for PS4 before Microsoft bought double fine. Microsoft may be a massive company and may make some questionable decisions. But they aren't just straight dicks. They've allowed every developer they bought to continue making game for just about every platform.
Everyone over here complaining about why they haven't release GTA6 yet... I just like, if they want to top RDR2. It only gonna take them another 5 years.
@GZoo Yeah... Nah. I wouldn't want that unless developers know that they can hit 60FPS consistently with absolutely NO DROPS ( aka not even 1-2 drop frames ) and perfect frame pacing.
If not, then continue to leave 60FPS as a secondary performance option.
@2cents EA didn't even plan on originally doing remakes/remasters of any of their games if I remember correctly... This was probably something they decided to do out boredom, and fact we wouldn't shut up about wanting one. So I doubt EA put much energy into it if any.
@2cents Demon's Souls is also only one game being rebuilt for one system... Not 3 games being rebuilt for 7 consoles, and a billions of different PC configurations.
@ViolentEntity idk... Maybe for the ease of use and the simplicity that only a console can offer, or for the feature like the Dualsense or HDR which is mostly broken on windows/PC.
@playstation1995 Now are we just talking about their console only games, or we talking about the worst game out every game they've ever made... Cause their mobile games suck even for mobile games.
@InsertUsername I never said that it'll happen this year or next year or even the year after that. MLB doesn't care about their relationship with Sony. If they did, they wouldn't have went and sign an agreement with Microsoft to put it on gamepass. It all about who have the bigger wallet.
@nessisonett With this purchase... EA will now have a studio familiar with baseball, and could probably start looking at taking the right for MLB The Show from Sony.

@Voltan Have they said that it was shooters... Or are we just basing this off their past game history?

This was only E3. We still have the rest the of summer and GamesCom.
