We still have the odd nightmare here and there about Fast & Furious Crossroads, so forgive us when we wince a little upon seeing the big-budget movie branding associated with a PlayStation game once more. Confirmed for both PS5 and PS4, Fast & Furious Spy Racers: Rise of SH1FT3R will release this November. It's most definitely not based on the bombastic universe of Dominic Toretto, however. Rise of SH1FT3R is all about the Netflix spin-off show that has quietly amassed four seasons on the streaming service, with the game seemingly focused purely on pedal to the metal racing.
Funnily enough, the title comes from recently announced My Friend Peppa Pig developer Outright Games. The official website confirms local co-op functionality as well as online play for up to five players. You'll be able to customise cars with up to 15 different spy gadgets, and compete in a racing tournament spanning the entire globe. "Prove you’re the best by racing across unique tracks with your gadgets and speeding through secret shortcuts. Personalize your car with unique skins and unlock new items within the game."
To be fair, this iteration sounds a lot better than Fast & Furious Crossroads. Designed for kids, but this could be a fun time — especially if you bring over friends for couch co-op fun. Are you interested? Let us know in the comments below.

I thought it be interesting when I saw the art style for the characters in the thumbnail. But this still looks and probably will play like garbage lol, why do they bother!!
Didn't even know there was a Netflix show haha Do kids even like Fast and Furious?
There's a Netflix show?
@Voltan @Icey664 Yep! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fast_%26_Furious_Spy_Racers
At this point Fast & Furious is trying to compete with Hot Wheels. XD
The only Fast & Furious game that should have ever existed is Need for Speed Underground.
This doesn’t look great. I hope this new hot wheels game has co op as I’d love to play with my son
I bought Crossroads because I enjoy a crappy game every now and again. But damn, that game is borderline unplayable. How do you make a racing game where the cars move like one legged cat on a pogo stick?
Literally all they'd need to do to make an accurate (and fun) F&F game is hire the team that made Split/Second and slap some F&F branding on it. It played like a F&F movie already.
What the... omg please. Stop this it hurts too much
Joining the chorus of "There's a Netflix show?" I haven't' had NF for a year or so, but I am a fan of the movie series, own the blu-ray set, watched movie 6 last night, watching 3 next week b/c that's how they roll. 🤷♂️
Won't be playing this, the other game, or watching the NF show.
Fast & furious tokyo drift on the PS2 was good apart from that one they've all been terrible
The cars now shoot paint balls ? I expect that to be canon in those movies also. Great.
Whatever about the game...ugh netflix show ? 4 seasons I never even knew a TV show existed 🤯
I watched Tokyo Drift again recently, omg it was trash. The plot is just nonsense. I guess it's for car enthusiasts and ogling eyes, really.
Oh and the game looks janky so far, but I guess I'll wait and see, anyway.
I saw the trailer for the series. I know its for kids but yeeesh it looks bad
i recently just got need for speed heat so thank god for that. and wheres midnight club when you need it.
@MFTWrecks But damn that online mode was broken. 🤪
I'm interested but need to watch the Netflix cartoon first, which requires my OCD to binge watch the movies.
