I've learned that if people here moan about something, I'll usually like it. So while it is annoying to see the same group of people posting the same things every announcement just to make themselves upset, it also acts as a reliable guide!

It's interesting to see that crowd simultaneously champion the multi-platform strategy and complain about things like this.

IIRC, the patch that came out last week was specifically to fix issues with the Microsoft Store release. There is another patch for all platforms in the works.

Seems to be a particularly strong hate-boner for Days Gone. A little bit of research and one can see what all the improvements and changes are. 😇

Picked the gold edition up at the end of the last sale without realizing it was online required. Oh well, still seems fun.

Colors look majorly desaturated and the character models look weird(er than the original). Not to mention this and the second game are $9.99 each on PS3.

@Nexozi Seriously! Playing an expansive, environmental game like this on a small screen with tinny speakers kind of defeats the purpose...

Missing the cyberpunk dystopian atmosphere of Mirror's Edge which is crucial.

I put a few hours into the original on Series X but dropped it the second this release was confirmed. I try not to buy anything on day one or for full price, but couldn't resist this time.

What a world when 8 is considered a bad score. 🤣

Anyway, I got this for free with a Series X bundle from GameStop so double-dipping won't hurt. The cringy dialogue does hurt, though.

New levelling system and new voice work make this a day 1 buy. Plus it's Pro Enhanced!

Contrary to the snark, it looks like there was a good deal of work put into Days Gone Remaster. Completely re-done lighting, shadows, and weather, pop-in eliminated, and improved texture quality.

Never really excited about this one. If it's not fantasy, over-the-top action, or swarming with magic robots, it's a hard sell for me. Plus the idea of platforming in first-person makes me clench up (thank you, Turok!).

Got an email notification from Deku Deals that it hit its lowest price ever for the Xbox preorder. "Wait, Xbox?!" That's when I saw it was announced for PS5 as well. I really enjoyed the demo and am I glad I waited for it to multiply!

Project Justice by itself makes this compilation worth it.

Such an interesting dichotomy here. For years, Switch mains have postured about not caring about graphics or performance, but then outrages like this happen. Happened whenever any review mentioned technical issues with Switch 1: "My 2015 tablet isn't the problem, it's lazy devs!!"

I'll just wait a few years until the base game and all DLC is available as an Ultimate Edition for $5-10.

@MrPeanutbutterz I see what you mean, but wouldn't it be fun to clobber those ridiculous guest characters? At least that's how I'm looking at it.

The price alone is a great reason to buy; the PS1 versions are $150-200 each! Japanese voices are another good reason. English dubs more often than not cause me physical pain.
