I have 90 minutes in Starfield on Xbox and it’s… fine. Falls quite short of the “generation-defining experience” it was hyped to be and definitely didn’t make me throw my PS5 out a window in grief like people on PureXbox said, but I’ve enjoyed it so far. I like how the ship’s AI says my character’s name.

Then again, I apparently have low standards.

The horror! Video game “fans” really will complain about anything these days.

I upgraded for $1.99 without a hitch. No issues with Kiwami 2 or Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut either!

I constantly see this on lists of the best RPGs ever. I’m more of a JRPG guy and have almost no experience with westerns, but still get tempted every so often.

Maybe they’ll announce a green DualSense controller with special functions for Microsoft games on PS5!

Lots of hype behind this game. Might check it out at some point, but not in a rush.

The emulated PS2 version on PS5 is already 4K/60, so this worsened remaster was doomed from the start

@TechaNinja On PS5, there was a chance the game would hard-lock while saving. Seemed to happen more often when playing from an external drive, too. Happened less when the game was moved to internal storage, but even then it would sometimes take 5+ minutes to actually save and get back to gameplay.

Love Grasshopper, hate online/multiplayer/co-op, sounds like a win so far.

Loved MindsEye but haven’t tried any of this Arcadia stuff yet. I’ll come back to it if there’s story DLC or a performance mode patch.

I was curious to see how long it would take for someone to paint this as a negative, and it was four comments!

I won't miss the save glitch on PS5, hopefully Director's Cut fixed that.

$17 for 250-300 hours of upgraded games sounds like a good deal to me. Especially the uncapped Kiwami 2!

I've never loved a console so much! So many games available that I'm interested in from all levels of developers, it's pretty much a smorgasbord.

@carlos82 Can't see why anyone would want to pay those new prices. The used market is still decent, especially for Series X.

Adore the franchise, but don’t watch TV. Maybe this could lead to proper new versions of the old games?

@Oram77 I came across that on the PS Store last night and wishlisted it as soon as I saw Atari and Apogee.

I feel like Oblivion Remastered was a very poorly kept secret. The actual release was kind of surprising, but I think most expected that it was in the works.

Of course that didn't stop me from buying it day one, so maybe it actually did work...!

@Rich33 There's definitely a big PCMR contingent here. PX is much more tolerable these days, IMO. In the build-up to Starfield releasing, it was an incredibly hostile and paranoid place. The multiplatform strategy really mellowed people out.
