@Deljo You’re not wrong about any of that, but I guess I’ve learned to ignore it. PS2 is still my favorite game library of all time, and if I could only play a single console for the rest of my life, PS2 it is! But now it just feels like there’s so much more variety, even if it is less creative as a whole.
@Th3solution Six years ago, I was just going to stick with PS1/2/3 JRPGs and fighting games, but there’s too much fun stuff out there to resist. I’ve come to enjoy and appreciate nearly every genre (except for MMOs and MOBAs).
I was dubious about Wolverine... until this trailer. Now I'm all in. Also excited for Saros, Deus Ex Remastered, Nioh 3, Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, Crimson Desert, and Code Vein 2!
Don’t mind re-buying all these because I got them for dirt cheap originally. I love the series and they’re all easily 50-100 hours each, so it’s definitely worth it IMO.
Wouldn’t mind playing Kiwami again. I loved Zero so much and went straight into Kiwami which I think led to burnout. Kiwami 2 being enhanced is sorely needed, as well!
@sanderson72 PS5 Pro wasn’t as much about raw power as it was more subtle hardware and software architecture advancements. More and faster RAM (with dedicated RAM for the operating system), more storage, a textured APU chip to further combat liquid metal dry spots and leaks, Pro Boost for games lacking specific Pro Enhancements, 4K upscaling/sharpness filtering for PS4 games, and PSSR.
I paid $185 for my Pro after trades and incentives and it has been more than worth it. Any game that uses dynamic resolution scaling or unlocked framerates will see native improvements. Check out ResetEra’s gigantic list of games that perform best on Pro!
But I guess an article highlighting all the games that do benefit from the Pro wouldn’t get as much engagement as one complaining about it.
Leave it to a positive article to trigger the miserable! Anyway, this game was on my watchlist as soon as it was announced because I loved Journey and Abzu. I have The Pathless also, might be time to dig it out. Love these artsy-yet-sentimental games!
Always found it odd that Xbox tried to make a tentpole game out of this series as it's very far from their usual style. I love cinematic games, good walking sims, and the first Hellblade so I'll pick this up at some point. After playing that first game again with its PS5 update!

@LogicStrikesAgain People here have already told me that Saros, Wolverine, and Ghost of Yotei don’t count as new games or first-party 🫥

@pyrrhic_victory I ask that same question of anyone who thinks streaming is the future. They tried it, it didn’t work.

Re: Round Up: What Was Announced in Sony's State of Play Livestream for September 2025?
@LogicStrikesAgain I feel like I don’t fit in here because I like Sony and enjoying playing games instead of whining about them. 🤣
Re: Poll: How Would You Rate State of Play for September 2025?
I don't there's been a single SOP/Showcase where there's less than 4 or so games I'm into, and this show was no exception.

I put over 110 hours into Yakuza and would definitely do another 100+ in this version. Hopefully they fixed the save glitch from the PS4 version, too.
