@Oram77 People make no sense. I try to focus on what's actually announced at these shows, but I can't imagine sitting through 2 hours of SGF for what was shown.

Excited for the new RE, Code Vein II, Atomic Heart II, Stranger Than Heaven, ILL, new Onimusha, and End of Abyss. Blighted and Snap & Grab are in the maybe pile.

Where were all the Summer Game Fest exclusive games?! I didn't spend $500+ on the SummerGameStation just to play.... ugh.... multi-platform games!!!

I still don't understand the utter obsession with first-party games. I chose PlayStation because the vast majority of what I want to play is there; Sony exclusives are nice bonuses.

@HonestHick Maybe buying a console only for games developed and published by one company wasn't a good idea.

Probably one of my favorite SOPs ever. Hyped about nearly every announcement.

Also want to point out that Cairn, Sword of the Sea, and the new Marvel fighting game are console exclusive.

Were the people behind Journey also involved in Abzu? Love both of those games and am definitely down for more beautiful artsy stuff.

@LogicStrikesAgain I agree, I'm loving this generation and PS5 in general. Guess that makes me in the minority here which is very sad.

Always a good time to get into PlayStation. Too many issues for me to get into PC (exploding CPUs, melting GPU power cables, widespread gouging and pending tariffs), plus re-buying my library would liquidate all the "savings" I've heard so much about. Not to mention my drastically increased electric bill.

Consoles forever, PC never!

The hype before this released was unreal. "Generation-defining experience," "Ponies will throw their PS5s out a window in anger," etc.

@Fishnpeas That list includes stuff that only released in Japan, games where Sony was only the publisher in certain territories, and things from third-party devs like Namco, Capcom, Quantic Dream, Gearbox, and Mojang...

@Fishnpeas How many of those PS1/2/3/4 games were actually developed and published by Sony? Using PushSquare Complainers' overly specific and restrictive stance on "first-party," I'm sure plenty of those numbers would fall.

Hasn't Phil himself cried about third-party exclusivity deals? Yet here we are.

Why bother if all the self-loathing malcontents moonlighting as PlayStation/Sony fans will just whinge about everything regardless?

My main complaints about Oblivion were that 1) everyone looked like potatoes, and 2) everyone sounded the same/too few voice actors. This remake/remaster/rewhatever fixed both of those and left all of the ridiculousness in!

Looks like we'll have to find something else to moan about!

One would think that Xbox going multiplatform would greatly reduce the astro-turfing here, but it seems like exactly the opposite is happening. 😂

Set in a museum with human trafficking as an overarching theme. Sounds unique and worthy of a cautious wishlist add.

Love walking simulators and really enjoyed the first game. Glad this is getting the DualSense and PS5 Pro treatment!
