Pretty naughty from Sony, that. I went to check it out as a pre order upgrade and the only option was the full price game. It was such an obvious, cynical move to not be transparent about it.

Great choice, she was FANTASTIC in No One Will Save You. I hope her team have her well protected from the idiotic goblins who are "concerned" about her looks in relation to a made up character. She'll be fab.

Great read, shame it's not up to scratch, but as a massive fan of the original when I was a kid ("it's like looking at real people! How can games look any better than this!") I'm still gonna check it out. I would argue that no matter how bad it is, it can't touch the reputation of the first, just like Fade to Black didn't. Kudos for mentioning the great music, too. Music and sound design is such an important part of any game experience and bizarrely ignored by 95% of reviewers.

Lego might be fun for a week but I've had Sable on my wishlist since it came out so this is a pretty good month

This bodes well for the headset that will be coming out soon. Sadly the 3d Pulse couldn't hold a candle to the excellent Platinum Wireless headset, hopefully this next one will be similar to the new buds!

The sheer scale of the previous gen's victory has undoubtedly hampered this gen. I love my PS5 but there have hardly been many great next gen experiences. Most of the titles mentioned can be played on a ps4. The likes of Astro, Spider-Man 2 and Alan Wake 2 are few and far between.

Having said that, the ps5's power allowing us to play ps4 games as the devs intended (60fps 4k) has been the defining feature so far. The likes of ps5 version of gta online just want possible last gen.

Absolutely no f-ing way. Its way too good looking and immersive and I'm too much of a wuss. That gameplay trailer was enough for me. I can appreciate it's easily one of the best looking games of all time but it's just not for me. Now if you don't mind I'll go back to ignoring Alien Isolation for another six years

Nah I liked Abby though. She was hard done by and the character was entirely justified in her actions. I hope we get a lot more of her in the future.

@Ambassador_Kong you're right, Ellie was an unlikeable psychopath for half the game, but it was right that the audience wasn't given just what they want.

Injustice 2 for a fiver is an absolute joke. The best beat em up of the last gen and including this gen. I always found it weird why they never bothered to make MK look as good as they made this look.

Still not gone back to Bloodborne after ragequitting it after 20 minutes about five years ago. Couldn't see what the hype was about. Maybe one day I'll give it another go.

Been waiting for a game to use the Zelda A Link to the Past light world/dark world mechanic as well for decades! Looks great but I won't be going anywhere near it - way too creepy!

Yeah definitely more of a Flashback demake than anything else, even down to Conrad's jacket. Will definitely check this one out when it hits the Plus collection

@MickOnYourFace it definitely is. It streamlines the first few tutorial missions to get you up to speed and jetting off pretty quickly now, too.

Between the yearly sports games and Apex Legends I'm not surprised. Don't underestimate just how massive Star Wars is, either. Tons of people are still discovering Jedi Fallen Order, tons of people still play the two Battlefront games too.

Too many bug like enemies. Get rid of them, make the levels a bit less boring to navigate and this could be something special.

I personally loved remake for these reasons. If I wanted the original story it takes 30 seconds to select it from the game library

Live service when it's done well can be great. From giants like Fortnite and GTA V, Rocket League to smaller games like Battlefront 2015, Battlefront 2, Injustice 2 etc, there are lots and lots still going for a good reason. I mean it doesn't help that Avengers just felt...boring to play, and also the insulting install size.

Like an idiot I kept putting this one off, again and again and again and now I've probably missed the boat, it's way too late to get started with it. Dead impressed with the No Man's Sky-esque redemption it seems to have pulled off though!
