@wiiware if you're looking forward to a story heavy game, you avoid spoilers. It's all very "fingers in my ears alala I can't hear you lalala" from Sony and ND.
What was the reason for the ex dev leaking it? Were they treated badly in terms of crunch and this was a revenge leak or something? Either way, going online at all is going to make a lot of people very nervous from now on. Fingers crossed it's all swept up soon.
It's extremely optimistic. Not gonna happen. It also has no business taking place in London, it's too arrogant and elitist to hold it there. Bring it back to the middle of the country.
@Netret0120 this. I own UC4 but it's a great month because the online will be healthier now. It's just a shame Naughty Dog are the worst devs for post launch online support. IF their servers hold up it's always a great game to jump into
Part of me thinks it's a PR hoax and it's actually real, just shot using an ooooold camera to explain the grainy jumpy resolution. There's no way it's not real.
Sonic Forces is a decent game, even more so for free. Never played SotC, it's been saved in my wishlist on the ps store just waiting for a discount/sale so fingers crossed this is true!
@Unffclcntrllerpd yeah I know what you mean, new things are cool and everything, but it's strayed so far from the original vision which was almost perfect at first for me. Not as many stretches of quiet moments in-game anymore. The new procedural music tracks in the game are far inferior to the original soundscapes done by 65 Days of Static (though thankfully they are also still present).
Seems pretty standard fare for a AAA now. RDR2, Battlefront 2, GTA V, more and more games are approaching the 100GB mark. PS5 needs to be a 2TB minimum.
To be fair, reviews have no bearing on a releases success (or lack of). I will applaud the Verge's approach to not giving a number to a review, though. If you have to slap an arbitrary number on a review then you need to be better with your review content. I still think this will be just silly fun.
This is definitely Nier related. My personal hope is for some kind of prequel set during the first machine war (and that it's exclusively for next-gen).
Firewatch at £2.99 is almost disgusting. One of the best experiences this generation. An extra 40p for the bundle which gives you a top dynamic theme (changes depending on the time of day).
I know there is the increasing feeling that SOny don't "need" E3 as much anymore, but even so - if they saved big console reveals and launch title footage for E3 they would Wipe. The. Floor. I think E3 would be a good way to go.
As long as they find a way to allow the system not to overheating and get all up in yo' face with the cooling fans. Something Sony failed with miserably this generation across 3 different models.
It's a great list, nice to see this type of feature. It would be nice to see the reviewers make an attempt to even mention the soundtrack in the reviews a little more often (only Luna got a decent write up in this list. Gris, DS, Golem all got a sentence.). It's something severely lacking when the soundtrack (and, even more criminally, sound design) can and often is so important to the core experience.
But thanks to features like this, maybe it's on the up!
I'm not sure it proves anything, I watched it a couple of times just to get my head around what they were announcing. If they sell a few million then fair play. Still an incredibly bizarre move this late in the game!

It's a good thing. If you took away the building side of Fortnite I'd probable enjoy it better

If there's no weird jump-scares that don't belong in the game (naming no names cough cough) then I'm all over this!
Re: No Man's Sky Gets Living Ships in Latest Major Update on PS4
The game at launch was enough for me, but I have to applaud Hello Games for putting 99% of other devs to shame for post-launch support.

£399 is fair game. Anything lower than that is a bonus.

Biggest FPS of all time and I had genuinely never heard of it until late last year.

Re: Poll: What PS5 Box Design Should Sony Adopt?

@Flaming_Kaiser neither can I. I hope it improves in the PS5 era too.

Re: PS5's Most 'Unique Elements' and 'Biggest Changes' Have Yet to Be Announced, Says Sony
@dbunny if the PS Home servers were still going it would still be incredibly busy, day in day out. One of the big gaming tragedies of the last decade.

@Flaming_Kaiser I'm sure whoever called it a failure would agree with you. It's incredibly niche. I love my psvr.

Less than 5% is still incredibly niche. I hope the psvr2 gets pushed/invested in a lot.
