We still have the odd nightmare here and there about Fast & Furious Crossroads, so forgive us when we wince a little upon seeing the big-budget movie branding associated with a PlayStation game once more. Confirmed for both PS5 and PS4, Fast & Furious Spy Racers: Rise of SH1FT3R will release this November. It's most definitely not based on the bombastic universe of Dominic Toretto, however. Rise of SH1FT3R is all about the Netflix spin-off show that has quietly amassed four seasons on the streaming service, with the game seemingly focused purely on pedal to the metal racing.

Funnily enough, the title comes from recently announced My Friend Peppa Pig developer Outright Games. The official website confirms local co-op functionality as well as online play for up to five players. You'll be able to customise cars with up to 15 different spy gadgets, and compete in a racing tournament spanning the entire globe. "Prove you’re the best by racing across unique tracks with your gadgets and speeding through secret shortcuts. Personalize your car with unique skins and unlock new items within the game."

To be fair, this iteration sounds a lot better than Fast & Furious Crossroads. Designed for kids, but this could be a fun time — especially if you bring over friends for couch co-op fun. Are you interested? Let us know in the comments below.
