State of Play Poll Results 1

It is fair to say Push Square attracts a hardcore PlayStation audience, where single player titles are kind and any sort of online multiplayer effort is scoffed at. Many livestreams have come and gone, where the overwhelming feeling from our readers is one of disappointment.

For once, however, that's not the case. The results from our overnight State of Play Poll suggest the latest State of Play showcase has gone down a storm, with most users voting a positive response. That'll be thanks to more than an hour of PlayStation programming that included the God of War Trilogy Remake, God of War: Sons of Sparta, Kena: Scars of Kosmora, and much more.

Following more than 3,100 votes, an impressive 82% of readers thought the showcase was at least good. When asked for a rating, 36% of users said the State of Play was "excellent", 32% returned a "very good" vote, and finally, 14% said it was "good".

Yesterday's livestream is also the most-viewed State of Play livestream ever, and it's not even been live for 24 hours yet. On YouTube, the most viewed State of Play is from June 2025, when Sony announced Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls. In the eight months since then, it's levelled out at three million views. Last night's showcase has just matched that total and will break it within hours.

It's fair to say that the latest State of Play showcase has gone down a treat, particularly with the hardcore PlayStation audience. For a full round up of What Was Announced in Sony's State of Play Livestream for February 2026, click the link.
