$9.99 vs. $40+ is pretty convincing, but if there aren't any major improvements then I'm not sure. Probably still fine to boot up on my trusty PS3.

I always try to play Asian games in their native language. Good English dubs seem exceedingly rare...

@DETfaninATL Full price? Majority of PS3 games there are under $30, not to mention PS1 games are $5.99 and PS2 are $9.99.

Always found it odd that Xbox tried to make a tentpole game out of this series as it's very far from their usual style. I love cinematic games, good walking sims, and the first Hellblade so I'll pick this up at some point. After playing that first game again with its PS5 update!

Perhaps this just means they'll be focusing much more on software.

@Porco I'm loving this generation, but I don't limit myself to just a single company's games.

I always like to at least try critically panned games for myself. Best Buy had Starfield and Redfall on clearance for $25 and $10, respectively, so I jumped and got both. Redfall is, unfortunately, as bad as everyone was saying (if not worse in some areas...), but I'll be trying Starfield next to see if I'll like it. Then I'll trade the Xbox version for the PS5 release!

Suikoden 3 and 4 are already on the PS3 store for far cheaper than any remaster would cost. Same reason why I'm not getting the SMT Devil Summoner games because the originals are $10 each.

"While Sony rarely comments on rumours or speculation, PS Studios boss Hermen Hulst did say in a recent video for investors that his company needs to be “very thoughtful” about where it ports its first-party games so it doesn’t water down the appeal of its own hardware."

@Dodoo I thought they did clarify it somewhat recently. There was an interview clip posted on this site where someone said they'll be working on more multi-platform projects and bringing live-service titles to other consoles while keeping their core single player games exclusive.

@MidnightDragonDX I have a feeling about this game, same one I had about Forspoken, Duke Nukem Forever, and various other critically panned titles. I don't trust reviewers at all!

@AdamNovice Noticed that, too! Looked through the "Explore PlayStation Studios" section on the PS Store and saw a ton of small, artsy games from the PS4 era that no one liked.

So I've got the original Persona 4 on PS2, Golden on Vita and PS4, and now a re-remake is coming out?

@Northern_munkey I'm talking specifically about how they're spinning the multiplatform push and push for branded hardware. The gloom and doom PlayStation "fans" who apparently refuse to play anything that isn't developed by Sony and act like the company is failing drive me up a wall, too!

Company C working with Companies A and B who have significantly larger customer bases makes sense. The inverse, not so much. It's crazy how many Xbox fans refuse to admit the company's position and try to spin all of this as innovation.
