Can’t help but remember all the flack Sony took for the “IndieStation 4” and how that’s completely turned around now!

I’m not too fussed about guest characters or costumes, but that does suck for those who purchased those already.

@Rich33 I wonder, does Forza use its own engine or is it UE5? Either that or Playground Games are wizards.

It’s pretty much damned if they do, damned if they don’t. Raising console prices would cause a huge stink here, but apparently so does the idea of increasing anything at all.

Review bombing, no doubt. That’s the main reason MetaScores don’t mean anything.

I’m fine playing visual novels on Switch. Harvestella needs to be on PS5, though!!

Some of the things I've seen in clips are very confusing and annoying, like NPCs never moving, objects not reacting to being touched or moved by your character, and quest dialogue being 90% sarcasm.

@RoomWithaMoose Except your line of thinking is contrary to that of many in this comment section. To them, hardware and software tech has already peaked, so there won’t be this big wave of “next gen” beauty to look forward to. Technological advancements aren’t real to them, so why would they feel bad about missing out on something they don’t even believe is real?

@Kiltedhaggis A lot of people here seem to have the mindset of “I don’t want it, therefore it shouldn’t exist!” There’s nothing stopping anyone from sticking with PS5 or earlier, but they have parasocial relationships with a gaming company and feel victimized by decisions that don’t benefit themselves specifically. I guess it makes a bit more sense considering those who shell out $500+ for a console and restrict themselves to only a single studio’s titles….

It’s all very weird.

This whole thing feels like the “Why do we need automobiles when horse-drawn carriages work fine?” kind of argument.

@MrRhysReviews Ah, interesting! I was really confused why Layers of Fear 2 wasn't on my wishlist and I had pretty much never heard of it, but now I know.

@KawakiisaFraud Pretty much! Certain segments of video game fandom seem desperate for anything to self-flagellate to.

Completely skipped my mind there was even a Layers of Fear 2! I'm currently playing through the re-release of the first one.

It seems to be only anime sexuality that gets censored, so we might be in the clear. Immortality, TLOU 2, GTA V, Cyberpunk, and plenty of other games have nudity.

Very rare but heartwarming to see so much positivity and enthusiasm on what I've often written off as a complaint-box for depressed doomers!

This reminds me of when people on Pure Xbox were calling for PJ O’Reilly to be fired because he gave Indiana Jones a 6 and STALKER 2 a 4. “Xbox exclusives need higher scores!!”

Just play on a PS3 like I do and forget about streaming. The awful input lag makes playing difficult even when the streaming works.

The hour and a half I spent in Starfield on my Series X was… fine. Definitely not the generation-defining experience it was hyped to be and didn’t make me throw my PS5 out a window in anguish like people on PureXbox said. I’ll try it on PS5 if there’s a physical

Oooooooookay then… I love Double Fine, but multiplayer/team/co-op is an instant no.

Not sure what to think of this game. Seems to be majorly hyped by people who despise JRPGs/anime. Nonetheless, I’d like to try it at some point.

No multiplayer? Awesome, this is now a day-1 buy!
